The shoes fit my big feet. This is no small issue. Glad that New Balance recognizes that large (size 16), narrow (slim) feet exist. And that Zappos carries them.

Great stability and traction on both clay and hard court surfaces. Only complaint would be the toe box. A tight fit until stretched. Lacing keeps in place and holds its strength.

The shoe has great playing characteristics...great shock absorption, great lateral stability, great toe box and great lateral stability. It is my favorite tennis shoe of all time. It is the very best in every category !!!!!

I have not had a court shoe for a few years, but I'm now picking up pickle-ball. I have to admit that my choices are very limited because I have narrow feet, so New Balance, and only very few of those, are the only ones available. This is a well-built and good-fitting shoe. I have only just started using them, so I may revise this review after a while, but for now I'm quite satisfied,

These sneakers feel very good. They broke in easily.

Excellent stability and fit for quick action movement on court. A little snug in toe box initially, some stretching needed .

NB should review its stock on this item number to see if the inventory was cut too narrow for a 4 E

I have worn this 806 model (and previous versions) for over 10 years. It is a good performance court shoe, the narrow width fits perfectly so my feet feel solid. It is a well constructed shoe, but the soles tend to wear out pretty rapidly for me at the heel and ball of the foot. The rubber is probably softer for grip so it works well, and I guess I am hard on the shoe. The uppers have never worn out or split. I generally keep two pair and rotate between them. Having a slightly more durable sole and perhaps another color choice would be my only requests for improvements, but that said I have no complaints.

I have flat feet and needed a supported shoe to play tennis in. This shoe has been fantastic to play in at least 3 times a week. Really supportive, but easy to move around and play in.

This is my favorite shoe for tennis. I have a wide foot and it superbly accommodates that. The sole is very durable and is the last thing to wear out on the shoe.

This is my third pair of 800 Series New Balance tennis shoes and they are just what I have come to expect. The first pair I wore on the court playing singles with my then wife to be. We were married a year and a half later, so that worked out well. The shoes lasted another 8 or 9 years before I wore the treads off so much that I just had to use them for knocking around and active work, and they performed greatly under those conditions as well. So this the third pair, being 806's, a great feature that I didn't expect revealed itself. Today, during my first time wearing the new pair during play, they improved my scrambling so well that I was able to run circles around my opponent, being my wonderful wife. But I figured out I was on her side of the court. No problem. We work well in singles play and as a team. These 806's will probably provide extended play for me as I'm older now and play less and more conservatively. And she still beats me whenever she wants to but that's OK as she stays a few years younger than I.

I am a tennis coach with hard to fit feet. The 806 XW fits me well and I have not lost ankle support wearing them. I prefer a leather shoe, and the leather in the 806 is worth the price. I wear the 806 on both HarTru and Hard court surfaces. I am very pleased with the comfort, durability, and the performance of the 806.

Tennis.....perfect fit.....I'm a 121/2 narrow and this sneaker is made for my foot. I'm an "over the hill" tennis player who has enoght to think about without worrying about a slip or fall....I'm secure with this tennis shoe......
Suggest a few color choices as the white is a bit boring.

I wear a 10.5 Wide or EE in Brooks, Asics, Skechers...and other brands and I pretty consistently fit well in the shoes. These were definitely much longer then my typical shoe. I had at least a half inch between my big toe and the end of the shoe. The video description also says the heel area is cushiony (paraphrasing) but I didn't feel any real cushion when my heel struck down. These are probably suitable for tennis, but I was hoping to use them for cardio (Insanity/Plyometric) workouts where I was doing a lot of lateral jumping. Since I'm returning them for being too big I'm not really sure how they would feel after jumping a lot.
