The Nashua Loafer is the most comfortable shoe I own. I have it in all three colors and wear them with everything.

Of all the dress shoes and casual shoes I have bought, these stand the test of time. I ensure to use shoe trees and get them shined at least monthly due to hectic travel schedule. ENJOY wearing these shoes as wear them with sports coat for business meetings and out at night with jeans. Interesting fact: men complement me on these shoes since their durability and functionality.

Bought these online for my husband and he loved them, but felt they were too small. We went online, printed out an exchange form, shipped them back, and received the next 1/2 size up. Perfect! Very happy with the shoes and the entire customer service experience.

I have hard to find size, 13B, and this is one of the few loafers that I can wear. Quality is great!

For casual wear this shoe is quite perfect. The two-tone, black-brown version goes well with jeans, high quality casual slacks of nearly any color. Great for travel. In summer I tend to wear a canvas loafer but the rest of the year this shoe is perfecto.

Love these shoes. Wore out a pair several years ago. When I saw they were on sale, I couldn't resist. As soon as I put them on, I remembered why I liked them so much.

This is a high quality shoe that brings all day comfort to a "smart" casual loafer.

I have had a brown pair and a black/brown pair for years and each has been recrafted about three times (so far). I bought two new pairs but continue to wear the older ones most of the time and will likely have them recrafted again. These are certainly high quality shoes.

I'm a 40 + year owner and wearer of AE shoes, mostly because no other quality manufacturer makes shoes in my size, 12AA or 12 AAA depending upon the design. I am especially happy to have recently found that AE makes a casual shoe that fits my foot! Thanks AE! I've only worn them for a month, however, based upon my over 40 years of owning and wearing AE shoes I believe I can predict that these maintain their longtime reputation for initial and long-term quality. As the review title suggests this design will work for you in any situation short of the big board meeting or working in the yard.
