Absolutely stellar shoe. For the first time since I can remember, I don't rush to take my shoes off the second I get home!. They breathe extremely well, which can lead to cold toes in the winter, but you fall in love with them in the summertime.

I recieved them 4 days after ordering (one of the days was Sunday) and they feel amazing! Ive had sketchers work shoes, Nike work shoes and magnum work shoes and these feel the best.

I have worn New Balance for years to fit my 10.5 4E, high arch, narrow heal, feet,,and the need for good cushioning. NB has been failing me in the past year, particularly in actual size/fit, and poor cushioning. These Brooks Addictions are absolutely perfect! I could rave for a long time, but suffice to say, I could not do any better than these. Interestingly, my daughter recently visited, did not know she inherited her feet from me, saw her Addictions, and her comment was they are perfect and has been wearing them for years. So, that makes two if us that highly recommend them. In fact, I told her about Zappos, and she ordered some new ones that night. Zappos and Brooks Addictions, what a combo!

This is the first time I have purchased shoes online. Went to the Brooks website and found nothing. Their selection was extremely limited. Went to Zappo's website and boom! Not only did they have a wide selection of Brooks shoes, they had the size 14 I wear in this type of shoe. The only reason I don't buy shoes online is that different brands and styles aren't always the size that fits. I can wear comfortable size 12 shoes depending on the style. I just wanted another pair like the ones I purchased in a store a year ago. So my biggest concern buying a shoe I haven't tried on first is that the size will be wrong. I may try Zappo's again but first I will go to a store and make sure the size fits the style and brand.

My first try at Brooks shoes. Great fit and cushioning (I work on my feet all day). I wear 4e width and used to wear New Balance, but their quality has gone way downhill over the years. These Brooks look like they will last.

I have previously owned a couple of versions of the Beast, and the Glycerin 10 and 11. When it comes to fit and durability, i have always liked this brand. The Glycerins are OK for working out, but do a lot of long walks, and I wanted a shoe more like the Beast with lots of control and support for my flat feet. This shoe is fantastic right out of the box. Can't wait to get on the road with them. I need to qualify what I say here about size... I don't know what is going on with athletic shoes, because I used to wear size 12s for sneakers and dress shoes. Now I wear 13 for sneakers, but still 12 for most everything else. Also, I selected EE width because some other Brooks I tried on felt a bit snug up front, and to ensure room for orthotic. So, all that said, I guess this is the new "normal" on size.

Fits perfectly for the size/width I ordered; all the Addiction shoes do. I've had 9, 10, now 11 and the Walkers are equally true to size/width. This is comfortable, both for walking long distances and for treadmill and bike workouts. They breathe so feet don't get hot. Pliable yet supportive; no break in period needed. I have a bunion and it doesn't cause any problem with these. Laces give lots of options for various needs. I'll keep buying this brand/model.

For those of you w/serious over pronation issues this shoe is absolutely nirvana! I'm totally flat footed and have been since birth. I also have a wide foot as well as FM (fibromyalgia) which can wreak havoc w/joints. With all of that being said, it's pretty obvious I have a difficult time finding shoes that provide me w/comfort for my joints as well as support for my non-existent arches and I've found exactly that with this shoe. I'm SO COMMITTED to this shoe that this is my 2nd pair in 5 YEARS. I stress 5 years because that's how long I wore my first pair before I felt they needed replaced. Paying this cost for a single pair of shoes is difficult but when they last 5 years it's most definitely worth it. The stability I get when wearing these shoes is unbelievable and the arch support is good, sturdy & strong w/o being invasive to the point of causing discomfort. When I wear these shoes I feel like I can walk forever which is a marvelous thing! Again, the cost for a single pair of shoes is a bit high but extended over a 5 year life... Well... Who wouldn't be happy w/paying less a year for a fantastic pair of shoes! If you love your feet then treat them to the best support you'll ever feel in a pair of shoes!

Great stability/support shoe, especially for big frame people. I've owned this model since gen 6 and it's my shoe of choice. Hard to find in my size though.

Very happy with the shoe. Started wearing Brooks Tennis shoes maybe 18 years ago. Wouldn't have anything else.

This is a great shoe. Fits perfectly. Feels incredibly comfortable. Absorbs the shock of my walking and light running.

This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. It's well made, and supports the foot as it should. I have been using Brooks Addiction since they came out. Any changes they have made to the shoe over the years have been an improvement. I replace the shoe about every six months because as it ages it no longer supports the foot as it should. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who likes comfort and is on their feet all day.

Brooks Addictions are the best shoes I have ever worn. I wear either the running or walking shoe everyday. They are so supportive I no longer have to wear orthotics, which is a huge relief. They are terrific shoes.

I usually where Brooks Beast but didn't like the current colors or the price tag. These feel just as supportive. Excellent service as always.

These are by far the best running shoes that I have purchased! They fit my giant feet (mens 15W) like a glove and take no time breaking in. I have had Nikes and they fell apart way too quickly and then I had some New Balance 120s but the soles were too thick and the rubber, I guess, is so tough that it took at least two months to break in on the track. The Brooks Addiction 11 held up very well on the track, ditch, and in the gym for a whole year and now it's time to replace them. I am here on the site ordering my second pair and I figured this would be the perfect time to write my first review.

Best gym shoe I've ever owned. Very comfortable and strong support while walking or running. As always, Zappos service was second to none.

For years I only bought New Balance. Not because I found them to be comfortable and supportive and long lasting. But, At the time, they were pretty much the only company that made a 4E width. After years of wearing NB and suffering from sore feet I really needed a change. Then, one day I was in the store and they didn't have the NB style I wanted. The clerk asked me if I ever tried on a pair of Asics. I did and I was sold, they were much more comfortable and fit better than NB. After years of wearing Asics and even recommending them, I realized I wasn't real fond of them after all. Although they were very light, they didn't last very long, they tore very easily, and were not real comfortable. So, again I thought it was time for a change. Bought a pair of these Brooks Addiction 11 after reading the reviews. I was very impressed! I can honestly say that these sneakers are the most comfortable, and supportive, and well constructed that I've ever owned! I will only be buying Brooks from now on. I want to wear them to bed they are so comfortable. Folks, if you've never tried on a pair of Brooks, I strongly recommend that you do.

This is the 2nd pair of Brooks Addiction I purchased for my son. He has big wide feet, size 16! It is hard finding shoes for him that fit well and are comfortable. We usually buy New Balance but they do not hold up as well as these Brooks. This brand was a suggestion from Zappos and I am so grateful they did!

These arrived the day before we left for Denver to watch and walk The BMW Championship. 72 holes...comfort the whole time. I'll buy again.

Good news is: they are JUST like the 4 other pairs my husband has loved before! These and the Brooks Addiction Walkers are the ONLY shoes that fit his super narrow foot in size 12 1/2. THANK YOU BROOKS from my happy husband!

I am a big runner (6' 3, 220 lbs) with narrow, flat feet. I am getting ready for a marathon this fall and have always had knee issues...until I tried these shoes. They do what they are advertised to do. I wish they came in better colors but that is a small price to pay for having a great pair of shoes.

Normally use in the Brooks Beast. This shoe is a lighter, a bit less expensive, but still very comfortable.

Got a12.5 4e - they fit great! The laces are actually long enough too. Nice solid shoe, not as bouncy as some shoes but very sturdy. Would get again as long as they don't make it any smaller, like they did with the Beast.

Lots of cushion and support in these shoes. They are much more than I wanted to pay for a shoe, but I felt that it was safer to take care of my feet rather than risk an injury or sore body parts later (not including my feet).

I had been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline shoe but I find the Addiction 11 to have more support for long periods of walking. I have the Addiction Walking shoe (in black) but I wanted something to wear with shorts and jeans in the summer and these look great. Another important factor is that these shoes come in a narrow width and any guy who has narrow feet know how hard it can be to find shoes. Thanks Zappos!
