No cushioning, hard as a rock. Hurt my left heel and could not play for 3 months. My old NB655 were much better.

Ordered these for my husband, who normally wears a size 14B. The MC806W runs short -- and we have noticed this problem more frequently with the newer New Balance styles -- so I exchanged them for a 15B. The 15B fits him well. As always, the Zappos exchange process was easy and fast.

This tennis shoe is well fitting, light wight with sufficient arch support. On the negative side, the outer soul is made of materials too soft and will ware thin with average tennis play in just 3 months.

I have had several pair of New Balance tennis shoes and have always been very happy with them and these are no exception. I need a wide shoe and these great. Comfortable, very stable with good support.

These are my husband's new favorite tennis shoes. He has always favored New Balance since he has large (size 15), wide feet. These shoes are by far the most comfortable for him and last the longest. He still tends to "blow out the sides" after a season of use.

Previously I had 804 and was happy with how comfortable that shoes was. Hoping 806 will ne as good if not better but was complete disappointment. It has no support and no cushion; pretty soon I will be looking for new shoe.

New Balance Tennis shoes. Very comfortable and enjoyable to wear. As cushioning as my running shoes. Played tennis only once but was quite impressed with the comfort. I also wore them on a basketball court and found the gripping power not as impressive. So for traction I have to say mediocre but everything else thumbs up.

I bought these for my husband and son. My son wears size 16 and there aren't too many choices in that size so I'm thankful NB has these. I only gave 3 stars because the sole of my husband's pair was completely worn down within 2 months. The soles on my son's shoes still looked good at that point (I had bought both around the same time), so I'd probably give 3.5 stars if I could. I believe that my husband got a defective pair, and Zappos did replace them when I complained. While husband plays tennis more frequently than my son, he wasn't playing often enough to warrant them wearing out that quickly. I'd say he was playing twice a week, occasionally 3 times in one week. He plays hard, but not that hard! I see that one other reviewer had a similar problem so there could be a quality control issue at NB for this particular shoe. I'd had NB tennis shoes for myself in the past and had not had such an extreme wear issue previously. I should also mention that my husband has plantar fasciitis and finds that his old running shoes wind up being more comfortable for tennis than these shoes -- to be fair, though, any tennis playing aggravates his feet. My son finds these shoes comfortable and has no complaints in that area.

I do not recommend these shoes. My husband on a whim bought these shoes. He normally buys K-Swiss and has never had a problem. These shoes wore down in a month's time causing him to fall twice. Zappos is great and took them back but if you are a serious hard court tennis player you will not be pleased with these shoes!

This is the second pair of New Balance tennis shoes I have ordered for my husband. He needs the wider width and Zappos carry the wider width. He loves them and says they are so comfortable and fit his foot well. The shipping is wonderful because we get them in a couple of days and shipping is free. What a bonus! Thanks Zappos!

I have had several pair of NB motion control shoes. I went to Zappos.com and was able to get a comprehensive review by customers before purchase. This service allowed me to select the shoes I needed for proper size, width and arch support.

First of all buying through Zappos is all I do because they are so efficient and easy to order from. I buy the MC806 model New Balance because of foot issues and need the support. I walk two miles per day in them as well as wear them for casual. They are the best comfort. They are supportive and stable!

After years of wearing a size 10D, I went with a 101/2N. No need for return,the shoes arrived quickly and have great support, comfort, great foot stability. No side slipping.
