Great walking shoe with just enough style . Wore them to walk from one end of Boston to the other right after the shoes arrived without any problems. Did insert my own arch support. Shoes are wide enough in the toe box, but still fit my narrow heel. Could wear sox with the shoes, which is important for me, as I have a circulation problem. A good fit for my tiny problem feet!

I wore these shoes inside my house for about a week, hoping they'd work a little better for my feet. My toes splay out so the somewhat narrow toe area (which makes the shoe look nice and sleek) just didn't work. Returning with regrets, and continuing my search. It's a lovely shoe.

Too narrow in the ball of foot, too wide in heel. Not enough arch support for me.

I typically wear a 6.5 to 7, W to WW and have other Aravon shoes in 7 W that fit well. I ordered these in 7 WW, since my feet have been swelling of late, and they were simply too big. At least half a size too long, while the width might have been ok with thick socks. Gonna see if I can still get a 6.5, but these are going back. As well as I could tell, they would be comfy shoes, but hard to tell when they don't fit right.

These fit fine and the comfort was good. I'm pretty picky about comfort though. The style was not for me. The pictures made the shoes look a little more stylish than they really are.

Very comfortable and attractive shoes. They are very lightweight; the sole is a bit thinner than I'd prefer, since I have fairly flat feet, but using insoles improved the comfort. They are a bit low cut, but not terribly so. The toebox is fair-sized, and accomodated my bunion nicely. These are smart enough for the office or a casual evening out.

I ordered this to try putting my brace for foot drop in the shoe. Sadly even with ordering a wide width, aI was not able to do so. They are a nice looking shoe.

Ran small. Too small even without socks. 9 1/2 is more like a 8 1/2-9. Feel comfortable, but until I reorder and wear longer, I can’t weigh in too much.

These are relatively good looking for flat, black, lace up shoes. I've had them for some months now, and they are more comfortable as time goes by. The collar of the shoe is rather high, but I solved that problem by inserting my own orthotics.

This shoe is soft and flexible. It does not have as much structure as I am looking for. I'd say it runs large. It is difficult to snug up the laces and the heel is loose for me.

This shoe is just the look I wanted. Great arch support but too small. The size 8 was too small and so was the 8 1/2. Even though the 8 1/2 was a narrow the heel was slipping when I walked. I would order a full size larger. Sorry I could not keep them.

I have finally accepted the fact that I need "old lady" shoes. I don't think that I would ever consider them stylish, but they do suit the purpose of a comfort shoe. I think that I will be putting many miles on these shoes.

I wear 12 N. These were too tight in the toe box. My toes are a bit bent.

Had recent foot surgery and this is the only tie shoe in uniform line to wear so purchased them in case I need to loosen for swelling. Very light weight, arch is o.k. but not great. Look good with uniform slacks.

I ordered these and the Aravon Farrens, which I've been wearing for years. Their look is VERY similar. There is some swirled stitching on these, and the lace up portion doesn't come as far up towards the ankle. But from any distance, they are indistinguishable. I decided to stick with the Farrens because the fact they laced up farther made me feel like my ankles had a little more support.

Order a half size to full size larger.

I would have liked this shoe, but 10.5 B (my usual size) was a little too short, with just the right right heel width. 11 B allowed my heel to slip, and I couldn't do any fancy shoelace arrangement to snug it up. As others mentioned, shoelaces are weird.

Very comfortable, not very stylish, but the biggest problem is they get white water marks all over when they get wet. Have to polish them with a cloth whenever I go out. In Seattle this is a problem!

These are a PERFECT fit for me, and I always have trouble finding shoes to fit my narrow heel (not instep). However, it is too bad they are not lined in leather. Additionally, when I removed the insole to try with my thick socks, the bottom material looks like it won't last long. I fear the worst in the hot weather, so I returned them. Too bad.

I have three other pairs of Aravon shoes that I love--8B is a perfect fit. But 8B in these (Francesca) are too small, even without socks. Also, they seem to force my foot to roll to the inside.

Thought these shoes were what I am looking for but didn't like the look. Reasonably comfortable with my custom orthotic. They are true to size.

I've been wearing this shoe for years but something has changed. The sizing feels a half size larger & they feel less comfortable than they used to. These shoes do not have very good traction on the bottom either (they never did). The toe box is cut a little too narrow for a wide foot like mine. I ended up returning them.

Shoes fit perfect very comfortable but the leather finish is so thin the toes were peeling after the third time I wore them. I just can't ignore that considering the price of this shoe.
