These shorts are oh so fabulous! The fit is flattering, yet roomy enough for a comfortable non-binding fit. The fabric dries very quickly if it gets wet. The pockets are an excellent feature, including a zipper pocket on the side. Functionality, style, and fit are all superb. I highly recommend these shorts!

Was given similar shorts from my sister ( they were probably 10 years old) wanted more colors! Absolutely love them they wash and wear well? Perfect for my retirement use in Florida!

Love these shorts. The length is perfect. The fabric is light, cool , and breathable. These are just what I was looking for. Got caught in a rain storm the other day. When I got home, only thing dry was my shorts. Awesome. Look no further. These are great.

Wore these on a Colorado rafting trip + back country hiking in CO and was very happy with the performance and comfort! Love the belt, came in handy to loop on extra gear.

Bought two pair of these shorts for hiking trip in desert SW. Despite being in the desert we had several water adventures. The pants allowed for free movement when hiking (Virgin River in Zion); swimming (Lake Powel) and sliding down rocks (Slide Rock in AZ). They dried off quickly so we could go on to our next adventure, even when that was a trip to "town." Felt safe with my keys & cash in zippered pocket. Loved being able to hand-wash & drip dry them. They still look great and ready for our next adventure - wherever that may be.

One of my favorites. I love the relaxed fit, they are wrinkle free, and great colors. I'm always disappointed when they are in the laundry and not available to wear

These shorts are super comfortable and dry very fast. I cannot comment on the sun-screening properties as I'm lucky to hike mostly in the shade here. I like the quick-release belt. The only improvement I could suggest is a back pocket large enough for a cell phone; this would make it more comfortable for walking up hill. There are nice front pockets, however.

Love the fabric and the wear of these shorts! Have almost every color - my go-to-shorts for outdoor activities of all sorts. Great buy!

I love these shorts for hiking and everyday. They are a perfect length, wear great, are lightweight fabulous fabric. They give me plenty of room to move. If I were going to change one thing it would be that one of the pockets have a zipper to put my phone in so it doesn't fall out during hiking, but easy to grab if I don't want to miss a photo

These shorts are incredibly comfortable and quick drying. They travel well and any wrinkles quickly smooth out. I also own a few pairs of the regular Sandy River shorts and these are much more comfortable for me. I have long legs but a fairly short body plus my waist is much smaller than my hips - the regular Sandy River shorts try their best to get that waist band as high up on my waist as possible ( bringing the crotch with them). I take the belt out of these and they sit perfectly on my hips without riding up. I will definitely be ordering more!

These are nice shorts. Lightweight and seem durable. They have a nice zipped pocket which always can come in handy. The nice thing about Columbia, is they make it more for outdoors use

I never owned this style of Columbia shorts but absolutely recommend them, very comfortable and no pinching or binding. Love them!

These are the only brand of shorts I own. I have at least a dozen pairs. I'm hoping for more vibrant colors in the future. I'm 5'5" ... 115 pounds .. I purchased a medium and they fit perfectly. I'm always worried about ordering clothing online, but now I know I can buy more of these ... in more colors :) I hope Columbia never stops making these shorts!

This are great shorts. They are lightweight and easy to wear. I plan to purchase some more when they go on sale.

My order of these shorts brings to 5 pairs in my closet! Quick launder, hang dry and fold. So easy to care for.

I purchased the Women's Sandy River Cargo Short and am very satisfied with it. The package arrived promptly and is just what I wanted. Very high quality fabric which was light and moisture wicking. All stitching is double reinforced and the pockets have mesh at the back which is a nice touch. Smaller pockets on either side are useful for holding keys or change. The waist is expandable and the snap is easy to open and close. This is my second pair and I am planning to buy more in different colors. The colors do not fade and the fabric remains water-resistant even after multiple washes. I would definitely recommend the Sandy River Cargo shorts for outdoor activities or just hanging around the house. They are extremely comfortable and are now my "go-to" shorts for all occasions!

These shorts sit at your natural waist, which can be hard to find in this world of low-slung pants. The material dries quickly and the pockets are handy. I would buy another pair.
