I think I like this boot, though it certainly doesn't make the fashion statement that I was originally searching for. What sold me were the reviews that talked about the warm, fuzzy inside and the ease of the side zipper. Sure enough, this is a warm, easy-to-use, practical, winter-time boot that will keep you from slipping around and maintain a warm, dry footbed. It's not horrible to look at. The fuzzy part around the top saves it. The clunky, hiking boot sole is a fashion killer, but if you're buying the boot for its intended purpose, then it's a keeper. It's at least a half size (if not a full size) too large on me (and I've ordered the smallest size possible), but I'll most likely wear it with thicker socks. The boots that came to my house happened to be defective. The right boot has a huge fold in the insert that is stiff and extremely uncomfortable. The left boot also had a fold, but I was able to push it down. I'll have to send these back and try another pair...and hope they're not defective.

Ordered two sizes of this boot. I usually wear Danskos and take a size 40. But I ordered a 10 and 10.5 because I have extra wide feet--due to a bunion on each foot that extends about half inch. (Bunions don't hurt so the doc says don't mess with surgery.) The size 10 fit in width--and in length if I wear an extra sock. They slipped somewhat until I put in an over-the-counter heal cushion. I live in Wisconsin and today we have already gotten a foot of snow. So happy to shovel the driveway (for once) so I could try my boots. The temp was 14 degrees F with a chilly, hard wind (probably significant wind chill factor). I was out shoveling for an hour and my toes were just starting to feel a little cold--I could have gone on for another half hour easily. No sign of wetness inside--and good traction. A great buy!

Cute for a winter boot and quite warm. It has held up so far to some very cold Wyoming temperatures. This is a great boot for snow, but it doesn't feel like there is much, if any traction on ice. I wear size 8 and ordered 8.5 so I could wear heavier socks and there is plenty of room.

I wanted to like this boot, but unfortunately it didn't fit my feet well. I usually take a 9 to 9 1/2 in Keen and ordered one of each for this boot. Unfortunately, the 9 was too short and the 9 1/2 was just big enough that it was not comfortable, especially in the ankle area (it seemed loose to me). The tread on the bottom of the boot is awesome. The width of the boot was perfect as well. The ball of my foot is on the wide side, so I appreciated the generous toe box. I opted to return these and ordered the Keen Wilma Lace to try instead. Those ended up working out better for me.

Actually I haven't worn them yet. The fit is good with room for thick socks, but heel would be a bit too roomy without thick socks. Seems normal sized to me. Good toe room. Ankle area feels a bit stiff, as the wrinkle/sag of the boot leg rubs a bit there, however since I have not worn them yet that may not be an issue at all, especially with winter pants, socks etc stuffed in there. My legs are slim, and leg opening fits larger so pants etc can be tucked easy. They look real nice - I have the black. I wish they were not from China though.

Super-cute, easy to slip on snow boot. Love the funky style. Feels a bit snug and I probably could have gone up 1/2 size, but it was snowing and the boots were warm, so I kept them. They do have a removable insole that I took out so that I could drop my own orthotics into the shoe.

These are my 4th pair of Keens! I have sandals, Mary Janes, and hiking boots. I needed snow/cold-weather walking boots, so I figured I'd give these a shot. I normally wear a 6.5D in other brands, because I have a very wide instep, but Keens tend to fit me well even in a regular width. These boots feel great, not too heavy/clunky, and the zipper makes it easy to get them on and off. The little patterned/quilted section on the side is a nice touch. I wouldn't say these are cute -- definitely not as cute as the Keen Wapato boots I am returning -- but they are functional and reasonably okay looking for snow boots, and the furry part on top peeks through a bit, which helps. I ordered sizes 6.5 and 7. I am keeping the 7's to accommodate thick socks (which I will certainly be wearing when I need these boots), but the 6.5 did fit okay, so I would say they run true to size.

These boots are sturdy with good traction and fit well. I like to wear heavy socks with my boots and there is enough room to do this. I have mortons neuromas so I need the wider toe area which this boot provides. The only improvement would be some arch support but this boot would probably accommodate an orthodic.

Very warm. They fit well on my calves, even when wearing bulky pants. I'm glad I ordered the extra half size up, they do feel a bit snug when wearing bulky socks. I only wish they made them taller.

Item was taller than other boots I tried. Main point that has me returning it is the clunk factor. When I walk there is that boot clunk clunk clunk. Not what I want for grocery shopping and running errands!

Don't be fooled by the photo, these boots are not brown! The leather portion is sort of a grey/brown that looks like a faded black while the quilted portion is just black, period. I'm keeping them because, well, they're Keens, so they're comfortable and tough, but my search for brown snow boots I can wear to work continues!

Liked the style, but too small. I usually wear size 5 shoes. I thought 5 1/2 would be big enough in boots, but I had trouble getting my foot in the boot, even with the zipper down. Was tight in length and width as well. Unfortunately am having to return.

Love my Keen Betty Boot II. I live in the Northeast and the cold has been relentless! These boots keep me warm and toasty. The material felt pretty hard the first time I wore them, but after a couple of times of wearing, they have been broken in and are PERFECT! No regrets here!

I need a wide toe box, so I got a 1/2 size bigger, but they are still quite snug. I'm hoping they will give over time. They are warm, though.

Nice fitting boots and they look nice. The traction is superior! They are not super warm, however. My feet were cold in these at a beauty shop! If you are looking for super warm, don't go with these. If you want moderately warm and everything else good, these are the ones.

I am so disappointed that I have to return these - I usually measure a 9 narrow, and while the width and arch support of the 9 feels perfect, they're a little short. It looks like there isn't a 9.5 available so I will have to find other boots. Very bummed because they seem to be well made and would have met my ski lodge needs perfectly.

I didn't want to like these boots because I don't LOVE the way they look. Though I like the fur on the top, the pattern on the side is kind of weird and they are certainly not "dainty." But the truth is, I need warm comfortable boots to go out in the snow with my kids, on ski trips, etc., SO, that said, they are the most comfortable boots I've tried on. Right out of the box, they felt great. I have some foot issues - flat feet, a nerve issue on the bottom of one of my feet - so, finding the right shoe isn't easy. This has a wide enough toe box so that my toes aren't squished (so no nerve issues), and the arch is high enough that I probably won't need to wear my orthotics. Soft inside and warm. I wear 8.5 in sneakers, so I bought an 8.5 in these, and they fit perfectly. If you're looking for a solid, warm, comfortable boot right out of the box, this is it.

The traction on this boot is great and even in the coldest of temps, my feet stay nice and toasty with medium weight socks. The boots are not as heavy on my feet as some other styles like this, but they are definitely not for very long walks. I would suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger.

Beautiful boot! Unfortunately not made for my foot/leg. Bought 1/2 size up which was not needed for the foot but was needed for the calf. I would definitely recommend trying it for yourself though, as it really is a cute boot.

I thought these boots were going to be a bit taller. The treads are awesome for grip in the snow/ice. I am going return them because the ankle breaks causing the material to bend in against the inside of my foot. I ordered up a 1/2 size and the sizing is as expected.

I love the comfort and warmth of the boot. One small complaint is that the color doesn't match the picture. They aren't have brown as I pictured. They have a slight green tint to them. I still love them though!

I really wanted to love and keep these boots. They were room in the toe as a previous review stated but the instep was very tight. I ordered an 8-1/2 and my friend that wears an 8 narrow thought they were tight. Beautiful boot, a little stiff though.

These came just in time. I was going to return them if we didn't get any snow before March 1st. Well we got it and I took them out of the box. Great comfort, warmth and traction.

I wanted to love these boots and from the ankle down they were great. True to size and comfortable. Unfortunately, I have a slightly large calf, boot zipper goes just above mid-calf, and zipping them to the top was a problem. Could do it with no socks (albeit slightly cutting off circulation) but add even a thin layer and couldn't do it. Wish Keen would bring back the previous version, or at least the height. As always kudos to Zappos for both the purchase and return experience.

I really love the look of this boot. I wear a 9.5 but they didn't have it in stock so I ordered a 10. So glad I did. The 9.5 would have been too small. This boot is comfortable and really warm.
