Stride Rite is good quality shoe it last about 6 months

My daughter has very narrow and long feet. It's hard to find shoes that fit her well in this Mary Jane style. This is the best fit we have found and my daughter loves them! She says they are so comfortable and loves that she can wear them with or without socks.

Very cute! Just what my daughter needed to go with a new navy jumper. These shoes seem to run a touch on the big side, but her foot will grow so I kept them. Very pleased with the purchase.

My daughter absolutely loves these shoes for school and so do I. I wish I purchased them for her much sooner. They look great on her feet and are comfortable on her feet all day long. She hasn't had any problems with them while wearing during recess.

I ordered a pair for my 3 year old daughter who has long narrow feet and another pair for my 5 year old daughter who has wide feet in the XW width and both of my girls were comfortable and looked great!

I have tried many kinds of school shoes for my now third grader who wears a uniform. They go on the playground at least twice a day in their school shoes. She sits on her feet a lot. She also yanks the strap across her foot harder than she should. She is an active 8 years old who should be a shoe tester! And these passed the test. We got 5 months out of these, wearing them 5 days a week all day, and that is a record. We are buying them again. Thank you for continuing to carry them!

My daughter wears these for school and they are comfortable and nearly indestructible. Great value!

These shoes were just the style and color we were looking for to go with a navy jumper. They are cute and will work well for everyday use.

We have ordered these since my daughter started going to school. They clean up well and are easy to polish. They have proven durable and are only replaced because she out grows them.

I bought these shoes for next school year, so I can't really speak to comfort and fit just yet, but my daughter was excited to see them and wanted to wear them right away. I am a loyal stride rite customer and these shoes do not appear to deviate from stride rite's quality and fit standards.

I simply love the shoes I ordered them for my granddaughter and I would recommend him to anybody. I actually got the shoes as promised but the size of the shoes were too small I called customer service they were wonderful.I recommend Zappos to anybody they are just the best and I truly mean that.

I order these shoes each year for my granddaughter's back-to-school wardrobe. Perfect with the school's navy uniforms!

This has been my daughter's go-to dress shoe since she was just barely past the toddler years. She's never been a "girly" girl, so the usual pink/sparkly/frilly shoes just do not work for her. This basic, classic Mary Jane has been, through multiple sizes, a great shoe for her. It looks nice with skirts/dresses but is definitely supportive enough for lots of walking, running, and generally being a kid. Sadly, when I tried to replace her outgrown pair with the next half-size up, she declared that she is "done with this style". Sigh. My little girl is, apparently, all grown up. But we have definitely gotten years of use out of this style, and I would not hesitate to recommend it anyone who wants a nice, well-made, good-quality Mary Jane for their little (and even not-so-little) girl!

I ordered these for my daughter who is in second grade and needed a basic, comfortable shoe to wear to school on the days where sneakers just wouldn't do. I wanted something that would look nice with all types of outfits and be comfortable and durable enough for recess play. My daughter loves Mary Janes and we have always bought Stride Rite brand brown ones in suede, but I could not find the suede style in her size. I was concerned, especially after reading so many reviews that paired these shoes mainly with school uniforms, that this leather would look too dressy for her basic cords and jeans. Not so! They are perfect for dress-up or dress-down days and my daughter loves them. She plays hard at recess and they have not scuffed at all. She says that they are very comfortable. My daughter has a wide foot with a high instep, so, as always, I ordered a wide. When I first saw them and when my daughter put them on, they looked narrower than the usual Stride Rite wide sizes. I still think they are a bit, but they are well made and bend in the right places with my daughter's foot so that they are actually a very comfortable perfect fit. I find that most Stride Rite shoes run about a half size bigger than other brands and knowing that, I ordered accordingly, and they are perfect with enough room for a little growth over the course of the school year. I recommend these for anyone who wants something basic and comfy, that is nearly as versatile as a sneaker, but attractive enough to go with pretty outfits so many little girls love to wear.

Our 10-yr old's "go to" shoe for her everyday school uniform. On her 3rd pair, as she out grows these shoes before she wears them out.

the shoes run big

We love this shoe. The rubber sole is great for the playground and the stitched leather panels make the shoe have style. This is the second year we have bought this shoe. Holds up all year and now it goes great with her kindergarten uniform.

Always have loved these shoes...they are true to size and look great! Very thankful. I am flat footed and these have no arch support so work perfectly for me.

These are a great school shoe. Works well with school uniform, sturdy, with plenty of cushion inside. Held up great all year. They do look better with periodic polishing. Just what we needed.
