European Vacation Boot With a lot of walking, I look for a pair of boots that will be stylish and supportive. These boots have been great on the streets of Paris and London. I typically wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 for space for thicker socks and they worked out great. For a petite person (5'1) these also are not too high. The only draw back sometimes is with tucking jeans in. Hopefully once they are softer they wont pinch, but they can if the jeans are not tucked right. Color looks great with blacks and browns

I have been wearing these boots for several months now and I love them. The leather is very soft and definitely waterproof. They are sturdy and warm, but do not make my feet hot. I have wide feet but there was plenty of room in the 8.5 and I even put my half length support inserts in these. Great boot for rain and snow!

I had my eye on these for awhile and when they went on sale I jumped on it! I ordered the gray to replace an old pair of born boots that didn't look appropriate for the office anymore. These were immediately comfortable and worked well for my 15 1/2 inch calves and my thin feet with high arches. They were comfortable without insoles but even more comfortable when I added the insoles. Definitely worth the wait! The material is a little bit stiff but I think it's going to get even more comfortable as they break in.

I loved these boots, but noticed the straps were missing an eye and did not stay snug. I ordered 1/2 size larger since I have a wide foot. They fit great, just were missing the eye to hold the strap. T

Great boots! I tend to find my calf size to be between most wide-calf boots and normal-calf boots and these are perfect! They have some give at the top. Slightly stiff in the ankle, but I'm trusting they'll mellow with age. Waterproofness and good tread were selling points for me. They're not as shiny as most leather boots which I liked because they don't scuff as easily and can look dressy or casual depending on the outfit.

My calf is exactly 16" and wear between a 9/9.5 and ordered the 9.5. My feet are a bit on the wide side as well, but these boots fit well. I could zip it up with no problem, even with jeans. It was really wide in the ankle area even on my thicker ankles. It's possible to adjust the strap around the ankle down, but you would have to create the holes to secure it. The leather is very stiff but I'm sure would soften over time. In the end these boots look more functional than fashionable than I'm after so I'll return them. I'm keeping the Keen Bern Baby Wide Calf instead.

Size chart is spot on. Fit perfectly, comfy and go with everything.

This is my second pair of Teva boots. I am always happy with the fit and style. It is like they were made just for me! I stepped right into these although the leather was a little stiff and I did wonder if maybe they were not going to fit but once I worked my foot into the shoe part, it was like "Ahhhh...yes!" I am still working on the zipper as there are sections to the leather design and it has a tendency to stall at each transition but once I get them on, I can wear them comfortably all day long. I even wore them to walk to a restaurant and back home - no blisters, irritation or rubbing!

These are incredibly comfortable, right out of the box. I live in the Pacific Northwest and need a dependable pair of rain boots. I am 5'8" with a long torso and short legs; these hit at the right spot and somehow make my short legs look longer, which is practically unheard of. There is just enough room to tuck in jeans without getting any of that weird bagginess at the knees that happens with too-tight boots. If you have calves that are generous in size, but under the mark for the "wide calf" boots then these will likely work for you, too.

I love these boots and get many compliments! They're comfortable and I can put my orthopedic insert in them and then they are even better for my feet!

Exactly what I was looking for! I like the muted black color, so it plays well dressed up or down. The insole cushioning is very pleasant. And the side zippers make it nice and easy to put on and take off. Already have a few marks on them from walking up concrete steps, but they rub out almost completely. Makes me a little skeptical about the waterproofing too, not sure I actually want to test that out...

These boots are versatile and comfortable. They did fit on the smaller size though so you might need a half size larger.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter. I liked that the boots are waterproof and have a pretty rugged/grippy sole. She likes the style and described the insole as being cushy. I hope they wear well. They seem very well made.

Love these boots! I was looking for a casual, stylish, waterproof boot to walk around the city, and these fit the bill perfectly. I usually wear a 6/6W, and the 6.5 fits well with a thicker sock. I can fit my skinny jeans in the boot too, and I consider myself to have "athletic" calves - I've tried other teva's of similar style before and they were too tight in the calf for me. The boots were definitely stiff when I first got them, and did feel like they might rub around the ankle as I had read in other reviews, but after a few days they softened a lot and are extremely comfortable to walk in. I can absolutely recommend these!

I really like these boots. I've been on the hunt for boots just like these for a long, long time, but could not find a pair that would fit over my calves. I don't have huge calves, but they aren't tiny either and this pair of boots actually still gives me room for skinny jeans, and then a little. They are beautifully made and I think they will hold up well. I'm really excited! Finally, I have found the boots I have been searching for!!!! And thank goodness the size is true to size. That was a plus. Thanks to Zappos for making this a risk worth taking :)

These are my absolute favorite boots! They are so comfortable and perfect for so many different types of outfits. I even wear these to work in the winter/fall months. They are extremely well made, I think I bought mine 3 years ago (maybe more) and they are still in great shape. I love them so much I had every intention of buying them again once these wore out but that has never happened! If you're on the market for a one boot to fit all situations look no further!

I love these boots! They feel like they have gel inserts, they are so comfy. The arch support is just medium, but they are very comfortable to walk in. I like the matte finish too. They are more on the practical than dressy side, fyi. Good for slush and snow.

These are very nice boots. They are true to size, I wear a 5B and they were fine around the calf. While I am 5 feet tall and 103, I do have large calves so they were comfortable. The only reason I am returning them is that I found something similar at a less expensive price point.

Absolutely fabulous boots! I debated for a while and am glad I finally bought them. They are a distressed brown, so a little less dressy, but gorgeous. The buckle details, the elastic vent for calf sizing and the almost flat heel make them perfect for fitting well, very wearable for long walks or a day on your feet and definitely stylish with a skirt or skinny jeans. My new favorite shoes!

I am in love with these boots! They are worth every single penny. I have problem feet...bunions, tendinitis in my Achilles tendons, multiple foot and ankle surgeries. I also have slightly wide calves (about 15" circumference) and I'm picky about fashion, so I've had a tough time finding boots that are attractive and fit properly/are comfortable. I almost gave up until I found these Tevas! As other reviewers have mentioned, the heel is a little stiff at first, but all I had to do was squeeze/push on them a little with my hands to loosen them up, and I put on thick socks and wore them around the house for a few hours to soften them up and they're just fine now! For reference, I'm 5'6" and these hit me slightly higher than mid-calf. The leather is a flat finish, which I love. I've since walked around town for hours at a time and my feet don't hurt at all! Buy them! You won't be sorry!

After trying numerous boots from Zappos, these really worked for me. The boots are a little snug near the ankle when you put your foot in, but then zip up easily and are a good fit. I also like that they fit well around the calf, are not too roomy which was an issue for me with many boots. They have a really comfortable footbed and I was able to wear them all day the first day with no problems.

Love these boots. I have a small frame and am only 5' 2" with athletic (large calves) and have had an impossible time finding boots that would work for me. These boots hit almost 4" below my knee so I don't feel like it chops my height in half. The quality and color are excellent. I most appreciate that the boot has a slim line look and not the typical wide calf look. I also have thicker ankles and these boots camouflage any hint of them. If you have super thin legs they may not work for you. I've had them on for the last few hours and they are totally broken in and comfortable. Great tread on the bottom and a nice hidden fold at the top for comfort and expansion. Simply awesome boots!
