My daughter has very chubby feet. I can never find shoes for her at a store and always have to order online. Stride Rite wide always fits perfectly. This shoe is very nice for school, comfy and enough traction for running around, yet nice enough to go with her uniform. Also, the adjustable velcro make the shoe easy to put on and give you a little more control if you need to adjust for a thicker sock. Their shoes are a little pricey but very well made and never a let down!

Great shoe! We have ordered this shoe in the past and it has held up really well. Provides fantastic support, easy to wear, and holds up well. Perfect for complimenting most outfits, this shoe is an easy choice on a hectic school morning.

Purchased a pair of these for my little girl as her "everyday" dress shoes for school last year in August. She has a wide foot and we needed a shoe with a removable insert so that she could use her orthotics in them. These fit the bill perfectly. They really held up well and she wore them a lot! We were able to keep them looking nice by regularly cleaning and polishing them. They held up nearly the entire school year. About 3 weeks before the school year ended the sole started to separate very slightly at the toe on one shoe, but considering how much use these shoes were put through I still feel they were well made and I believe they earned 5 stars. I would buy these again.

My daughter has owned several pairs of these, we just keep buying the next size because they work for her. She has very sensitive feet and rejects most shoes. She has very narrow feet but has never complained about them being too roomy so it sounds from other reviews like they work for a variety of widths. They really hold up and polish well. I wish Stride Rite would make this shoe in a variety of colors, like Primigi does with their (much more expensive) mary janes.

We bought this shoe for my daughter as a uniform shoe for school. She loves them and thinks they are very comfortable. They look like they will hold up very well and take whatever our 7 yr old will put them through.

My child wears wide shoes. We have found white shoes, black shoes, and I found red shoes. We like these because they are different than black or white, we got navy. And it looks just like the picture, a medium blue that is not too dark. We also love that they are hook and loop. They are perfect!

My daughter began wearing these a few years ago for her school uniform. She is particular about fit as she has a wide foot and sensory issues. She loves these, and has outgrown several pairs. We even bought this pair even though she doesn't wear a uniform anymore.

I have been buying Stride Rite shoes for my 9 year daughter for many years. This is a great shoe to were for school and it is true to size.

This is a really nice shoe but my sister has special needs and has an extra extra wide foot. I'm afraid the boys 2.5 extra wide fits better which cuts down on the feminine design.

I bought these for my granddaughter. She is 4 years old. She has a narrow foot. These fit her so well. They also hold up well after hours of outdoor play. I recommend them.

I bought these for my daughter’s school uniform. They fit perfect and will go very well with the rest of her school uniform. My only concern is that they are quite stiff and kind of heavy compared to her other shoes - they might just need to be worn to break them in.

Well constructed and appears to be great choice for school uniform shoe. 5-year old said they were very comfortable. I took one star away because I would say the navy is not a true dark navy. It’s a bit on the lighter side.

A little stiff but very cute

These are plain and ugly but appear sturdy and made well. The shoes seem to run larger as I had to return my daughter's navy blue pair. Need to reorder. Love the color!

Have bought these for daughter for several years for school,uniform, hold up very well, she is VERY hard on shoes. She has a wide foot but slim heal and Mary Janes assist in this. They can be polished over and over but the blue pairs are hard to match up and keep up. I went back to black. They run long, As the 4 is a bit large even though she has grown completely out of her Jumping Jack Valerie Baleto 4's ( fancier for good and the patent leather kept up VERY well, bummer she has grown too big for these now). I would order a half size down. My one negative, Plain Mary Jane. Wish had a little something to improve style.

These are perfect for my daughter's school uniform. My only complaint is that the scuff easily, but overall a great shoe!

I bought these for my 5 year old daughter with wide feet in the wide width. Even though they aren't very stylish she chooses them often enough that they must be comfortable. My only complaint is with the durability. My daughter attends preschool for 3 hours, 5 days a week and within a short amount of time the front leather looks quite worn. I'd like to add that she has about 5 other pairs of shoes that she also wears to school so with that in mind; the fact that they look so worn without daily use is disappointing. I feel that Stride Rite should add a more durable toe guards like a few other companies do, especially since I feel these shoes are made to be worn on a more daily basis as part of a school uniform.

School uniform shoes, I.e., she wears these all week, every week. My daughter said these felt great. They do seem to run big. The wide width wasn't as wide as other wide widths

Shipping was great! shoes look very nice for price but already scratched up in the front after a few days of wearing.

I've bought many pairs of these shoes in increasingly larger sizes over the years. I wish they made them in even larger sizes- now that she's outgrown this style I need to find a new one. they are comfortable and good shoes

Overall a good shoe, but the navy wore away and scuffed very quickly within the first week of school.

The sole of these shoes is not hard, which is exactly what we were looking for. The shoe is stylish, fits as expected (true to size). Hopefully they'll last well into the school year.
