I recently got this jacket about 2 weeks ago. I was looking for a nice lightweight jacket that I could wear in the chilly mornings on my way to school or work, to keep me warm, but not too warm as the Nuptse. This one is perfect as it's what I wanted. I got the black one, it's not heavy, has a nice look, and keeps my upper body warm. I liked this jacket so much I had buy the hoodie version to keep my face warm too. Honestly, I'm glad I got these! They're perfect for the weather here in the PNW

perfect fit, warm, great look

I bought these jackets for my husband and I as a early V'day gift. We went to NY two weeks ago, so early gifts huh? Lol The best part about all this was the outstanding customer service we received when our jackets were lost somehow on delivery. With our flight in less than 5 days, the reps I spoke with handle all our needs and got our replacement jackets here in time. They were well needed where we were, not only that the comfort feel of them...Thanks so much to the entire North Face team!!

I love this jacket. It's ridiculously light at no more than a pound, folds up into it's own pocket, is wind and water resistant, and most importantly, keeps me warm, on its own, down to the 30s. That being said, it's way, way oversized. I wear a medium to large in sweaters and jackets, but this, in medium, might as well have been an L or XL. I had to go into the North Face store and make sure I wasn't crazy, but the small fits me with room to spare. I order the small, which fit me well, with room to wear a hoodie or heavy sweater underneath. I was near incredulous, but order a size *down*.

Great for hiking

I pretty much despise wearing jackets/coats because they are always in the way. I usually have to take them off in car due to bulk and inside stores, etc because I get too hot. This jacket has been perfect. It takes out the chill of the wind and is light and compact enough to wear in the vehicle and I noticed that when wearing inside it didn't make me feel like I was suffocating. I love love love my jacket. I was never a believer in these products when I looked at price. After finally "taking the plunge", I'm a believer and am shopping for my next product.

This product is amazing. It is very light and packable, but keeps seals in the warmth. Sometimes, it seals in a little too much warmth! I've used it all winter in below freezing temperatures and it kept me nice and toasty. It fits true to size and is a wonderful jacket.

Warm, light and multiple colour choices...

I live in Florida and travel for work to colder states. I bought this jacket for those trips, but I found myself wearing it in Florida when it was in the 50s. It kept me very comfortable without getting all hot and sweaty, so I worried that it wouldn't be warm enough for Chicago winter weather. I found out I had nothing to worry about!! It kept me perfectly warm in 10-20s! Excellent product!!! I've recommended it to all my friends!

I love these jackets, not only for their lightweight packability, but also for the warmth. I always buy these jackets a bit larger than my usual size so I can wear a fleece and a small vest(also a lightweight Thermo ball) and this combination manage to keep me warm in below zero weather most of my ski day or even my general work day. I would recommend this product to all people who enjoy both winter and fall sports ,hiking, hunting fishing, or even camping. Even for the price this product is well worth and I would definitely buy another one.

This is now my favorite jacket for just about everything I do. Hiking, biking, or just hanging out with friends. Extremely light weight and surprisingly warm. Best purchase I have made all year!

This is a really nice jacket. The fit seems true and just relaxed enough to wear over a sweater or a couple of layers. Some I tried on seemed too snug in the shoulders and arms to allow this. I've worn the jacket in 20° temps and when there is no wind it keeps you surprisingly warm. The slick synthetic material does tend to get cold to the touch though. Would be cool to have a fleece lined version of this. But the look is good, it's warm and fits well. Have nothing negative to say about it.

My husband wore the coat and had so many people come up to him and say how nice he looked in it, that he wears it almost daily now.

This is my third North Face that I own. Not only is this coat warm during Michigan winter months but is extremely stylish. This coat wasnt available in this color in the stores so I was t sure if it would look as good in person as online and to my great surprise it was even better. I have already received so many compliments on the color and how unique it is.

Really like this jacket. It's perfect for everyday use and not too heavy. The material is very thin but keeps me warm.

I use the Thermoball as a mid-layer and I find it very warm. I usually wear it in the fall and spring under my mountain light shell. In the winter I add a medium or heavy fleece underneath (Nuptse fleece). Today it is 26 degrees F outside with a windchill of 15 degrees. I am running errands around town and I am very comfortable.

I bought as Christmas gift for adult Son-such a success for multiple uses, I surprised him with a 2nd in different color! It can be worn for any cool weather places and uses!

Overall just wanted a great jacket, light, and fashionable. For as light as it is you might think the amount you paid for this product might be to much. Once I tried this on you can realize what you paid for, warmth in style and lightweight. Everyday jacket for me, never gets hot, never out of style.
