I'm a podiatrist so I'm always looking to set a good example with my footwear- stylish and comfortable. These flats have more support than any other I've tried. I got the narrow width but they are still a little wider than I would have expected. The 7.5 was too small so I returned them. I think the 8s are just a little too big. I got some heel grips put in the back to help them not slip, and I use the little toe socks and that helps. I was able to wear these at work without pain all day. If you want something with support these are worth trying.

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I got them in the distressed pewter, which is a lovely color -- a little darker than pictured. Unfortunately, the shoes haven't held up great. I wear them about 3 days a week (I like them that much) and have had them for 4-ish months. The color has totally deteriorated. The toes are now black and the only pewter is on the sides of the shoes. On the bottoms, the heels have worn off to the point that there are holes in them (I do have a strange gait, but I've had shoes for years that have held up with much less wear). I'm not especially hard on these shoes -- we're talking frequent, but normal wear. I wouldn't advise against buying the shoes, but be advised that they may not hold up as well as you hope. But they're comfy as the dickens.

These are the best combination of comfort and style I've found in a ballet flat. I bought these to wear to work, where I stand at my desk for much of the day and often take a long walk at lunch, so I needed shoes that are comfortable, professional, and stylish. These fit the bill. They feel so good that I look forward to wearing them: cushion-y, supportive, and no break-in required. I first tried my regular size, a 7, which fit fine but I was worried they would stretch and be too big, so I went with a 6.5. Very glad I did - tight at first but a perfect fit after a few weeks of wear.

One of the most comfortable shoes ever! I love these! They are great for work and also casual wear. Definitely recommend! Felt true to size. I'm normally an 8, and sometimes an 8.5. I ordered both to compare and liked the feel of the 8 better.

Who knew it was so difficult to find comfortable flats? I have been searching (and spending a lot of money) to find a pair I could wear all day without heel blisters or cutting across the top of my foot, and finally have found them! I bought two pairs, and may be back for more colors...the pewter is a great neutral and the metallic is subtle, not flashy. Most that I have purchased felt good initially; however, after wearing and walking through the day had me in tears from pain. Thankfully, these are comfortable for all day wear with no break in, and very cute too! The only negative I would cite is that both pairs squeak when you walk...I won't be sneaking up on anyone! The leather is very soft and pliable...very nice quality. If you are searching for the perfect pair of comfort flats, I recommend you give these a try.

I am so disappointed! I ordered this shoe in Bordeaux & Pewter in an 8.5....my normal non-sneaker size. The colors & style are beautiful. The shoe box fit perfectly. The heel, however, flopped with every step. I'm not sure why, though. When standing, the heel appeared to fit & the footbed provided good support. However, as soon as I picked up my foot, the heel flopped down. I really don't think going down a size will help. I think my toes would get crammed. This shoe would have gotten 5 stars if not for the puzzling heel problem.

AWESOME shoe! Tried on so many pairs! Normally wear 9 or 9.5 wide but after having so many pair not fit right, flap in the wind, fall off at the heel, bend in the middle when I step, I tried these in an 8.5 regular width and they fit like a glove. This is a very pretty and comfortable shoe. I wore it right out of the box all day. It runs wide. The wide width gaped on my foot; the medium fit perfectly. The red is a very attractive color.

I was disappointed with these flats because I was hoping they'd have more arch support like the Earthies flats I have loved. The style is not bad, but somewhat unremarkable.

Comfortable shoes that are dressy enough for occasions that require it. Unfortunately the backs are quite low and the heels slip. I had to get heel grips in order to wear them without the shoes coming off.

So, I ordered this shoe in a wide because although my entire foot is not wide, my bunions require a wider toe box. This WHOLE shoe was wide. And at least a half size longer than I expected. Stuffing some paper in the heel made me feel that even if I sized down the shoe would not stay on well due to the width. Otherwise, the footbed feels pretty comfy and the toe box did seem like it would be wide enough for my bunions. And it was reasonably attractive.

Shoes are very cute. The foot bed is wonderful...nice cushion for a flat. However, they are too wide at the heel and I think so much so that any type of insert might still not keep them from slipping. I feel that the next size down will be too short. But really nice shoe.

While trying it on, felt like good cushion & support, but my right foot kept slipping out of the shoe & the top inner part of the shoe kept rubbing the wrong way & it was painful to walk (this is why I gave it a 2 for comfort but it could have been since my right foot didn't fit properly. Left foot felt like a 5). Nice looking shoe. Wish it had worked.

I purchased this shoe in the pewter and black. The black fit very well, but, sadly, the pewter was much shorter and tighter. It's adorable, so I give it high ratings, but the pewter is sized very differently than that black.

Cute and does make larger feet look somewhat smaller. But ran really big on size 12 feet. Had to return.

These shoes are lovely. However, I have bony feet with sensitive skin and although I've been trying to break them in, they still just aren't quite right. The cinched part of the leather at the top of the shoe rubs against my big toe joint and the side of the heel has rubbed the skin on my lower heel raw :( It's important to note that I work 24 hour shifts, so I'm asking a lot out of this shoe. Perhaps if you are just wearing them around for normal, everyday life, they'd be just fine. But definitely not a good walk-around-a lot work shoe. Too bad because they are so graceful and I love the style.

Cute shoe. Has a bit of shine, but not overdone. Fit wasn't quite right for me--it was a little short.

I think this style is so cute and these are the most comfortable flats I own! I would buy them in every color if it weren't for one major flaw in the quality. I have the almond/tan colored ones and after only 2-3 times wearing them to work they were incredibly scuffed. I still wear them because 1) they were expensive, 2) they are super comfy, and 3) I love the color. But they are now so scuffed up they don't even resemble the pretty image of shiny camel colored leather. For this price, I expect flats to look good for much much longer.

I'm always looking for a supportive flat that looks stylish but this wasn't it. Too big all around and vamp is too low for my little bunion. Oh well.

If this was pointed toe, I'd rebuy

I just love these flats. They are excellent quality. This is my third pair because I wear them almost every day to work.

These are so comfortable! Fit perfectly right out of the box which never happens for me with flats. (well, I needed a bigger size- usually 7.5- needed an 8).

Others have written that the shoe runs large, but I found the length was fine, it is the heel that is too wide and slips. I am returning.

I love the Earth Brand Bellwether! This is my second pair of BLACK Bellwether flats. It is a comfortable, well balanced shoe and when I wore out my first pair, I replaced them with the exact same shoe. It is well worth it's cost. (BTW- I wore the first pair nearly every day for 15 months - that's around 25 cents a day!)
