Really love the length & comfort

I use these shorts for Summer hiking and kayaking. I bought my first pair last year in black. I was pleased to see the red and navy on sale. They dry quickly and are comfortable. They have belt loops, which help me keep track of my car keys. There are four pockets; one is small and zippered (holds my lip moisturizer). The waistband has elastic, but not the body of the shorts. However, they are roomy enough that I am not bothered by the lack of stretch. They are quite short, but I consider this a comfort advantage.

Love these shorts! Wish I had bought an extra pair. Great price. Love the lightweight fabric, dries quickly when wet. Nice belt, easy to use. Very comfortable. Highly recommend for those hot days.

I loved these shorts so much that I ordered a second pair. I go kayaking and camping and these are perfect on land and on the water. The lightweight material dries quickly. They come with a belt but I really don't bother with it as the elastic waist keeps them up. I actually use the belt with my hiking pants. A win win! I usually wear size 8 to 10 pants so the M fits me just fine. They have side pockets and also a small zipper pocket which is great for keys or money. I will be keeping my eye on these when they are on sale. My take, you can never have too many shorts that you love. And I do love these!

These shorts are a perfect fit! Great for golf as far as comfort. They're cool on hot, muggy days! They have deep pockets and a small zipper pocket, too. Overall a great buy!!

The shorts fit great, easy to wash & drip dry on vacation. Belt is only thing I don't like. The conector isn't very good, comes undone to easily.

Shorts are comfortable, perfect for hot weather on the lake. Love the multiple pockets. I first ordered the color Camellia Red, then ordered the Nocturnal blue. Wish there were more color choices.

These are the perfect all around outdoor shorts. Comfortable enough to wear all day. I've worn for everything from hiking to scuba diving. Must have for any active outdoor lifestyle.

These shorts are very comfortable and light. I've been using for hiking and fishing. Plenty leg room for moving.

Fits perfect and the length is great. I have been wearing Columbia shorts for over 15 years and never disapponted. I normal wear a medium but want a little room so I bought a Large.

I searched long and hard looking for a pair of light weight shorts. And I finally found them in Columbia Cargo Shorts. The material is very light and not heavy which makes wearing them during the hot months very comfortable. They fit more or less true to size. I wear a size 12 in slacks but chose a size 14 in the shorts. Bought 2 pair -- red and black. My only wish is that Columbia would have added a few more zippered pockets on them so I wouldn't have to carry a separate bag for incidentals. Diane South Carolina

This is my second pair and I love them! Light weight, comfortable, easy to travel (which I do a lot). I'm planning on keep buying these shorts as long as they make them. I would love to see more colors thought.

Love the shorts, I have had 3 pair that I was replacing (25 years of wear), Wished the cargo pockets were bigger, doesn't hold wallet or money, Also missed the stretchable belts you used to have. And the back pocket! Good shorts

Love these shorts! They are great over a swimsuit, for hiking, or even to an amusement park!

I love these shorts. I started with two pairs and just ordered two more. They are comfortable and flattering. The 6" length is just right to make your legs look good. The fabric breathes and dries really quickly. The xsmall fits just right (112 pounds, 5'6"). The range of colors means you can get shorts to match virtually any top. Like most Columbia products, the quality is great they are worth the investment.

At first I Purchased these in a size large and they were borderline too big. (Im trying to loose weight so I wasnt sure if the large would fit). I ordered a medium and they fit just right! I am 5'6" and 144lbs I love the material, they are moisture wicking and if they do get wet, they dry quickly. They are light weight and I like the small zippered pocket at the bottom , which is just the right size for a credit card. They are very comfortable too.

This cargo short was perfect for me. It's a light material and has a upf of 30. I'm self-conscious of my thighs and actually used the cargo shorts as a bathing suit bottom cover up (I had a one piece on). The nylon material was so light and allowed the shorts to dry quickly. Of course, I've used the cargo shorts for it's normal use - walking around town too and the blue color gives it a dressy look. I definitely recommend!

These are great shorts for boating. They are comfortable, lightweight, and quick drying. And they look GREAT.
