If you have a low ankle bone you may not these shoes comfortable. I'm returning because my ankle bone rubs on the side of the shoe and because they're sort of cheap looking.

I love, love these shoes. I have a wide foot and narrow heel as well as knee problems that are exacerbated by poorly supporting shoes! These are perfect!

These are great shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for work. I walk on hard marble floors all day long. These shoes make me feel like I'm walking on air.

The previous complaints about the shoelaces are valid. They will not stay tied and the 30 inch replacement cement lace is very hard to find! VERY frustrating! Other than that, these shoes are OK.

I had really wanted to like this shoe, but after wearing it for a couple of weeks, I have to say it is not what I'd expected. If you have bad feet or any knee issues, this isn't the shoe for you. It's smaller than expected but even a larger size wouldn't help. The sole is relatively thin, so there is no cushion for my metatarsals as I walk. It has no arch support and not adequate room to add orthotics. After a day of wearing these, my feet feel like they're on fire and my knees are killing me. Too late to return it, so this was $145 wasted. It is an attractive shoe and a person with good feet will likely find it comfortable.

The third time's the charm... I have short frog feet; narrow heel, broad forefoot, high arch. My shoe size is typically a 6.5 -7, W or WW. I have Aravons in 7 W; but have been having trouble lately with narrow toeboxes and ordered a 7 WW to start. It was just overall too big; I sent it back for a 6.5 W. It was close, but after walking around for an hour or so I realized it was going to pinch my forefoot enough to aggravate the Morton's Neuromas that flare up if my shoes are the least bit too narrow. So those went back; fortunately the 6.5 WW was still available. This one works. Supportive but not overly snug, with a nice cushy insole. This one's a keeper. And I also have to say that they are really snazzy shoes. I was expecting something that looked like a black leather sneaker; these are oxfords with nothing 'sneakerish' about them. They will be good dress-pants shoes for sure.

As a bartender I'm on my feet for hours. These shoes are great, comfortable right out of the box and light weight too. I have narrow feet and they fit really well. I normally have problems with my heels slipping, but these shoes fit great. My only complaint is the laces come untied a lot, so I'm prob going to shop around for replacement shoe laces. Otherwise highly recommended!

I purchased the Aravon Francesa in a 9.5N. The toe box isn't very high but it does accommodate my insole.They are a soft leather and comfortable to wear. There is a little style to the toe of the shoes with a rounded toe. For a narrow shoe these fit.

Finally a size 13 N shoe that fits & is more attractive than many oxfords. Though I haven’t walked far in them, short walks have been very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Thanks for caring about us narrow-footed women Aravon!!! Please make more styles that are fit for walking in!

This is a rare shoe-- built for comfort but not heavy and clunky. It's not heavy-duty enough to be a hiking shoe, but it's comfortable and supportive enough for days when I need to be on my feet a lot or walk a moderate distance. And it's nice enough looking to wear with a good pants outfit out to dinner or to a concert. It's slightly dressier looking than the Aravon Farren, with more of a "jazz oxford" look. The removable insoles allow me to add a little arch support with an OrthaHeel slim insert. In Munro shoes, I wear a 12, but these run short enough that I needed a 13. Aravon shoes are well made and hold up well-- I've been wearing the Farren for 2.5 years and they still look quite new and feel good.

I work in a school and these are my go to shoes for work. They may not be stylish but I can wear my orthotics without removing the insole. This provides an extra level of cushion for my feet. I have wide feet and bought 9 WW last time. I think I will stay with the 9W since they do give a bit with wear.

This is the fourth time I have purchased these shoes. With my orthotics, I need an extra wide shoe and the ties help keep the shoe snug. I do not remove the sole so I am able to keep the cushioning of the sole and us my orthotics. The shoe does not look bad for an oxford. But these are definitely not glamour shoes.

This is my second pair. I using it to work 5 or 6 days a week 40 hours. I have a lot of problems in my feet and spine. I can use my orthotics with it. Soft leather and great quality.

These shoes are great! I needed a good walking shoe for doing laps around my neighborhood (trying to lose weight), but always have trouble finding shoes that fit well, look good, & are comfortable. It usually takes me a few tries to find the perfect shoe, but I got it the first time with these! They don't look dorky & are very comfortable, & I'd recommend them to anyone who has wide feet, narrow heels, & a high instep.

I bought these for my mom. She needed a shoe that she felt safe walking in that was more dressy than a gym shoe. She loves them and they look cute on her.

These are very comfortable shoes with great support. For lace up shoes, they don't look dowdy as many others do. Keep up the good work Aravon. My orthotics fit in them although the insert that comes with them offers considerable support.

I purchased these shoes because I am going to be doing a lot of walking on an upcoming trip. I use custom orthotics so I can't speak to the arch support, but I had plenty of room for my toes and I felt the shoe would be sturdy enough to walk on uneven terrain. However, I just couldn't get past the style. I have problem feet and am used to wearing shoes that won't set fashion trends, but these are not for me. Instead, I ordered Taos Footwear Getaway, which is more stylish and will accommodate my orthotics. Thanks, Zappos!

Fit and size are perfect. Plenty of toe room. Foot bed could use a little more cushioning.

I really love this shoe! Comfortable. I wear this to work as much as I can.

This is my first pair of Aravon shoes, so I was a bit wary. I've only worn these once, but they were very comfortable. At first I was concerned they might be a little too big, but I think they just a have a bit more toe room than my last pair of oxfords (which were a different brand). By the end of the day, I realized I hadn't noticed my feet all day, so they must fit OK.

GREAT SHOES!! I have "Flintstone" feet & the fit is perfect. It feels as good as an orthopedic shoe but looks great. A classy oxford to just put on & go. Quality plus. I'm 65+ years old & active. I have always worn good shoes as I always had -on my feet jobs-so I know good shoes. Thank You for having them at a good price! :)

Perfect fit for me. My feet swell and so I ordered extra wide. They’re perfect. I thought my feet would be swimming. They weren’t. Great shoes.

I thought these shoes ran true to size however I didn’t take into consideration my feet swell sometimes. So I reluctantly exchanged them for the extra wide. They’re perfect. Not too wide but wide enough to accommodate the occasional swelling.

I find these shoes to fit true to size. I have a size 13 foot and I wear orthotics so shoes are always difficult for me. These are the staple of my work and play shoes. They are comfortable and yet I can wear them with slacks or jeans. I have ordered them for several years and will continue to do so. I love my Francescas!
