The celestial blue vapor color was a bit too garish for me. Reordered in a different color and very happy with them.

The Clearwater CNX is an extremely cute sandal. Unfortunately, the footbed is on the narrow side and didn't work for me. Unusual for Keen, which usually has a nice, wide footbed.

I have never had a pair of the Clearwaters before - but these are beautiful. But they have no arch support and very little support otherwise. I have very arthritic feet and need a solid arch support and base for my entire foot. These did not work at all.

Too narrow for my daughter's foot. Had to return them.

Compared to other Keen models this fits a little snug. The length is good, but the width (medium) compared to a Venus H2 feels more like a sock than a shoe. Also when they say "lighter"...it is, but if you are used to other Keens, the footbed feels thin and not a cushy.

Have had the exact shoe in 6.5 for a few years and thought I'd replace them since they are showing wear. Ordered the purple in 6.5 and it's smaller than my old pair by at least half size. Disappointed since I figured I would be good to go as soon as the new shoes landed. Not so. Back they go! Size 7 not available, so I'll keep on truckin' with my old Clearwaters. They run narrow, by the way. That's good for me since I have low-volume narrow feet. If your foot is on the medium to wide size, better to try other Keens that run wider.

The soles do not grip well on wet surfaces such as rocks or boat decks. They are quite slippery when wet.

The Clearwater would be a good option for people who usually find Keens to be too wide. For me, with wide feet, it was a no go. Placed sole to sole with a size 9 Bali ordered at the same time (which fit fine), this shoe was significantly narrower at the ball of the foot. The sole was also shorter, which means you should probably order a size up (I had a "Cinderella stepsister" experience with this shoe, so I'm guessing here)

I have worn Keens for years, and the sizing is usually consistent. This style is 1/2 size too small.

Unbelievably undersized. Can't comment on much else since this was so small my wife couldn't even get her foot into it. Ordered both the Clearwater and the Whisper in a size 8. The Whisper fit fine. The Clearwater was ridiculously small - would guess maybe a size and a half.

I was trying to replace my old Keen Newports (which I loved!) and couldn't find the exact model. Tried the Newport H2, but they were not nearly as comfortable as the regular Newports were. This model comes a bit closer, but still not the cushy innersole of the original. Probably won't get Keens again if they don't bring back the original.

The shoes are a great color but they are much narrower than the Keens I've had for a few years. They fit on my left foot (which is usually my wider foot) but rubbed my outer toes. Rather than trying to put moleskin over the shoe to wear them, I'm returning them. They are a great color and cute but just not wide enough. I guess my 'clown shoe' version of Keens is what I need to stick with - they're just wider. Another reviewer noted, and I agree: The soles on these are not as thick as my older pair, so they are likely to wear down faster and then need to be replaced. Zappos service is great, as always. I ordered these right before the Fourth of July and they were in my hands less than 48 hours later. Returning them is a breeze - just wish they would have worked for me. If you wear a B width, they will probably fit you fine.

If you are looking for a lower-profile Keen sandal, then this is the one. It is very lightweight and also has a less sturdy sole than other Keens. It fits slimmer and shorter than other Keens. Other reviews state most Keens run small but of other Keens I purchased to try on (Whisper, Newport H2, & Owyhee) this was the only one where my heel was all they way to the back of the shoe. I wear 7.5 in most heels and 8 in flats. I ordered size 8 in all the Keens and I think I would need an 8.5 if I decided to keep these. I am still deciding between the other 3 Keens which one I will keep for summer hiking and kayaking. I decided against these because I want a more sturdy sole and the large toe protector. If I was just using these for kayaking and not long weekend trips involving hiking, I would consider these for the low profile. I also love the variety of colorways the Clearwater CNX is offered in.

These shoes were shockingly ugly. Of course, I was not expecting them to be a fashionable shoe, but the neon green/yellow with the black is kind of jarring. A more subtle olive color would be much nicer. Once on foot, the shoes are pretty comfortable. The sole is nicely cushioned and the soles are supple and flexible. Sadly, I'll be returning these. The upper part of shoe rubbed my foot right against my arch while walking around my house. I imagine it would be completely unbearable on a hot, walking filled day. This only happened on one of my feet. I wanted to like these, as the design of the shoe is very practical and just what I needed, but back they go.

Sole too thin, feet hurt. Felt like I was wearing flats. Such a bummer because I absolutely love the style, they look sleek and feminine and sporty. I have owned a pair of Keen Whispers for the past 4 years and have really loved them, going back to that style instead. Wish they had the Clearwater style with Whisper soles.

Thanks to Zappos fab service, received a replacement pair of these in my Keens size 8 (normally wear a 7.5M in most brands) because of a sewing defect in the last pair. There must be a quality control issue because this pair seems bigger in volume around the top of the foot that the last, almost feeling stretched out. The thin elastic cord kept escaping from the black plastic cord holder and the straps felt "baggier" than the first pair so that it felt like the straps were gathering over the top of my foot rather than laying flat. Really strange. I don't even know how to report this to the wonderful Customer Service people since the last pair was also defective. It almost feels pre-stretched out rather than defective. I have been ordering from Zappos for a long while now and really like how they try to make you happy. I think this new line of Keens leaves something to be desired in quality control!

I loved look of the sandal, but I have a very high instep and could not slip into the shoe. Once I wedged my foot in, it was too tight across the top of my foot... even with the laces as loose as possible. So sad, really wanted this shoe.

Does anyone notice that the Keen's are great sandles but the insole of the sandle feels gritty and is really bothersome. Otherwize the sandle would be a 5 star.

Way too small. I ordered these because I love my keens and wanted a pair one half size larger. The new 7.5 is smaller than my current 7! After ordering a few keens over the last few years, I will stop as it appears they have stopped making wide comfy shoes. :(

I need a wide toe box and zero drop heel as found in Altra shoes. The toe box looked wide enough but it was not, so I returned these shoes, and went with the man's 9.5 instead. The shoes looked great, but comfort is most important to me.

I really wanted to like these. But for me the arch "support" was non- existent.

They run narrow. I have been wearing the Keen whisper for two years and love them. Will have to go back to that style to get a better fit.

I really wanted to love this sandal as I've Keen Newport H20s previously and I love this aqua color. Even took others' advice and ordered a size larger than I normally wear. Sadly though, these are going back, as they are just too darn narrow. I like that they are lighter weight than the H20s, but there is also not much in the way of arch support on these and the sole feels thin somehow. Sorry, but I'll be returning these.
