Perfect right out of the box. Warm feet even in minus zero temps and snow! I do not need extra thick socks with these boots. Very comfortable to wear all day.

These boots are comfortable. I think they are much cuter than they look on here. I got them to replace my UGGs for sloppy wet days.

I love these boots! I have been so happy with the last 3 pairs of Merrell shoes I have purchased I decided to try their boots. They are very comfortable and cute! I have received a lot of compliments on them already. I still haven't tried them in the snow yet but bought them because they said they were waterproof. I can tell they are very warm and they seem like they will be waterproof because the quality is great! They felt true to size but I do have a hard time fitting my thicker socks on with them but I didn't want to go a size bigger.

Not bulky or heavy and you can tell they won't fall apart anytime soon. Love how they are waterproof which is a must have living in New England. They also look very stylish and are easy to tuck in jeans or wear with winter leggings. They actually feel just like wearing a sneaker. I highly recommend, a bit pricey but worth it.

These are very comfortable! There is a lot of room, which is ok, because I would like to be able to wear them with thicker socks. I wore them to a football game and it was approximately 48 degrees. I had expected to put foot warmers in them, but it wasn't necessary. I look forward to testing them in colder weather.

Sturdy boot and casual styling. Nice traction sole. Would have liked more support for extended walking comfort. If wearing heavy socks, I would order a half size up!

I like this boot. I live in a snowy climate and have two dogs, lots of time out side. Nice for traction but comfy. They are a little bit hard to just slip on. You have to tug a bit.

Wonderful boot. Exceptionally comfortable right out of the box. Cushioned to reduce shock to back. Cute on the foot. Does provide some arch support or will take an insert. True to size. I had an issue with one pair and Zappos took care of the problem and sent a new one the next day. Great service!

These are comfy and I'm sure they would be warm, but once I got them and tried them on, I changed my mind about wanting to pay over a lot for them (with tax...). So I'm returning them for no other reason than they are overpriced.

I love these boots. They are very stylish, and I get lots of compliments on them. However, I wouldn't call them warm. I was buckling my kids in their car seats for about 5 minutes in light snow. My feet were cold. I tried so long to avoid getting Uggs. I ended up getting Uggs. My feet are definitely warmer in Uggs than these. But...I still love them for style.

I was looking for a boot that I could basically pull on at the beginning of winter and not take off until the thaw (with intervals for appropriate personal hygiene, of course!). This is that boot. It's warm, it's cozy, it's understated for hibernation season, it's waterproof, it's tough, it walks on snow. It's completely perfect with jeans and pants, a teeny bit short for skirts that are knee-length (I'm 5'11" so boots are always awkward anyway). While the color is a bit dull, and it does pick up salt and dirt very easily, but with a suede brush it cleans right up. I like the style - it's just right for me - kind of back-country, kind of coffee-shop hangout charm. I've trekked around Chicago in snow and ice in this boot, and hung out at family holiday gatherings in it, too. While those with narrow feet will need two layers of socks, it works well for me because I have really wide feet and no arch to speak of. I look forward to numerous winters in these boots. And then I will truly appreciate the first pedicure of the spring.

This pair of boots is well-made but very tight and narrow. I need to return and get 1/2 size up.

I have a low profile foot (bony) with average width and narrow heel. I wanted a boot that would be good for slushy, snowy, wet weather, but wasn't a high boot (have Sorels for the really nasty weather). This boot was a bit too sloppy for me. It was wider in the shaft and top of the foot. So, my low-profile foot did take up the extra room of the boot. It would be good for someone with a fatter or more normal foot profile. Also, order the Merrell Decora with the laces and they fit the bill. My heel only comes up 1/4", with is good and the laces help to secure the overall fit. Normally, I'm 11-11 1/2 and I'm comfortably in 11 with thicker sock and superfeet insole. The only negative is the tongue is only gusseted to the top of the foot not the entire tongue. With the lacing system, I don't think this should be a problem. Will provide an update when I really test on the short gusseted tongue.

I love Merrell shoes and sneakers and hiking boots. This was my first time trying a regular boot. I had to go up a whole size due to high arches. My mother had to go up a whole size because they do not make these in wide widths. I am not super impressed.

For the price, I thought my feet would stay warm but instead I have very expensive cold feet but hey, they look good. Thoroughly disappointed with this boot. First, the size issue. I ordered an 8 1/2 and my feet are swimming in them, even with thick wool socks. I kept them because initially I thought when it's real cold outside, I would need the extra room with my bulky winter socks but I still couldn't fill the extra room. Secondly and most importantly, they do not provide the warmth needed in wet and cold northeastern winters. I regret purchasing these boots, I should have stuck with my LL Bean storm chasers. I gave these boots three stars because if you're looking for a stylish winter boot, they are cute, just not very functional.

So disappointed. I researched so many boots and finally bit the bullet and ordered these boots. In the online images and video the boots are so beautiful. They arrived and are very average looking. They feel true to size and comfy. I don't know if they are waterproof as they claim but I am not trying them to see. The boots have to go back. Boots that cost this much should make you go 'wow.' These make me go 'I splurged for this?' The suede is not lush looking and the fake fur really looks fake. So sad especially because I wear size 11 and they did fit. Not easy to find an 11 that doesn't look like a clodhopper. I do love Zappos for easy ordering and returns.

These boots look great and are nicely waterproof. I love the zip and the fur around the top. Drawbacks: they are not quite as warm as I'd hoped. Also, they are not as supportive as my bad feet require. I have metatarsalgia, and these boots leave me in pretty severe forefoot pain if I wear them for more than a little while.

Handsome boots, accurately sized. If they were $100 instead of $200, I would keep them as my city boots... but these aren't nearly warm enough for northeast winter. Will have to go for the 400gr insulation styles.

I think these boots are clunky and ugly. I really wanted to love them like all of the other reviewers, but I just don't get what they think are so great about these boots.

Darn it. I really wanted to like these based on the many positive reviews. The boots are light weight, very comfortable except for one thing: along the side where the zipper is, the boots buckle in and rub against my ankle bone and the side of my leg making for an uncomfortable experience. Although the foot bed is comfy and warm the rubbing against my ankle bone and side of leg is definitely going to be a problem; so back to Zappos these go. Thanks Zappos for your AWESOME return policy.

This is a great looking boot and comfortable everywhere except the ankle area where strap is. Rubbed my ankle even with socks on so had to return. I was sad because everything else about the boot - the look, fit, comfort of footbed, etc was great.

I wanted to love these boots but they were really narrow so I must return them!

A good-looking boot, I just didn't trust these to be warm and dry. There is little insulation, and the zipper does not seem to me to be waterproof. Maybe I'm wrong about the zipper. I'm looking for a bit more insulation.

I was looking for a slip on boot & these definitely can't be slipped on without using the zipper so they didn't work for me. But they did feel very comfortable & I thought the look was pretty nice.

Love the look but arch support was severely lacking for me. Too bad but they are going back. The search is still on.
