I bought my mat almost a year ago. It has been great. I practice a few times a week and it got broke in after about 4 months. It doesn't slip at all and is extremely comfortable. I recommend this mat to everyone.

My boyfriend had be eyeing this up for ages and I bought it for him this past Christmas. He is thrilled with this mat, to say the least. The quality is fantastic and the mat does not slip during downward dog or any position that can generally stretch out your mat. He talked it up so much, his next door neighbor purchased one too. The only con is that is is quite a large mat and that it's fairly heavy. I wouldn't suggest it for traveling to and from classes but it is a very solid piece for using in your house. He is definitely hooked and would suggest it to anyone.

I bought the mat several months ago because I needed more support for my knees. It has worked beautifully for me and certainly enhanced my practice. I recommend to follow the instructions for preparing the mat so it's not so slippery.

I've had this mat for a while now, can't remember exactly how long. It's very durable and high quality. I have completely stopped using my yogitoes, which I always used for my hot yoga classes. This mat is so grippy that I no longer need it! I really like this mat and hope it lasts me many years.

Love this mat. It took a while to break it in, and I even had to use their rub-the-salt-in method, but it's finally doing the job great and I rarely slip anymore (unless it's hot yoga). The thickness of this is perfect for people with bad knees (aka me). It's a bit bulky/heavy, but worth it. Best yoga mat I've ever purchased.

This mat offers great support! No need to place a blanket under my knees for protection.

I bought my mat about two months ago but I love every second spent on it during practice. It is easy to take to every class in each new city. It is super durable and supporting through every pose and stance. Having a Manduka makes practicing every day exciting and daring!

Purchased about 6 months ago. There is a security and strength I feel beneath my feet that I really like. This is my go to mat. (I have other brands)

I absolutely LOVE this Manduka PRO Mat! The color is so pretty, it is sturdy and when I do poses I feel good and solid. Took it to the local Farmers Market for an outdoor practice and everyone else's mat's were blowing around, not mine, sturdy and heavy enough to lay flat and nice.

This is my second Manduka Mat PRO - it is an incredibly durable and comfortable mat. The mat gets better with age, remains sticky and firm.

The taxes made me almost regret that I got it, though.

This mat is thick and the most comfortable I've ever tried. Worth the $! I'm thinking of getting a bag thogh because it is heavy and opens when I go to and from yoga.

This mat is amazing. I bought it a year ago after reading reviews and I love this mat more and more every day. I do yoga and/or pilates at least 6 times a week. Initially, the mat did have an oily coating, but that dissipated after about 10 days. The more I use the mat, the more grip it retains. It looks and feels like it has no wear. I can't wait to keep enjoying it for many years to come and I can't remember when I have felt this appreciative of a product's quality.

The best yoga mat hands down! I hesitant to buy because of the price after my first cheap one ripped on me while trying to go into warrior 2 pose. The yoga studio I attend was nice enough to lend me this one. It's expensive but it's worth the money.

I was very happy with the quick delivery process and love the free shipping. I also am very happy with my mat. I do not find it slippery. I practice heated vinyasa 2-3 times per week and it meets all my expectations.

I love my Manduka mat. I had a Black Pro, but my husband started using it. I love having my own Manduka again!

(I'm driven to add a review to defend what is rightfully considered "the Cadillac of yoga mats", since it currently has only one bad review.) I love this mat. It is incredibly durable. I've had mine for a couple years now and it literally looks and feels brand new. I've washed it once, just rinsed it in the shower. I am a pretty heavy sweater by nature, and yes, it does get slippery where wet, just like every other mat I've ever tried (haven't tried the Lulu towel mat though). I just shift over an inch as needed or lean on a towel. However, the bottom of this mat is incredibly grippy - I do plyometrics and cardio on my mat all the time, jumping with full body weight side to side and it doesn't budge with my hardwood floor beneath it. That is not true of my other 2 yoga mats. Only complaint - I wish it were longer (without the price hike). It does have a slight odor from time to time (stronger when brand new) - but from what I've read, nearly all the best durable mats do. Honestly this doesn't bother me, and it's a worthy exchange for not having to replace my mat every year or two. Great quality! Pays for itself in a couple years, and then just keeps going like new.

Large heavy duty mat. Heavier than my other mats but I like how sturdy, thick, wide and long it is. Overall a great studio or home mat. Wouldn’t recommend for travel.
