Much more narrow than the other previous Nimbus models. Also shorter in the toe area. Very cushioned ride but too narrow to consider very comfortable.Ok for short runs 2-4 miles but not for longer distance. I'm glad to be retiring this pair of shoes after 6 months. Very glad the Nimbus 16 seem more true to the old Nimbus sizing and performance. Just ordered the new model.

Love the shoes, even the colors. They fit my narrow heel with wide toe base very well. I did order one-half size larger & would order one whole size larger next time.

I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. I have not worn Asics in about 8 years because finding a wide became impossible in the local stores. Ok so to get to the point these shoes are extremely comfortable and are truly a wide width shoe! Thank you Asics! I bought an 11 because I wear a 10.5 and wanted to make sure they fit but they are still to small, other than that I like them even though I will be returning them for a bigger size.

These are great shoes. They run very small. Had to get a 13w instead of the usual 12.5w. Still is a little short but can make do. They have lots of cushion and almost feel a little to soft to begin with. They do not breathe as well as some Asics and my feet feel hot at times. They are not an instant out of the box love but they get better with wear. The colors are great. They are the best I can find in the Asics line since the gt2160's. I am able to at least wear them and i have a closet full of Asics that i can not use due to turf toe.

Great shoe but runs small. Glad I read some of the other reviews. I have the nimbus 12s in size 11 and they need replacing. I tried some of the other aside, but ended up going back to these. I ordered a half size larger, 11.5, and they just fit, so I'm glad I ordered up. The color choices are terrible, I got the lightening silver/ orange and it's more of a silver and hot pink. Pretty hideous, but they fit and are comfortable, so I'll deal with it.

I saw the reviews and thought that this would be the shoe for me. I do 45 minutes of cardio a day at the gym. My feet pronate and I'm flat-footed so I need a stable shoe that can handle my inserts. I'm usually a 10&1/2-11 in Asics and the 11 was perfect. I ordered the Wide (D) and it was still too small. The outer sides of my feet irritate easily. I don't have tailor-bunions yet but will if I'm not careful. I'm returning these for a **hopefully** even wider size. My last Asics were mens and I'd prefer not to have to order those as the heel is not narrow enough.

I've worn ASICS for years, specifically, the Nimbus. This model (15) runs small compared to previous models. The cushioning also seems different, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and am hoping the 1/2 size larger will fit correctly.

If you are looking for super-squishy cushioning in the heel and top of foot, these are your shoe. If you need ultra cushioning in the front under the ball of the foot, they are only a tiny bit above average in cushioning. (However, I have been wearing Asics 2160's for awhile, and did not realized how spoiled I was by their fab forefoot cushioning which I need for neuropathies.) These Nimbus are also rather round and appear just a bit bulky, but they are saved by the fact that they have the latest neon colors and trims. They are also rather lightweight, in spite of appearance. I will keep them and wear them for my 12-hour shifts alternating with my 2160's. I got the silver-gray with orange and pink trim. They are bright and up-to-date in color without screaming gaudy.

Nimbus is a good shoe, but it's a lot of support for neutral. I wear orthotics, and after opening a couple pairs of Nimbus 15 I'm still unsure if they work for me. The ride is very cushy and flexible at the same time. My criticism is the shoes don't conform to your foot as you take steps as much as Brooks Ghost or Mizuno Wave Rider. The features are durability are solid, and quality isn't an issue. The biggest question is whether you need this much support. If you don't wear orthotics and you pronante or have flat arches, you'll probably love them. The colors are great. I've owned the grape, teal, and this color.

I have owned a variety of Asics running shoes over the years, including the Kayano; this is my second pair of the Nimbus model after being told by a podiatrist that I should wear a neutral shoe with lots of cushioning to try to combat intermittent plantar fasciitis. I run about 3 miles 3-4 times a week. I noticed a little more room in the toe box than the 14 (as have other reviewers), which I like. Overall the B width seemed fine, but I think my feet are kind of narrow. I do think these run short in length; I usually wear an 11 in Asics but went to an 11.5 in these, placing a second order. Also notable is the great variability in fit and feel with the different shoe colors. The mint green was noticeably/significantly shorter in length than the Hot Punch in the 11. I reordered both the Mint and Punch in 11.5, but the Mint was sold out, so I ordered the hideous Lightning/Green in the 11.5. Oddly, it seemed a bit more cushiony in the forefront than the Hot Punch so I ended up keeping it, despite its vile color. This variability in materials and sizing is a tad disconcerting. But so far the shoes are a good replacement for my old Nimbus 14s which seem to have lost their cushion after about a year. Overall, I think the Nimbus 15s are as good, and perhaps better than the 14s.

Had the Nimbus for the first time last year with the 14s, had to return for a half size larger. Stick with the half size up for the 15s. Just got my new pair and am pushing to the end for sure even with the half size larger than lots of my old Asics, New Balance, Adidas. They still have a somewhat narrow toe box too, although much improved over last year. These aren't really complaints though, just an FYI- because I love these running shoes! Fantastic cushioning and support. And the toes do loosen up after just a couple wears. Last year when I really upped my running game, I didn't have any of the knee pain or shin splints that I got from cheaper/older shoes. My very first run in them I went further and faster than ever before- seriously. I put on about 15 to 20 road miles a week with no pain. Worth the $.

I have always worn a size 9 in Asics. My toes rubbed the end of the shoes. They are at least half a size too small. I have decided to change styles and give up on these entirely.

First Asics Gel shoe I have tried and runs very small and narrow compared to other brands I have worn (New Balance, Brooks, Saucony). Really like the "cushy" feel of the shoes when I walk, I have arthritic knees that are very bad and walking is a painful process. I ordered a half-size larger than I normally wear and they are just fine; I wear a Wide width and it takes several days to break in these shoes. They are now very comfortable and I will probably order another pair in another color. Great colors!

This Gel Nimbus was a disappointment to me. I am an older walker in my sixties and am still looking for lots of cushion with some good support, without having to go to the older lady white leather look! I wear a 7 medium in regular shoes and size up a half in athletic shoes, typically having to opt for wide. The Nimbus is cushion plus, but the lack of arch support is a problem for me. Adding some arch support makes me supinate. After two days of wearing these around the house, I could feel the lack of support and a sloppy, too roomy fit in spite of the shoe actually fitting. I recommend the Brooks Glycerin if you want a well made shoe and are a neutral walker/runner. Excellent shoe. And there is room for an arch support if you need a bit more.

I used to love Asics, but my feet no longer take kindly to the pointed toe box. This is a well-constructed shoe if you have smaller toes than I do!

Very cushy heel with excellent support. I use mine mostly on the treadmill/elliptical but also on road runs. I have a narrow foot but this shoe fits very snug around the middle of my foot. The Gel-Nimbus 15 has plenty of toe room for me and comes up higher on my heel than my previous two pairs of Asics (Kayano and Gel-Cumulus).

Love these shoes! I tried them on in the store first, then decided to go for it on Zappos. They fit me perfectly, although I am a larger size in Asics than other shoes. Highly recommend this shoe to runners/walkers who need support!

I ordered 1/2 size up in wide and it fit just fine. The Nimbus® 15 has great support and it is comfortable. Design-wise, I thought the accents would be less pink and more coral, so I was a bit disappointed, but other than that, it is a great shoe for light running.

I am a first time Asics buyer and I just go my Nimbus 15 in 7W. Out of the box, they felt really tight both in width and length. I wouldn't say 1/2 size smaller but definitely snug and binding. Maybe I have been spoiled by New Balance which tends to run wide. Had to order ultra thin gym socks from Amazon since there is no way I can wear my normal plush gym socks and squeeze into these puppies. Can't say I love the styling and the color options but I got the lightning/hot punch combo and they are not too bad. I am keeping them despite my misgivings to see what all the rave is about. I really want to start running outside and these sneakers are very cushy as mentioned by many reviewers.

Nimbus has become less cushioned than in the past and no longer justifies the price bump from the other "cloud"/high cushion Asics models. The hot pink/mint colorway is even more hideous in person. I tried these along with Cumulus 16 and Gel Flux and those were both more cushy and better looking, although I've been very frustrated with the past several years of color choices for Asics sneakers for the women's models. I wish I could just wear the men's models but the fit is off. Please, Asics, put together more subdued and flattering color choices. If you're going to offer 3-6 color choices on a model, make at least one of them more plain and dark please - we don't all want to wear eye-searing clashing shades of pink, yellow, or other neons. I would like to see more ladies shoes in navy, silver, robin-egg blue, brown, red, dark purple, grey, copper, bronze. I am willing for fork over the big cash if you bring back the higher level of cushioning and some nicer colors that look good with normal clothes.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The gel really was like walking on air. The problem was they were really hot on my feet, they felt like giant boot feet, the tongue was so thick at the ankle it felt like wearing some big bow around my ankle, and the final kicker was the rustly squishy sound they made when I walked. I work in health care and it sounded like I was wearing a diaper or some other noise emitting paper product. It was just too weird. I wear a 9 1/2, sometimes wide, and I ordered these in 10 1/2 wide. The fit wasn't bad, it was all the other negatives and the price tag that made me give up on these.

Disappointed with the fit. I'm usually a true 8.5 but the right shoe was a tad short and my toe was hitting the front of the shoe. Sadly I am returning them. I loved the color.

I got these on a recommendation for plantar fasciitis. I bought the half size up, which was fine, but the toe-box is very narrow and low, so my toes felt cramped and would hit with each step. Also, the stability they provide was great, but not for me. I felt like a toddler walking around with stiff ankles and for some reason, my left foot was turning out. This was all in the house, so I figure it was not going to get any better outside. These may be a great sneaker for some, but if you need more toe room and you like a more plush, yet supportive sneaker, this one is not for you. I'm trying the Hoka Stinson Trails next, since they got amazing reviews for foot, ankle, knee and hip issues.

Love the cushioning. Happy they didn't offset the laces again in this version. Getting back closer to how great a shoe it used to be. Still not as wide in the instep/tongue region; so I guess wide is the new medium. The laces are back to items that stay tied again as well. Wide was not in stock, so I took a chance. Fooled by how good the cushioning feels. Next time will wait for wide 8! I've had 5 generations of these. Would also like a white and red/silversion version again...not all neon.

I really liked these till I put them on, the tongue would actually move to one side and reveal my sock, also I notice that they had a part inside/top that dig into the top of my foot. Not very comfy, I kept them but hated them since day one. Also I'd go at least a half size up.
