I use it for everyday use. It's really cold and it wakes you very nicely.

This is a nice quality, very lightweight and packable jacket. I have many NF jackets myself and was hoping to give this as a gift. This jacket would be excellent for layering in the fall. Unfortunately I'm going to have to return it because I was looking for something a bit warmer for our chilly, snowy Wisconsin winters.

Glad I finally decided to buy one!

Try different cheaper brands before. But this jacket it's worth every penny.

I wear this jacket under a thick flannel on really cold days and still don't look like the Michelin man. Great overall jacket.

Great jacket. Have a thermoball vest that I use for bike commuting and I love that piece of clothing. It was time to buy a new 'puffy' jacket for a thru-hike next year and wanted a synthetic jacket. One: because the price is right and Two: because I can perspire quite a bit and who can predict weather? My vest always kept me warm even when sweating while biking. The nylon works well at fending off the wind and the fill dries quickly. It is easy to clean. I find the Sequia red very attractive. The fill does have a tendency to clump and settle into each little square pocket but it's not a big deal. You can massage the clumps out and redistribute them within the squares. The jacket stows really well in its own pocket. I really like TNF jacket.

I can't believe that how warm this sleek & thin jacket is... the Thermoball synthetic insulation is revolutionary. I'm from Toronto, Canada & it was -12C this morning (14 Dec 2016)... I was warm in this jacket with barely an undershirt & a dress shirt under it. Love this masterpiece... Got to try it out on the next ski trip. Everyone who lives in Winterville should own a piece :-)

This jacket is amazing! I use it all the time to walk my dog, and just go outside in the cold in general. The jacket is so light that you can barely feel it on, yet is able to keep you SO WARM!!! I have already told everyone I know about this jacket, and will continue to do so with a smile.
