I just recieved this shoe in blue. I have worn NB narrow, size 8 1/2 for years with my orthodic inserted, but this shoe ran narrow and short. I should have read more of the reviews.

I was happy to find this shoe in a 10.5 size, as that's a hard size to find, but I'm glad I went a half size larger because this shoe has little to no padding inside (that's what keeps it lightweight), so I needed the space to add insoles and arch supports. Due to the lack of padding, after walking for exercise, my feet and ankles hurt, even with the insoles. I was sad because I was led to believe New Balance were the best walking shoes on the market, but I think I'm going to go back to my old Nikes.

This is not a wide width, nor does it have the toe box room New Balance used to hail in a walking shoe. New Balance no longer provides shoe last info so I imagine in an effort to save their a**es they only use one shoe last now so it's no longer and individualized fit. NB was the only shoe I could fit to my funky feet... so thanks for nothing, NB.

Sorry to say that I must return these shoes. They are much too wide, a lot more than the usual medium, especially in the heel where my foot slips up and down, even with thick socks, a recipe for blisters. Also, they don't provide enough overall support.
