not comfortable on my instep

Read all the reviews and was so excited to get these. Unfortunately, they are too tight...and they didn't come in a wide width.

These are the cutest shoes I have seen in a long time!! My mother has a pair, and they look so great with everything she wears, I just had to try a pair. Unfortunately, they are just not the right size for my (I tries my usual 8.5, and also tried 8 & 9). But SOOOOOO sorry, because they are truly adorable!

Love these. Super comfortable, fits very well. Only downside is it does look a little too much like a "comfort" shoe, but for days I am on my feet all day this is the nicest way to wear a sneaker without wearing a sneaker

Comfortable, look great, feel wonderful.

This is a super cute shoe. Great leather and great looking. Unfortunately I had to return as my feet are wide with a narrow heel. Shoes were too wide even for my wide feet and the heel slipped as often happens when ordering wide shoes. These are terrific, just wish they had fit.

My goodness! These flats are HEAVEN! Felt good the minute I stepped into them. I have a bone spur on my heel and there is beautiful padding there. These shoes are also very kind to my bunions! I usually take a size 9 shoe and after reading reviews, I ordered an 8.5 in a medium width. They were perfect! I'd love a pair of these in navy blue...I can only wish, right? I am now looking into more Rockport shoes. These are perfect for working in an office, with a nice brisk walk everyday from the parking lot.

These shoes fit perfectly and look good. Can't ask for more than that!

Hands down, these are the most comfortable pair of flats that I've purchased (my other favorites are from Ugg). I ordered the Pewter in an 8 Narrow. They fit perfectly right out of the box and it doesn't appear as though they will require a break in period. Highly recommend!

I love ballet flats, and the problem I seem to have with them is that if I wear them every single day, I'll wear them through in about three months. And I'm not talking about doing aggressive activities in them, I'm talking about wearing them to work at a bank where I sit a lot of the day. I've been wearing these for about two weeks, and they have a much thicker sole than traditional flats. They have moderate arch support and a fairly thick memory foam food bed. They're very comfortable, though they run a touch too big, I wish I could have gotten a half size down. Time will tell if they hold up, but I have high hopes.

Had to have knee surgery (torn meniscus) earlier this year, find myself still unable to wear heels of any kind, and was so relieved to find these very comfortable flats in time for my trip to Europe next week. I wear an 8.5W and have worn these for three solid days with no signs of rubbing or blistering. Was not impressed with photo and worried that the ribbon might look cheap, but it looks very nice on the real thing and everyone at work complimented my cute new shoes. Support feels good, a little tight near the pinkie in the right toe box, but no "toe cleavage" and as another reviewer said, they are comfortable even without socks and no sweaty feeling after walking around town in them for a couple of hours. Just wish they had more color options. I'd have ordered a second pair in navy or bone.

I ordered about six pairs of flats to try on, and these were by far the most comfortable. I have worn them with and without nylon socks and have had no rubbing on my feet or heels, even without the socks. They are somehow magically cushioned in all the right places. I have never had shoes that did not rub. It is magic! They are full cushioned in the heel and I seriously feel that I could jog in them. They ares stylish too! They are highly recommended.

These seem to run large. I will be exchanging for a smaller size. I am willing to go half a size down.

I am on my second pair of these shoes. I ordered a wide at first and while they felt great at first after awhile they stretched a bit too much. I now have the normal width and they are perfect. They look more stylish on than in pics more like a ballet flat but still have that "sensible" shoe vibe as well. So comfortable. They even have a little built in padding behind the heel which is great. Highly recommend.

Thanks to reviews I read here on Zappos, I order a half size smaller than my normal size and the gold flat fit great. My only complaint is the heel is really wide, causing slippage. However, I put a Dr. Scholl insert in the shoe, under the ball of my foot, and it pushed my foot back just far enough so that my heel didn't slip and therefore made these shoes a keeper.

I am an elementary school teacher who is on my feet all day. At the end of the day I feel like I can still walk a mile in these shoes. I have wide feet that require a wide width shoe and it's hard for me to find flats like this with a toe box wide enough to fit. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Cobb Hill has quickly become my favorite shoe brand. These flats were comfortable right out of the box. The ribbon like detailing added a nice touch. Cushion I soles and all around cute and comfortable.

It is like walking on two little clouds. Postpartum, my feet are a hot mess. They have spread wide, my toes tend to curl and often can fit in the heidth (is that a word?) of a shoe. These are professional enough for business casual and I feel comfortable walking in them for blocks at a time. They are moderately cute, but given the circumstances of my challenging feet. Five stars all around.

Of the 3 shoes I ordered this was the one I put on and wore all over the house. I think it will serve me as I visit Congress in DC for 2 busy days.

Comfortable from Day 1. I was able to wear them all day! And the sizing was spot on (for me!).

Really like the style and color of this shoe. Unfortunately it wasn't narrow enough for my foot. Cobb Hill is one of my favorite brands.

These shoes are worth the price! Well made. Cute. Comfortable. I have pretty sensitive feet and a higher arch. I wore them all day at a convention (not on my feet all day though) and they were pretty comfy. A little rub on the ankles by the evening, but no blister. I would buy these in more colors if they had several more!

The most comfortable dress flat I own. This shoe is a little wider than the normal Narrow I wear. I will definitely look for Cobb Hill again.

I tried various styles from Zappos. I love that feature. Choose these out of the six pairs. They are comfortable, stylish, well made. Thank you, Zappos for giving us the feeling of the old time shoe store - but the comfort of my own living room.
