The Brooks Addiction 11 is a quality shoe that has all-day comfort. I stand 10-12 hours per day and find these perfectly comfortable. I have an prescription orthotic insole and it works fine in these shoes though they do feel 1/4 inch too shallow with the insole inserted. My New Balance 990v3s handled it better. My wife likes the styling and commented that these looked a lot better than my New Balance shoes. I usually wear 2EE from New Balance. 2EE from Brooks feels a bit narrow. I will try 4EE next time. The shoe laces are a bit short. I may have to buy longer ones. After my feet are in and laced up, there is barely enough lace left to tie these. Another 5" (2.5" per side) would have been nice.

I wanted a Brooks running shoe in Black and would have bought a more expensive one if available. Had to return this one due to improper fit.

The transaction was excellent! Once I found the correct size, my most difficult part of the search, the rest flowed smoothly. Delivery was prompt; shoe was as ordered.

High quality, comfortable shoe. Excellent for heavier runners, good support and cushioning. Strange lacing pattern, Brooks trying to be cute, apparently, with the last lace eye off-center, don't care for it. Bought in EE width, wasn't quite as wide as I was expecting, though. Overall very good for serious runners.

Overall a great shoe. Been through about 20 pairs of similar Brooks shoes over the past 15+ years. These are my 'dusty trail' shoes and work very well for that purpose. I wear a 12 1/2 4E and these run true to size. With this most recent order: the first pair I received held up to about 20 miles or so before they started losing stitching where the toe piece is sewn on to the side. Hopefully this was an anomaly. My normal 5-star review is getting knocked down to 4 overall due to the defect.

I have a narrow foot and have been wearing New Balance (B width) for as long as I can remember. The have not felt as comfortable as in the past, so I decided to give these a try. The first pair I ordered was sized 10.5 and my toes rubbed against the front of the shoe. When I compared them to my New Balance running shoes (which are also a size 10.5), I could clearly see that the Brooks were much shorter. I ordered size 11.5 and they fit very well. It's interesting to note that I wear a size 10 Narrow Rockport shoe. These don't feel as snug around the heel as the New Balance, but otherwise they are very comfortable. I going to give them a try and see how well the hold up in long run.

This is a men's shoe, but as I have had foot surgery, I need the extra width provided only in men's shoes. The underside of the insole is such "soft" rubber that putting in my orthotic is always a struggle. Plus the insole fits so tightly into the alotted space that I am tempted to cut off a half-inch in the toes. I highly recommend talking to Customer Service to get the correct size.

I have been buying Brooks Addiction shoes for 10 years now, same size each time. They have helped tremendously with plantar fasciitis. These shoes felt smaller (too short). My toes were touching the end of the shoe. I usually wear 10 2E. I'm not sure if they are a half size too small or a whole size. I am returning the size 10 and ordering a 10.5 and an 11, and will try both to see which fits better.

These are comfortable (i.e. wide enough), and look OK, though they could use less white and silver. The only actual problem is that for size 28cm wide, the laces are far too short. I can barely tie them in a single know, let alone a double knot. I have been searching for longer laces that would actually match the sneakers to no avail, so even though they are comfortable, I barely wear them because of the laces.

When the Brooks Adrenaline was redesigned recently, it no longer fit my foot properly so I tried the Addiction. Previous versions of this shoe didn't fit like the Adrenaline but I was willing to try it again just in case. So glad I did! This shoe has lots of cushion under my feet, it is wide enough in a 4E size and the gray color palate doesn't scream like some other athletic shoe combinations. Gals with large feet who need to order guys sizes appreciate neutral colors along with a proper fit! Now if they could just make the tongue wide enough to match the show size...someday.

I like the style and support, but the foot platform seems to tilt outward rather than being level; as if built to correct pronation. That seems to be why my toes hit the inside top of the shoe, even thought the length is okay. Returning them to search again for a narrow shoe that actually fits.

I will never go back to Brooks Adrenaline series. My first Brooks were the Adrenaline 12s and they were amazing and when I needed new work shoes I purchased the Adrenaline 14s. They are a poorly designed shoe and felt terrible from start to finish. But the Brooks Addiction 11s, now this is what you call a real shoe. I love them. I use them as my walking shoes. I recommend that you buy these over the stupid Adrenaline series. The only bad thing I can say about the shoe is that it does not feel like a 4E shoe. I would have to say more like a 2E.

These are good shoes; however, be sure to take into account that they will prove to be on the narrow side which can squeeze the feet and becoming uncomfortable throughout the day.

The shoes seem to be well made. The fit is on par. They are very breathable shoes and my feet feel cool while wearing them. I realize that these are designed for support, but they are hard as rocks! I installed Hydro feet insoles just to make them livable. They are also uncomfortable in the arch area but I have fairly flat feet. I can wear them semi comfortably and hope they will get a little better with use.

My feet are not the same, and I have to say that this pair fit best on one side, middling on the other. They work well for running, plenty of support.

Nice built in arch support. Solid construction. I love these 14-4E Brooks shoes! My podiatrist recommends them and stated that they cancel/replace the need for the costly inserts!

Very good shoe. Well made. I have been very pleased overall. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a little more padding in the sole of the shoe.

Comfortable, non restrictive and nice flow in motion. This shoe felt lighter and has less of a foot print than the Beast model. Very happy with this product so far.

Thought we would try a different style of Brooks for a change. However, these seem a tad narrower than my regular Addictions, with moderate arch support (?). Not really a bad shoe, but I believe I will stick with my regular walking Addictions. My wife seems pleased with her "new" style. Please note: We only buy Brooks anymore. They are a quality shoe for the money--offering a variety of widths, sizes and styles, while other brands seem to only have one or two widths in a variety of sizes.

I have narrow feet and these shoes were way too wide. I bought a narrow size and the width of the sole was simply way too big.

I'm returning because I've decided I would rather have a full gel pad in the front and the back. While these shoes seem to fit well. however the longer I wore them the tighter the left shoe became.It could be the neuropothy in my left foot acting up.

Shoes are nice color and not "loud" and weird like the newer Asics shoes. Compared to my trusty Asics shoes, these were shorter in length (44), narrow for a D width and not as much support in the heel as other shoes I have ordered. I surely wish the GT 2000 came back with more of a "neutral" color scheme instead of these loud colors that I find quite like a gimmick and probably will be a fad.

Although I find this to be a very attractive, light shoe, the lace length provided is ridiculous. My father, who must order two different sized shoes to accommodate a light plastic brace, would not be able to tie either one because there wasn't enough room to make an adequate 'bow'. He seemed to be comfortable enough, but I believe they ran slightly smaller than normal as well.

I have bought two previous versions of the Brooks Addiction in size 10 M and they fit perfectly. This one is just a little too short and too narrow. Major bummer! Beware.

I have had three pair of these shoes. They have been the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. I run three to four miles a day and they have been very durable. Here is the problem. I have been wearing 12½ of this identical shoe for years. They still fit me perfectly. However, I just ordered a new pair of 12½. They were so short that I could barely get my foot in them. I returned them with the great Zappos service and got a size 13. My toes were touching the end. This is ridiculous to have such a large change in size. My foot has not changed any and when I had it measured at a store recently it was a 12. I saw where other customers have had the same problem.
