Thought these were the comfortable and looked the best with the dress.

I ordered the wide and went half a size up. My toes are a bit numb after wearing them for a little while. I always have this trouble. I plan on keeping them as I know with a bit of wear they'll eventually feel better. I love the style!

I work on my feet all day at school and my feet never hurt when I'm wearing these boots. Hence, I wear them almost every day and always get compliments. It looks great, fits great; what else can I say?!

Attractive, stylish and versatile boot. Cobb Hill is just about the only reason I'm not wearing slippers 24/7, and I appreciate their line of comfortable but not dowdy shoes. Unfortunately, for my inflamed joints and feet, the heel on these boots is just a little too high--puts too much pressure on the ball of the foot. For people without those issues, would recommend this boot in an instant. Supportive, stable, and cute!

Loved the look of these boots and the way they felt on the bottom of my feet, but I wear a slight wide and these were just too narrow. I am disappointed but have to return them. Luckily Zappos had other boots I loved!

Shoes are awesome but need to return for half size down. They probably run tru to size but I have a bunion on my right foot and was trying to compensate for that.

Fits well, not tight. I was looking for a boot that didn't squish my feet. I didn't even have to break them in. Wore them to a concert and had no problem.

Love these, they look great and feel great. My foot is wide at the base but more narrow around the heel, so they slip a little but it isn't enough for me to want to return them.

Bought these for my daughter for her birthday. She said she needed new boots she could wear at work. She works at a bank and is on her feet sometimes for long periods and complained her feet hurt. I saw the reviews saying how comfortable these boots were and I also have a pair of Rockford dress shoes I love so I got them. She reports that she has worn them to work every day since. When she first put them on she mentined they might not be wide enough (size 7M) but she said the leather molded to her feet quickly and they are very comfortable she loves them.

Perfect fit for 8 l/2! Great leather, well made. Decided not to keep them because I like the heel better on the Earth Calgary Winnepeg. Thank you, Zappos! Great service!!!

Just ordered my second pair of these. I am a 52 year old woman who wears a 10 narrow. Finding stylish footwear the is also comfortable is hard. These are a winner on all counts. Every time I wear them, I have Nancy Sinatra singing "these boots are made for walking" in my head. Love them and love Zappos!!

I love the look and feel of these Rockports, but a size 9 (my usual size) was way too big.

I normally am most comfortable in an 8.5W which is what I ordered and received. This fit perfectly. The arch rests exactly where it should and nicely supports my foot. The style is just as pictured - a little casual but with the slight heel, it dresses up my jeans nicely. The leather is soft to the touch and there is a little bit of an extra-soft lining just inside the upper edge of the boot that I like as well. As for walking comfort, I give it 5 stars - I even hiked in it (not strenuous; just a casual stroll in the woods) with absolutely no discomfort. It gripped the dirt path just fine and I never once worried about losing my footing.

I always wear a size 7 wide and had to reorder in a 6.5 wide because it was too long. The 6.5 fit fine. It has a nice rounded toe box so is comfortable and very cute. Looking forward to wearing them.

I couldn't believe how comfortable and stylish these were when I got them out of the box. I have tried on dozens of ankle boots that just didn't fit my foot, (high arch). The heel height is perfect, they have a great foot bed, the zipper is easy to pull up and down, they also fit around my left bum fat ankle that got broken when I got hit by a car in 2003, but the best thing is the comfort. I had to run through O'Hare airport to catch a flight and they did not make my feet hurt at all. I love them.

A little about my feet; I have a very wide foot, my first (or big toe) toe on both feet are unusually thick, requiring a shoe to accommodate toe depth as well as difficult toenails and my feet have little tolerance for hard soles. So, with all that said, I purchased a standard size 8 (my foot measures a 7 1/2) because occasionally this trick allows me to find a comfortable shoe ?. These boots right out of the box were definitely wearable and became comfortable in no time (I have shoe stretchers galore) without any oils or stretching. If my feet were easier to shoe, the style isn’t my taste but they feel so good on I guess I now find them optically pleasing. So, if you’re a true size 8? If your foot runs narrow you may not care for the fit. Hope this helps?

I'm wearing these right now and they are stylish, comfy and have a very manageable, slight heel. I am considering getting them in brown, as I just bought the black ones. These are a win for me. I wear a 7WW in them and they are a fine width and the perfect length. Let's see how I feel after wearing them around the house, but I'm not likely to change my mind about keeping these.
