It's nice to look at and warm, however it's strangely sized. Medium usually is loose on me, but this coat in M is a bit constricting. The biggest disappointment: the feathers start coming out after 3 wears

Couldn't zip it up! Otherwise the coat seemed great, but zipper was poor quality. Should have believed the other reviews. I returned it.

This is my third Marmot coat and quality seems to have changed drastically since my last one. I've had my new Montreaux for less than a week and already the lining has torn, there are feathers coming out, and the zipper is a real challenge. I picked out this coat after not fitting into my Montreal coat anymore after having a baby, thinking the quality and warmth would be the same; sadly not the case

I had wanted a Marmot coat for a long time because I thought they were very warm and to face the harsh winters in the New England area, USA, you need a good coat. However, I was very disappointed with this purchase because it was not even below freezing temperatures and I could feel the cold coming through the coat, especially in the arms and I was wearing a thermal shirt and a sweater. No way does this coat have 700 Fill Power Down. I have a coat from another brand that has 500 Fill Power Down and I don't feel cold when I wear it in extreme temperatures. The hood of the coat is poorly designed because when you remove the fur it does not cover your entire head and if you leave the fur it covers almost your entire face. The only thing I liked was the color and the length. I wanted to return it but I made the mistake of removing the tag as soon as I took it out of the bag. I do not recommend this brand.

I received this in a size small as a gift (based on the other two mermaid coats, that I own in a size small), but it was too tight across the chest and shoulders. That's surprising, because I'm small chested (5'7", 139#, 32B) with an average/somewhat athletic build. With the help of a very kind and professional customer service rep, I was able to return and re-ordered a coat and a medium. It arrived this week, and I couldn't be more disappointed. I look like a popped tube of biscuits. The shoulders fit exactly (not roomy), but the rest of the coat is huge. I'll be sending it back. I tried to add photos of both the small and medium, but couldn't get them to upload.

I wanted to love this coat and was so excited about it, but unfortunately the main zipper was super finicky and difficult to zip. It could take me a minute or two of trying just to get it to work. I was so disappointed because for a coat that costs over $300 I’d expect a higher quality.

I loved the puffy softness, but I had to send it back. The zipper was really hard to engage and use as many reviews stated. The coat had a straight cut and was tight around my middle section. Most large or X-Large items fit fine, but this was too tight to want to wear with clothes layered under it. I was very sad to have to send it back as it is a nice comfy coat.

I liked this coat, but noticed feathers coming out of the sleeves even as I was taking it out of the box.

Armpits are so tight so I returned it! Otherwise I wold have loved it.

I'm on my 2nd jacket of this style all because the zippers keep breaking. The zippers on the hood broke too. I'm so upset.

I ordered up based on the reviews, however, I should have considered the model size recommendations since I was close to that. I ordered up and that was too large. Returning for a smaller size since I love the feel and weight.

I like this coat and it fits well but it will not stop shedding. It's been several weeks and it seems the shedding is getting worse. A great disappointment.

Gear returned over a month back and still no sign of refund being processed

Marmot makes narrow coats but it is soft and comfortable. Tight in chest and hips but what is the worst is the ZIPPER! Please make a coat with an easy zipper as fighting with this -well, it’s being returned.

Beautiful coat, but all the reviews about non working zip that gets stuck are right. Amazing that you can create a lovely coat but can't get the zip right. Sending back.

The Zipper WON'T ZIP!!!!! I SPENT THE FIRST 15 MINUTES, right out of the box TRYING TO ZIP THE COAT UP WITH NO LUCK!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I AM 5' 4 AND 125 LBS The medium is too tight!! so for both reasons I have to return the coat.

the zipper is the worst--there's no way to quickly put it on or take it off so WHATS THE POINT OF A COAT IF YOU CANT ZIPPER IT

Huge arms and shoulders relative to trunk. Something was wrong with zipper, couldn’t get it closed in under 10 mins. The two zipper parts don’t align. Very disappointed and returning.

I ordered a berry wine (looked like hot pink) Marmot Montreax (knee length) coat in XL. I got a burgundy coat in Medium (at least that’s the size coat I bought my mom, from another brand. I reordered in XXL, though I have never worn XXL. I am 5’8” and 195 lbs, and everything fit ok but the chest. I’m a 38E-F, but I have never had trouble buying coats because of it, as they usually run larger in the shoulders. My mom is 5’3”, 125 lbs., 34B. The coat is not even a little loose on her. I hope the XXL fits. I have a Size L Michael Kors coat that fits fine.
