I owned an earlier pair of this style shoe 20 years ago, and they were terrific. The new, updated version is just as comfortable and attractive as my original pair. I have wide feet (EEE), and the width of these shoes is perfect for my feet.

Excellent shoe for multiple occasions. Goes with anything and everything. Long lasting.

I have used Allen Edmunds shoes for more than 25 years. But this shoe is my absolute favorite. i own all three leather finishes. One has been resoled with leather soles and rubber heals. leather soles give a slightly stiffer feel to the shoe which i prefer. In addition, I prefer to hear the sound of the shoe tap the floor, evident with leather soles rather than with rubber soles. i use the shoe for both dress and casual wear and have consistently received many unsolicited complements, mostly from women. With this shoe i am able to select one of the finishes to complement whatever i wear, no matter the occasion, informal, business or quite casual. i also find that the shoe rarely needs to be polished. The leather holds its subtle, fine finish through a variety of weather conditions. The only suggestion I would make is to offer the shoe with either leather or rubber soles. Please do not discontinue this shoe.

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Bought my first pair several years ago trying to solve foot problems and now don't wear anything else. I have all three colors and have had the black pair recrafted (they came out new again). I disagree that they aren't dressy enough. I've been in professional sales my entire life and routinely wear a coat and tie. I regularly get compliments on my Nashuas! One last thought concerns AE's customer service - it is very impressive. The last pair of shoes was off by 1/2 size and they sent a new pair even though I had tried to wear them several times before I sent them back. Somewhat pricey but the comfort, value and service will keep me coming back.

Bought these as a dressy casual shoe for casual Fridays. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I own, and look great. I've gotten compliments on them regularly when worn with khakis. I've also taken them on business/professional trips and been able to have them do double duty as a dress shoe. My favorite!

The Nashua is the "go to" shoe in my AE stable. Comfortable right out of the box, works well with wool trousers as well as jeans. I work in a hospital and am on my feet on hard surfaces for 10 hours a day. The Nashua provides comfort and support for the whole day.

The Nashua slip-on is comfortable, fits perfectly, and stays on. Excellent quality, precision fit, and good looks!

I love these shoes. They are stylish, dressy and casual at the same time, long wearing and very comfortable. I have owned the black with brown trim for years. They are so distinctive I have had strangers ask me the make. I recently purchased the brown with darker brown trim and could not be happier. I need a hard-to-find size - 11 1/2 B. Wonderful to be able to have attractive, stylish shoes in a not so popular size.

AE I am a big fan of loafers. Through the years I have purchased four pairs of Walden Loafers and now Nashua Tassel Loafers are in my closet. While living overseas I would alternate purchasing black or brown Waldens in four year intervals. They are my first choice for both formal and informal wear. NOTE: once shined, buffing restores their 'like new' apperance. I am retired now and with or without socks they are still my first choice. Rusty

I have worn the Nashua model for over 15 years. I keep two pairs......the first pair, which has been recrafted numberous times, I save for my "grungy" days. And the second pair I wear to to work, social events where a little bit more "dressed up" is appropriate. A very good looking and comfortable shoe that is appropriate for a variety of events, both dressed up and dressed down.

Classic style and comfortable. Good match for me since I am retired and was looking for a nice casual shoe that I could dress up or down depending on the occasion.

This shoe pulls double duty, and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. It is dressy enough for business, but comfy and relaxed for a sockless casual look. The leather is extremely soft & supple. Overall this is simply a great shoe, and I plan to buy my dad a pair for his upcoming birthday. No dad would be displeased to receive a pair of these.

These shoes felt comfortable on my foot from the moment I slipped them on. I just took them on my second business trip and soon forgot I even had shoes on. I like the blend of high quality and casual look that allows me to wear them even with a suit, adding a bit more pizzazz then just wearing flashy socks. I purchased my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes, the Lauderdale, back in 2005 and still wear them and get compliments today. With each wearing the shoes become more and more a part of my foot. I have spent whole days standing on concrete trade show floors and know that I only survived because of my AE shoes. I have been overwhelmed by the quality and ageless style of my AE shoes and look forward to decades of use. I do not have any other items in my wardrobe that have severed me so long and so well.

Fits to size, a comfortable wear all day shoe. That looks good in the executive office with a suit or jacket and tie also, casual with jeans at a sporting event. I especially like the brown over black two-tone that goes with any color. Nashua shoes are my go to shoe for business travel. Helps me pack lite and easy. They wear like iron and best of all very comfortable with water and chemical resistant heel and sole. Perfect for factory tours and trade shows where I have to stand for hours at a time. They take the guess work out of What To Wear? You will not be sorry you bought them well worth the price. And one more thing - they are MADE IN USA BY AMERICANS!

These shoes are very comfortable and go with jeans or dress slacks. Simply the best shoes I have for everyday wear.

My Nashua Tassel Loafer is definitely not my business shoe, nor is it my every-day casual shoe. For me, the retro styling limits it to certain casual occasions when I want a certain look. The shoe is solidly made -- the way casual shoes used to be made !!! The Nashua is sturdy, beautifully crafted with thick leather, and has a comfortable foot bed. Wear the Nashua with a linen suit, an open-collar white shirt, and a pocket square for a blaze of color to match the occasion. I guarantee that someone you meet will want to know where to buy his own pair of Nashua loafers.

I have two pairs of these. I keep a pair at work and one at home. They are so comfortable and built to last. They go well with business attire at lunch or a walk around town. They are equally great for business casual or casual. Absolutely wonderful shoes.

I purchased all (3) three colors. They are excellent w/jeans and a polo or button down shirt. As I am in sales, they are extremely comfortable and stylish, for a polished professional, but yet casual look.

I currently have 5 pair of AE shoes and have been a customer since the mid 1980's. I have always found the shoes to have the highest quality, and the customer service to be incomparable. I also have had 2 pairs recrafted and was pleased with the results. Overall, I find any product from AE to meet the highest standards. Being manufactured in the US is an additional plus. I own all 3 colors. I wish they made more, as this style is unbelievably comfortable. They hold up well and wear beautifully. They make me never want to buy a leather soled pair of shoes again. I always take them on trip because I can walk for miles in comfort.

I bought these as my rainy day shoes and after a bit of wear they are breaking in very nicely. They look sharp and pair really well with both khaki pants and brown slacks. Best of all, after a day on my feet, the shoes still feel good. Great bargain and Made In America, that is a hard combo to beat! Mark B.

This is my fifth pair of AE shoes that were purchased just about a year ago. They are comfortable to wear both to work or after hours when socializing with friends. They go great with work khakis as well as being worn casually with jeans. The biggest highlight that I would offer is their versatility. This is not to take away from other AE shoes, however, some models are strictly dress or sport shoes as examples.

I love the style. I wear them most places. I have an all brown pair and the black and brown. They are very comfortable.
