Very snug fit and too narrow for my feet and the support was not as good as I was hoping for. Had to return.

LOVE Keens in general and this Clearwater version is no exception. Love the bright (" Anemone/Acacia ") color. But they felt a bit tight when compared to the "Whisper" version I ordered at the same time. Will return them for 1/2 size larger. Wish I had known about Keen shoes about 40 years ago!

Comfortable on the foot, but noticeably less arch and heel support than other keen styles. Materials felt good, also the lower profile look was nice. I was considering keeping these until the bungee snapped while I was testing them out... may end up just ordering another pair. Ordered half a size up and they fit the best out of the four styles I purchased... just too bad about the lack of heel support and flimsy bungees!

I bought these, Newports and Whispers and will ultimately be keeping the Newports. These ones are SO light which is nice, but in my opinion they're not nearly as comfortable or as supportive. I want to be able to hike in them as well as use them for water adventures, and the sole of these is too flexible for me. I feel like I would feel every rock or tree root. Though I think that's the point of these - made to have a little more of a minimalist barefoot feel.

I loved the style but have to agree with the many reviews that said it does not provide good sole support. I am petite (5' 125 lbs) but step hard. I felt the impact of each step as I walked. I wouldn't be able to wear these all day. I also tried the Whisper but my pinky toes stuck out of the webbing.

I own these in the coral color in size 10 and they fit perfect. The dark pink in 10 is at least a half size smaller and do not fit.

Love this shoe! They're nice and light but good tread on the bottom. Not bulky like the other keens. I prefer a thinner sole on my hiking shoes so I can feel the ground better. The only thing I don't like is that my feet still get pretty hot in these. They're usually cooler if I wear socks.

I need shoes with a wider toe box and a way to anchor a narrow heel. Keens and Born shoes are typically my best choices, though even then not every style works. The Clearwater is the best combination of this I've found. Keen quality is always high. Not as clunky as some Keens, love the color. Solid sole offers good protection from pounding on cement and its relative rigidity makes commuter biking more comfortable than a softer-soled shoe. The fisherman style webbing covering the toes hides away my log skinny toes, so that's a plus. Wish there were a bit more arch support.

I was looking for sandals that I could run in in the backyard with kids. I was going full practical no fashion. These were cute but for my feet were small and narrow and did not provide nearly the support of other Keens. I also tried Venice H2 which were much bulkier but also provided better comfort and support in the same size. It matters what you want - these shoes were not for me.

This is nice sandal for walks in areas that are not hard terrain (e.g., hard paths and/or rocks, gravel). They fit well and look nice. Are easy to clean. The soles are a little thinner than I had anticipated, hence the comments about not walking in hard terrain.

I have a narrow foot and these fit me pretty well. You can snug up the bands on top to get a little tighter fit. I can't wait to wear them in Puget Sound.

Because I have a wide feet, the Clearwater did not fit right. I usually take a 8. I ordered an 8 - length was right by not width. I will exchange these for the Venice. This is why I only gave them 4 stars.

Having never worn Keen before, I was smitten the moment I tried the "Clearwater" on. I needed something lightweight like a sandal, yet would protect my feet outdoors. I was almost ready to purchase them when I decided to try Keen's "Whisper" model on a whim. I noticed two things immediately: "Whisper" was slightly heavier and had more support. Stylistically, it is a little heavier looking than "Clearwater," mainly because the rubber toe guard comes up farther and the back strap is wider. But because of these features, I felt as though my foot was just a little more secure in than it was in "Clearwater." I did end up choosing "Whisper," mainly because of better arch support. If Keen were to raise the arches just a bit in "Clearwater," I would purchase a pair in a heartbeat. It's cute and doesn't look clunky (dare I say stylish in the right color combination?) Great design of a shoe on Keen's part...just add a bit more arch support, please!

This shoe is a work horse. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in practicality. I rotated this pair of shoes with two other pairs (not Keen) during a 4-week trip through Southeast Asia. I bought a half-size larger than my usual size, and I had room to wiggle my toes. I wore these shoes when it rained (they dry quickly), when I walked through muddy areas (they clean up well) or when I had to remove my shoes to go through Buddhist temples. (I liked the idea that I could wipe the foot pad at night after walking barefoot where hundreds of others walked barefoot as well.) These shoes are very lightweight and protect the toes. My only objections are: 1) the foot-bed isn't as comfortable as I would prefer (it's prickly, not smooth), and 2) the shoe itself looks clunky.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are very lightweight and can be snugged up tightly with the bungee cord laces to fit my narrow feet very comfortably. I bought them mainly for biking and canoeing but will wear them around town for errands, etc. as well because they feel so good! Only drawback is that they aren't the most attractive shoes.... I'd prefer something a little more stylish but kept them for the comfort. But if you need a water shoe or are into the Keen look, these are great.

Very light-weight; hardly feels as if I am wearing shoes! I'm hoping these will be perfect for an upcoming trip to Southeast Asia where it is hot and humid. To give myself enough wiggle room in the toes, I had to go up a half-size.

What happened? I went up a half size per usual, and it’s too short and narrow.

It was a much more narrow fit then the Keen Whisper and the arch support was poor compared to the Whisper. I bought tit because the Whisper didn't have a solid Blue color and the Clearwater did. I hope they get more comfotable as I wear them.

This sandal is really cute. The info states that the sandal has reduced width and volume. Believe it. My foot is average, not narrow, not wide. It was uncomfortably tight and was returned. I ordered the Venice h2 and it fits great. It’s just not quite as cute. If your foot is narrow, go for the Clearwater.

The CNX fit fine and I also purchased a pair of Keen Whisper sandals at the same time. The CNX were very light weight. The Whisper ones just felt a little more sturdy and still looked sporty and stylish. I am keeping the Whisper sandals and returning the CNX. I also purchased a pair of Birkenstock and Merrell's I am keeping. If the CNX had a different "feel"; I would have kept them .

I wore these on a 2 -3 mile city stroll last fall & ended up with blisters . The synthetic Clearwaters are not as forgiving as my old leather Clearwaters & I had to donate these shoes.I wish these were still made of leather.

I bought these shoes to replace some Newports. The blue color is really bright and pretty and these shoes are much lighter weight than the Newports. I thought they were really comfortable until I walked around a theme park all day wearing them and discovered that the sides rub my pinkie toe too much. They are still ok for shorter distance walks, but I’ll wear something different for longer days when I am on my feet.

I liked the style and comfort level of these sandals. However, they seemed shorter than other 9's I've bought before so that is the reason for my return. They were very lightweight and the material is very soft around the ankle. Perhaps I will try them in a larger size. But I recommend that you go up at least a half size when ordering. The width (M) was fine.
