Love my new boots. Comfort is phenomenal. Zipper tinging off the back could be quieter, but not annoying enough to return the boots. Extremely comfortable, plus goes with bootleg or skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, sweater-dresses w/tights &cozy socks, etc...Don't pass 'em up.

Well made, retro, comfortable boot with great soles for traction no matter what winter throws at you. Looks good with jeans and the right skirt and sweater. I could walk for miles in these. Fits true to size. My foot is a little wider in front and I have a rounded front foot. I like the look of pointed toes but mostly wear almond or round toe to take care of my feet. So happy I didn't sacrifice looks for comfort here. These shoes fit me perfectly.

This shoe while very comfortable did not look like the gray that was depicted online. the gray I received was a much lighter gray and not very attractive. I will have to return it.RTG94@aol.com

attractive & comfortable right out of the box. seems to have arch support as well as cushioned foot bed. the back zip looks good & is covered inside so it doesn't rub heel. slightly sueded leather may show marks quickly but can probably be polished smooth in long run

Great shoes for winter! I live in New York and am constantly walking. I wore these all winter and they did not wear out.

Combat boots have become my primary form of footwear: they pair easily with orthotics while also giving me a slight boost in height (wearing heels isn't really possible for me most days) and letting me feel like an undercover spy. These are easily the most expensive shoes I've ever paid full price for, but the quality and comfort seems worthwhile so far. I'd say the "blue/teal" color has a little more jade to it in person, but it's lovely. Remember to take the autumn-weight lining into consideration if you're in a hotter climate.

Perfect for a stylish combat boot that offers great support. I love the narrow, feminie fit. And the cushiony arch support is exactly what I was looking for--wearing cheap combat boots has started to flatten my foot. So glad I found these.

Best pair of boots in my life!!! I wore them all winter long. I have extremely high arch and these are perfect for that. I can walk all day in these and my feet never got tired or sore. Love love them

I love these boots. The color is green is just as the photo.The shoes are extremely comfortable. I have custom insoles and I don't need to wear them with these shoes.

These boots rock! I bought these in black in 2015. They are my favorite boots. Feel like comfortable tennis shoes. I usually wear a 9, but I did have to size up to 9.5 for this style. They still look great and have held up beautifully even after frequent wear. I tried on so many boots in this same combat style, and these were hands down the best. Thinking of getting them in teal or gray.

These boots are awesome! I've had them for a couple months now and they've molded to my feet in such a fabulous way. They look great, they feel great, my feet are happy! I wore them walking all around London for several days. I have really sensitive feet that ache with just a few hours in most shoes - not these! These are really great.

So. I have super high arches with a protruding bone right on top of arch. Lovely. I also have a Mortons neuroma on my rt. foot and Hammer toes on my Lt. foot. That said...these fit great. No breaking in. The arch support works for me, and the neuroma does not hurt. The blue/teal color is vibrant and different. I will wear a 10 and the fit is great! Oh..my third toe is longer than ALL my other toes, and it fits. Yeah.They are well worth the money.

I love these boots! Thanks to Zappos, I was able to try both these and a pair of Frye double zipper boots. The Frye's were absolutely beautiful, but hands-down, the Cobb Hill Bethany boots were far more comfortable and a better fit. I have a narrow heel and wide forefoot, and skinny calves. The footbed for these boots are not only really well cushioned, but the heel is narrow and the toe is wide enough so that it doesn't smush my toes. Plus, they're lace-up for my skinny legs, and the zip back is super convenient for quick on & off (I don't wear shoes in the house, so this is a plus). Big bonus: 1.5 miles of my daily commute are via foot, and from day 1 I was able to wear these boots for my commute + a 1.5 mile mid-day walk. No break-in required, which is such a luxury for those of us who log a lot of miles daily and need to look good doing so :) Fit wise, I wear a 9 in Keens, a 39 in Naots, and an 8 in Clarks Artisan shoes. The 8.5 in the Bethany fit perfectly.

These boots are amazing! I've just ordered my third pair and now own the blue, black and gray. So comfortable right out of the box and very stylish. I get compliments on the blue pair every time I wear them. Nice wide toe bed as well--I actually wear a size 11.5 but easily wear the size 11. Don't hesitate another moment--order these before they're all gone!! I'm bummed I missed out on the red ones! Can be dressed up with leggings and a cute skirt or casual with jeans.

I have been searching for boots like this for a while now. My only issue was the "blue/teal" color. These boots have no blue in them and are actually green. I ended up exchanging them for the grey. I LOVE them! The grey are neutral and look great with jeans. They are so comfortable as they have some arch support. The back zipper is great; I couldn't be happier. Zappos' exchange policy is zero risk and the customer service was stellar. I would recommend these boots for sure!

Bought these for a 10 day trip to NYC based on the reviews. Honestly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. Right out of the box they were pure heaven. I put 20-25,000 steps in every day on the trip and my feet could not have been happier. I am buying 2 more pairs immediately! True to size. I am always an 8.5 and 8.5 was perfect.

I just wore my new booties for the first time. I have very narrow feet, with high arches. These boots are like walking in good sneakers. The arch support is great, and with a medium weight sock they fit well. They look cute too.

These are such a comfortable little boot! They are comfortable right out of the box! I have bought 3 pairs since I first discovered them. Great for walking. My feet always thank me when I put them on...especially after wearing high heels! These are a must have for your casual days.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I had been looking for a comfortable and stylish combat-style boot, but most are either too clunky or too stiff. These were molded to my feet the second I put them on - in a good way! No breaking in required, no issues with the usual blisters or sore feet after hours of wear. My only issue is which color to order next!

As others have stated, these boots are super comfortable right out of the box! I waver between an 8 1/2 and 9, and the 8 1/2 is perfect. The gray color is beautiful and I love that the laces actually match the leather. Zipper in the back is a unique touch and hasn't posed any problems for me. Very cute boot!

I did a lot of research to find the best grey boots, and these are definitely the winner. I read all the reviews and looked at many pictures and I'm so pleased I got them. They required no breaking in and they are super comfortable. I live in Germany and travel a lot. I have been wearing them out like crazy, and I replaced my winter boots with them. I find them to be pretty warm with thick socks, and I have worn them in the snow several times. I can wear either a 7.5 or 8 depending on the size. I chose 8 knowing I would be wearing thick socks. However, I think I could have gotten a 7.5 and still had room. I plan on buying the teal next, and I think I will try the 7.5. I have a moderate arch and wear a regular width but I do have skinny ankles. I felt these boots gave them great support. I can't wait to buy another pair. Rockport has proved to be a very comfortable and stylish shoe for my needs.

I bought these boots because my daughter had them and raved about them. She's a college professor and is on her feet a lot. No complaints with these boots. In fact, she just got another pair in another color. I like the convenience of having the back zipper so you don't have to open and close the laces.

Love these boots. There was no breaking in these, they were perfect from the time I put them on. Love, love, love!

I like these boots a lot! I've only walked around the house in them, but they seem like they're going to be really comfortable. It's nice that they have a little bit of a heel. This is a small detail, but there are 2 grommets at the ankle, which makes them more adjustable and feel sturdier. Usually boots like these would make my ankles pronate, but there is enough arch support that this isn't the case.
