Previously I had 804 and was happy with how comfortable that shoes was. Hoping 806 will ne as good if not better but was complete disappointment. It has no support and no cushion; pretty soon I will be looking for new shoe.

I ordered the wide size and it wasn’t wide at all.

These are the noisiest shoes I have ever worn. The clear rubber that covers the reflective silver on the back on the shoe squeaks with every step. I had hoped they would break in but 2 months on they still squeak. They are headed to Goodwill at the first opportunity.

Pointed shoe box equals very narrow box. This 4E width is much much more narrow than 4E in my other NB shoes. Returning to look for a different brand. I REALLY wish NB would start making the 1006 shoes again. The newer 1007s are clunky and hurt my heel for some reason

Split open after 1 week

Looks great but couldn’t get my foot into shoe because it was too small inside and put pressure on top of my foot.

These shoes were a bit small and narrow. Also the shoes that I received were used. When I say used, I don't mean tried on then put back in the box. These shoes had begun to take on the shape of the wearers feet and there was noticeable wear on the sole. This is disappointing.

Bought for my husband and he thought they would be cushy for bottom of feet and they weren’t at all and felt about a size too small.

My normal size did not fit.

These tennis shoes arrived OBVIOUSLY worn. The toes are slightly dirty and the shoe itself was “wrinkled” as if someone had been wearing this shoe too large all summer while they were on the court. Yuk Zappos. Where’s your quality control?

There are serious quality issues with this shoe. I have been wearing the MC80x shoes since 2010 (started with 803) and they have been great until this iteration. The sole separated from one of my 806 shoes shortly after purchase and Zappos replaced the pair. A month later the replacement shoes had the same issue and Zappos replaced that pair. The third pair has done OK with the soles, but after about a year, with plenty of wear still left, they have been killing my feet (I play tennis 2/week). First a bruise on my right heel then pain across the left arch. I never had foot issues with the 803-805 versions, so I suspect that New Balance has found a different manufacturer that is not providing the necessary quality. With my new Dunlop shoes the foot issues have gone away. I liked my previous New Balance shoes and most of my friends still wear them, but I will be advising them to be cautious and I will not be going back.
