We LOVE these shoes. I read lots of reviews before buying them and we never experienced some of the issues listed. The velcro strap held strong over an entire year’s use, didn’t scuff, and they still are in good shape. She would still be wearing them if it weren’t for her feet growing. I would highly recommend these and am just about to purchase a bigger size for the new school year!

Ordered these for my 2 y.o. for starting preschool this fall. Very sturdy, seem well-made and true to size based on her other shoes. I love the traditional style. I was a bit concerned about the velcro after reading a couple reviews, but the velcro tab is very long and seems of good quality...I think for a young child's level of activity they would be fine.

I got these shoes for my granddaughter this is her second pair I got her I like the shoe very much the shoes are comfortable she love wearing them to school my daughter sent a picture to show how nice they look on her feet check the picture out, my daughter loves these shoes so much that she order the red ones for her daughter and yes they good for playing in and jumping and running them, when it comes to shoes my granddaughter is very hard on shoes if you looking for a good shoes try them out:)

This is our second pair of this style Footmates, they were still in perfect shape, she just outgrew her first pair last year. They fit great, and hold up nicely in the elements & on the playground. Love these on my 6 year old. Perfect to brigten up her dull uniform colors. Shes a super energetic kid and her shoes never last thru the year. Well these where different, we were pleased as they still look 8 months later new! They held up very well and still look great months later. Id def get again.

I love these adorable shoes!! They are classic, cute shoes that are perfect for the well dressed child. They have medium and wide inserts that will accommodate different widths. The pearl color that I ordered is a pale gold that goes with everything.

Amazing shoe! My daughter wore these every single day to school for two whole years and they are still in decent shape, just too small. She wore them all of kindergarten and all of first grade. For second grade I made the mistake of trying another brand, Naturino, and after a mere six weeks they are in bad shape due to poor construction. I will definitely replace them with Footnotes. I am very impressed!

These are shoes are great! Very similar to Buster Browns when I was growing up. My 5 year old has worn them for school and she's comfortable and classy in her uniform. Great quality leather. I will purchase again as long as Footmates has her size...

I bought this for my daughter as her school uniform shoe. It fits her perfectly and the navy has a nice matte finish. It is well made and has been holding up well to the challenge of being worn by a kindergartener. I would definitely recommend this shoe to others. Each pair also comes with a replacement inside liner with arch support.

Absolutely love this shoe. Wonderfully made. They can be worn with a dress and tights or with jeans and a shirt. My 15 month didn't even try to take them off like she normally does.

These shoes are perfect for my daughter. She has a wide foot and high instep. I've tried many brands and these offer a wide toe box as well as generous strap closure.
