I have bought many times of this shoes, NB 806 4E and they fit my feet very well. But this time, it's narrow and small, which hurt my left foot. Feel 2E mislabeled 4E or something like that. Thank you!

These tennis shoes arrived OBVIOUSLY worn. The toes are slightly dirty and the shoe itself was “wrinkled” as if someone had been wearing this shoe too large all summer while they were on the court. Yuk Zappos. Where’s your quality control?

I wear a size 11 standard width 990v5 as my everyday walking shoes which fits me perfectly. When it was time to buy a tennis shoe I went for the same size and width 806 but the toe box is too narrow and crushes the fingers. It is very odd that shoe from the same manufacturer have such inconsistency. I returned my order and I think I will play tennis on my 990v5 instead.

I have purchased these shoes in the past and for some reason the current pair is much narrower than previous pairs. I have a wide foot due to severe bunions and these are quite narrower even in the 4E size

Have bought two other pairs of NB size 4E and they fit perfect. This pair was much too tight. No way they a extra wide 4E. You can see large discrepancy when you put against prior purchases. Had to send back. New Balance needs to get its act togethrr

I've worn NB tennis shoes for many years. I have a wide foot and I love their wide options. I was playing in my latest pair of 806's and noticed my feet were getting tired and my arches were hurting. I went home and compared these to my last pair (1006's) and the insoles in these are nowhere near the support of the old ones. These have less than 1/8" of material and almost no support. When I called the customer service I was told I could go online and order a new pair of insoles, but they wouldn't send me any. Very disappointed that this will be my last pair of NB shoes.

There are serious quality issues with this shoe. I have been wearing the MC80x shoes since 2010 (started with 803) and they have been great until this iteration. The sole separated from one of my 806 shoes shortly after purchase and Zappos replaced the pair. A month later the replacement shoes had the same issue and Zappos replaced that pair. The third pair has done OK with the soles, but after about a year, with plenty of wear still left, they have been killing my feet (I play tennis 2/week). First a bruise on my right heel then pain across the left arch. I never had foot issues with the 803-805 versions, so I suspect that New Balance has found a different manufacturer that is not providing the necessary quality. With my new Dunlop shoes the foot issues have gone away. I liked my previous New Balance shoes and most of my friends still wear them, but I will be advising them to be cautious and I will not be going back.

All the reviews here are 1 year old so i'm not sure if something changed in that year but after many many years of buying new balance tennis sneakers in wide width 4E they DO NOT FIT! I'm not writing this review because the sneaker stinks or the service was bad, I'm writing it because I NEEDED the fit to stay the same. They were the BEST wide tennis sneakers, I mut have purchased over a dozen of them in the past 10 years, and now I need to find a differnet brand to be loyal to for decades to come...NB what did you do? Why change the fit after all these years??
Disappointed,

If you have true 4E width feet as I do, then these will fit comfortably. It is becoming harder & harder to find extra wide sneakers and these are the only tennis sneakers that work for me.
I'd also recommend:
Fitville sneakers(not tennis) also are wide enough for me

Hi,
The 806, 2Ee are very comfortable but they don't hold up well at all. I sent pictures of the last 2 pairs showing the soles separating from the upper side. It's a manufacturing flaw that has happened to every pair but the company denied knowing anything about it and were not willing to accept responsibility. As a tennis player for my entire life I know something about quality shoes. I kept hoping the pairs I ordered would not experience the same trouble but they consistently separate. Not many manufacturers make 2E widths that are as comfortable as NB but I am now done with the brand. Sorry.

I ordered a size 11-double EE, and according to the box, and the tab in the sneaker, that's what I got. Their idea of double EE and everyone else's is markedly different. I was forced to completely unlace the sneaker to put it on, and it took two full weeks of wearing it, to get to where it wasn't uncomfortable. I took the sneakers to a custom maker of athletic shoes, and after examining them, he felt they were actually a D width.

This is definitely not a 4E wide shoe. It is wide but not the 4E as advertised. Very disappointed

This shoe is supposed to be very soft soled and comfortable but it is a very stiff and hard sole shoe. It felt like it was made of a brick it was so stiff and hard on the balls of my feet. May be a great Tennis shoe for some pros but for the average player it was too uncomfortable to wear.

Outsole started to come unglued within weeks of wearing. Used Shoe Goo to put together. After several months the outsole is starting wear. Online retailer indicates I must ship back. Not worth the cost. DO NOT BUY THESE Shoes
