They are very comfortable and breathable. They felt a little small on me but that is probably because I enjoy wearing them with large socks in the winter. I got a half size above what I normally wear. They have great traction. I wouldn't say they are not the cutest shoes however they are excellent in snowy weather and icy conditions.

These are lovely. They look (and are) real suede and look nice. Some leather boots, and to my eye, all the fake leather ones from China look really chintzy. You can walk in slush and snow with the lugged bottom, but they are not heavy. Look good with dresses or pants. My only complaint is they need to punch more holes in the little leather strap that goes across the ankle and buckles, but that is easy to do or have a shoe smith do. The foot bottom has good arch support and a reasonable amount of cushioning for those of us with the need. These fit much better than the Clarks boots (and I like their shoes) and much better footbed.

Good boots! I wanted comfortable, waterproof boots with a bit of style, and these are the ones for me. They fit true to size, though the toe box has taken several wearings to feel completely comfortable. They were comfortable enough out of the box, but I like a bit of wiggle room for the toes. Super versatile for my style, they look good with pants, jeans, skirts, and dresses, and keep my feet dry.

These are beautiful boots. I get positive comments from friends. Earthy yet simple street chic...my style. They do scuff a bit but like the Outback look! I got the short boot in Bison and the tall boot on spring online sales I like them so much. I need to wear a comfortable, supportive shoe and these are great feeling.

Awesome boots. Although not quite as high up on the leg as I originally wanted, these boots are really comfortable and of good quality. Practical tread and waterproof leather, but enough style to feel like you look good!

These are my absolute favorite boots. They fit true to size - are so comfortable - look great - and hold up in rain and snow and all kinds of weather! I just saw that they went on sale and plan to buy another pair for whenever these wear out!

I love these. They are so comfortable and stylish. Soft leather and plenty of room for women with large calves, which is a difficult find! And I gather from other reviews not so much appreciated by women who don't have large calves.

I bought one pair of these after trying on in a store. I decided I would need a half size larger than usual. After wearing for awhile, I liked them so much, I bought another pair in another color. I am glad I did with the bad winter weather this year. I wear them with skinny jeans so I can zip the boots over my jeans. I have only worn thin socks with them and my feet are warm.

My one complaint is that (like Amanda from Brooklyn), I also think that the zipper sticks out. I'm not sure why Teva designed the zipper this way. It's pretty distracting. Why doesn't the zipper wrap more towards the back of the calf rather than wrap towards the front, making the zipper very noticeable? I would have kept these shoes were it not for the zipper (in every other way they are GREAT!). I am, sadly, returning them.

I have the black and I love them! I am tall and have muscular calfs and have struggled for years to find boots that fit that do not look cheap. These are perfect for me. I will add an insert for more arch support due to heel spurs. Everything else is really just what I wanted...

I really love these boots, have a hard time finding comfortable boots, but these are very comfortable. I can wear them all day at work, then walk in them to an event later in the evening. Am thinking of getting black mid calf as a second pair. I also get many compliments about them. Very happy! I got these boots through EMS.

Love these boots! I ordered the wrong size initially and had to return them. I called customer service and was amazed at how easy returns are. They sent a new pair, which arrived lightning fast. I didn't have to wait until they received the first pair, like everyplace else. Zappos is the best!

I am so happy with this purchase. I've walked through slushy snow and still have dry warm feet. While these don't have any insulation the lining gives them some warmth and I'm happy I can still wear them through the cool rainy spring season. These were comfortable for me out of the box which is so rare for me because I have bunions and breaking in shoes is usually very painful. I did order a 7.5 instead of a 7 to leave room for heavy socks and luckily this helped with the width issue as well without making these boots feel too big. The footbed does have a good amount of cushion, which is really nice because I live in the city and do a ton of walking. My only complaints about these boots would be that the zipper sticks out a bit funny in the front and the heel is very stiff. I am worried that will start to rub but I can see how it gives them their structure and think heavy socks will help. Overall, the color, texture and look is the best for the price and how practical they are for both comfort and being waterproof. I really looked high and low and am so happy to have found these boots!

These are excellent boots! They are very comfortable; easy on and off; stylish with many outfits. I bought these boots to replace my old Teva boots which I have completely worn out! My old Teva boots held up under very tough conditions which is why I knew these new Teva boots would do the same!

Comfortable, cute, casual boot. There is a small gap at the top between my calf and the top edge of the boot, but it doesn't look weird. They keep my feet warm and dry!

I got the black boots and love them. At first, they felt tight (narrow) but after just a few wlks with them, they stretch perfectly. They look casually fancy.

Love these boots! I was looking for riding boots that were comfortable, good for walking, have decent tread, and look good with jeans or a dress. These meet all of those criteria! I've walked 1-2 miles daily in these since they arrived, and there wasn't a need to break them in. Another thing I wanted from these boots was for them to be water repellent. I have not yet experienced weather to try this out, but I do believe they will be more waterproof than my last pair of cheapo boots because they are a quality boot.

I ordered several styles of black boots for my daughter to try. Ultimately, this pair by Teva was the winners. They fit well, not too high, just large enough in circumference (for wider calfs), nice looking, with the bonus features of good traction and weatherproofing (for midwest winter where she attends college). The arch location seems a bit far back.

Amazingly comfortable straight out of the box, and so cute. The cognac color was perfect-- not too red, not too dark. I have wide feet and need a little arch support, and these miraculously had both (hence marking too wide). They're expensive, but I think worth it; these boots seem sturdy enough to last years and years.

I was looking for a matte black boot that was a little taller than mid-calf and waterproof. This boot is that and more! I am short- around 5'2, but this boot is still a flattering length. VERY flexible; I wore these babies playing laser tag for 5 hours, and didn't have a problem. No sweaty feet or weird rubbing/blisters, so it gets the winning review. I usually wear a 8.5 in running shoes, but I can still wear thicker athletic socks with this boot without feeling too cramped. Haven't tried merino wool/snow socks, but my guess is it may be a little tight. For wider calves, this boot does get larger, and I can comfortably wear skinny jeans without widening the boot. I hope this boot wears for years and years.

I love my boots! They are comfortable, fit well, especially with thicker socks. I have very high arches and there is enough room to fit my inserts comfortably. I am very happy with my purchase. Shipping was FAST! Very happy customer here!

Just got these yesterday and I don't want to take them off. I wanted a stylish boot that I could wear while traveling Germany in the winter. These will be perfect because they are waterproof and very comfortable with tread. I have average calves and they fit perfect even with a pair of skinny jeans tucked in. Also feel like I won't have to break them in. IN LOVE!

I love the style. The shaft is very wide with and extra soft panel that expands even more. If you have great calves these are for you.
