These boots felt great on a wide foot with bunions however the zipper in the back broke after two times wearing them. Very disappointing for the high cost of this boot!

I'm terribly disappointed with this boot, but thought I'd love it so I tossed the box and wore them about (aka can't return). These boots are very pretty. I love how soft the leather is and the style is nice. The issue is that they are REALLY soft, and don't feel like "boots" but more like soft shoes. They are easily scuffed and, like others have noted here, the toe is completely collapsed after wearing just maybe for a month off and on. I really thought they'd feel more substantial like a biker boot or similar, but they feel like a tennis shoe type of feeling with not much support. I'm not excited about them and don't want to wear them since the toe is totally collapsed. I even stuffed the toe to try and get it to come back up - but no luck. Anyway, as you can tell - plenty of people like'em. But for the price?? I don't think they were worth it. I gave one star because the price to wearability ratio is just small - especially when I can't wear it due to the collapsed toe.

I ordered these after reading all the positive reviews. They felt narrow to me but even if they did fit well, I didn't like the look. The toe box looks structured but the rest looks too sloppy in contrast. These are going back.

I had these in Stone and I loved them. Super cute, and they come in wide sizes which can be so hard to find, and the color went with everything, and I got compliments all the time. However, notice I say 'had.' The rubber the sole is made from is soft and bouncy and comfortable, but does not wear well. Within six months I had worn a hole clear through the rubber under the ball of my foot. I discovered this on a very, very rainy day. It was not nice. The worst part was I took them to a shoe repair place to be re-soled, and they couldn't do it! The guy said the way the upper was fused to the footbed there was no replacing it. I was so sad. Now they're in the back of my closet somewhere and I don't know what to do with them - even on a dry day the rubber has now worn away so much that they're very uncomfortable to wear. I loved them so much I very nearly bought myself a new pair, but I just can't get behind the price if they're not going to make it a year intact. I eventually found the Kara boot from Dromedaris. It's perfect. (Not wide but good leather so stretchable.) Get the Kara.

When I bought them in fall of 2014 these were the cutest, most comfortable shoes that I had ever purchased; an instant favorite. However, I noticed by October of 2015 that they were no longer waterproof. The soles had worn so much in a year that they have cracked and now let water in, and the heel support has gone completely soft. Just beginning their second winter, these shoes are ready for retirement. I contacted Cobb Hill support to ask about their warranty but apparently they only warranty their shoes for 30 days. My very expensive boots are only good for 30 days?! This is one of the most disappointing brands that I have ever had to deal with. If you are okay with buying a new pair of boots every year then I have to say these are the most comfortable and the cutest you can find, but do not expect to get quality for your money as they wear out instantly.

The Good: Comfortable (insert is padded and perfect for arch support, and it will make the walking ladies out there happy when trekking the city pavement), stylish (color, stitching, and architecture is lovely: a balanced marriage between army boot and chic townhouse), and fits like a glove (soft material confirms to leg and angle so it follows your body's natural leg lines: no breaking-in required). Light, will travel well. The Bad: However, the materials are cheap. The soft suede material looks stained (like someone dribbled school glue on the surface and let it set in a few really obvious places), and the zipper is cheap plastic (I spent longer trying to carefully carefully carefully re-zip them then I did trying them on for fit). The Verdict: It's like buying a luxury sports car only to learn the engine is made of twine and toothpicks.Would you buy jeans with a plastic zipper? Neither would I. They're going back.

Had these boots only 3 months and the zipper on one of the boots will not stay closed. Zipper opens up from the bottom up while the zipper is zipped up. Bad quality. Do no buy. I've had Payless boots for less last for 2 or 3 years, yet these boots last 3 months.
