This vest looks great on! It is the end of summer here in NJ so I cannot tell how warm it will be yet. I plan to wear the vest over a sweater in the fall and the beginning of winter when I run out to the store. I subtracted one star for the unknown. I also ordered the Nuptse 2 in black, a little thicker vest. That one also looks pretty nice on as well. I was never a vest person, so I will see how it goes this winter.

FYI: the products doesn't quite look like the picture. For instead, the Vest, it's an AWESOME Vest, WICKED colors, but I thought it would have been PUFF-FEE-ER, and it's thin.

The only reason that I gave this vest a 4 star rating is because it does not have a two-way zipper. This is a must in my book as the Thermoball vest is fitted and when you sit down, a little give is needed.

I wear my new vest constantly......around the house and under my winter coats for a walk outside. It is my "go-to" favorite vest in my closet and it looks great with PJ's too! This is a vest that you can wear every day and put over a shirt if you live farther south or put over a sweater and under a coat if you live up North. Love my thermoball!

Very nice looking vest, it is thin not as thick as the other North Face vests I have. But very nice looking and still warm.

Very attractive and different . I bought the large. It is a little tight in the bust. Runs long.

I have had this vest for about 2 weeks. It is very thin and comfortable. I gave it 4 stars since I have not tested the warmth factor. I choose the black with the gold thread. It is a nice twist on typical black but still looks great with most clothing (important since it is a vest). Since I am only 5'1", I wish NF offered petite sizes.

This is a beautiful vest, very thin and light in weight. It runs a little fitted so size up one size.

I bought two of these vests as I am in between sizes. I generally take a small in North Face vests. This year, the arm holes seem to be smaller so I had to size up to a medium. The small fits but the arm holes are snug with a long sleeved shirt underneath. I got the black with gold trim, love the look!

I really love the vest the only thing is I wish it was a little warmer like my others! But still love it!!!

I lost my black Lululemon vest last year and wanted a replacement. Since Lululemon did not make the same vest this year I turned to (tried and true) Northface. This vest did not disappoint. It's light, somewhat form fitting (true to size) and warm.

Got this in x-small and it is a great fit but I am slim. I could see how if someone is more pear shaped it could be a bit tight because for some reason past the waist it is tighter. Built more for a smaller athletic build. I like that it's longer and very packable. However, with it being so thin I wonder how warm it actually is. I live in WI so we'll see how warm it is in October when it starts getting chilly. Either way it's great as a layering piece while out.

Love this vest and it fits perfectly! Unfortunately, the lining is a MUCH brighter pink than the photo and it shows thru to the front at all the diamond stitching. I almost returned it, but I love everything else about it. I hope they correct this problem in the future.

This is a very nice, very sleek vest. It's warm, and the pattern is appealing. The only problem is that it's narrow in the hips and rather large in the bust - I think the shape would be hard for most people. I'm already shaped that way, and it was even more so than I am, so I bet a lot of normally wide-hipped people will return this.

Nice look but not a great fit. The drawstrings are inside the pockets, which is a feature that I don't care for. There are so many name brands to chose from, so NF needs to find new ways to stand out,

I'm often between a small and a medium, and that was the case for me with this vest: the small was too tight at the hips (a little stretch at the bottom hem might have done the trick!) and the medium was too big all around to work as a skiing midlayer, which was what I wanted it for. It's a nice vest, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others; it's just not the right fit for my particular shape.

I needed a down vest in this color and thought I'd give the ThermoBall a try. Unfortunately I'm returning it. I ordered a Small - I'm 5'5", 32C, pear athletic build and wear smalls in my tops. I felt the length could be a good few inches longer; it just looked and felt weird. There was also too much extra space in the chest area. And finally, I was hoping for something much warmer. On the bright side, I appreciated that there were cinches around the waist.

I love the comfort and style of this vest but was disappointed that it's not the pretty lavender blue I thought I was getting. It is a nice navy but definitely not the color pictured. Please avoid future customer disappointment by changing the online picture!

Great vest but color shows sort of lavender online and in reality is closer to dark blue/gray. Almost navy. Had to exchange.

I love the look and fit of this vest but it appears online as sort of a lavender/light purple but in actuality it's quite dark. More in the range of navy or dark gray. So unfortunately I will return it.

I didn't use the product yet, but when I tried it the size was too big, and the waist and chest size are not in sync, the size was big , I got a L but I guess I should have got M, I would appreciate if a clearer size charts are available... The weight is amazingly light and is important for traveling and back packing. The problem I had to travel after getting the package so I don't think I cant exchange them :(

I am surprised to find myself not so happy with my purchase. .....i had read previous reviews about how happy and warm was this vest! Not true! ....i wore my vest for a trip i had at lake tahoe recently and i found myself cold wearing this vest i had another one for NF and i missed it not bringing it with me!

My only complaint is that the black is way too shiny and my kids said I looked like I was wearing a garbage bag.

Super cute design, and I think that in a darker color I might have kept it. But in this color combination the pink lining bleeds through the seams and makes the material look damaged and cheap. Too bad, it was exactly what I needed, but I am sending it back.
