These are great shoes, really comfortable and nice looking. For me, two fantastic features are that they come in a narrow width, and also that the insoles are removable, allowing for my orthodics to fit inside.

These are super comfy & supportive walking shoes. I have extremely hard to fit feet & a bad knee & back thus making it very difficult for me to buy shoes to meet my needs. If it weren't for Zappos generous free shipping & returns I don't know what I'd do. I wore these shoes right out of the box with no break needed.

Love my purchase after shopping around for the best and affordable shoe. I have heel spur so I needed a shoe that would be comfortable to wear for more than a couple of hours. No issue with the size and style of the shoe and delivery was next day.

These my favorite athletic shoes that I have ever owned. I was a little nervous buying without trying them on but they were super comfortable right out of the box.

These fit great. I love them so far! I know from past experience that New Balance shoes last really well. My previous pair were a different name-brand and didn't last, so I will be buying New Balance again from now on...

I really like these shoes. They're priced a little higher than I normally buy. I have a long, skinny foot and in order to make sure I have enough toe length I got the 10.5 N so it's a little wide in the mid foot area for me but fits good in the heel so I add a half sock to fill out the space and that works good for me.

I needed shoes for occasional hikes and long walks, and these fit the bill. I bought them a half size larger than street shoes, and they fit well with socks. Haven't worn them barefoot, except to try on, and they seemed a tad large that way. The first time I wore them was for a visit to a national park, where I unexpectedly joined a strenuous hike over boulders, culminating in scaling a nearly vertical wall. This is something I normally wouldn't do, but these shoes served me well, both in comfort and traction. But I can also wear them to the grocery store -- they're not too clunky and don't look like clown shoes.

These shoes are so comfortable. I have a narrow heel and a lot of shoes slip up and down in the heel when I walk. This shoe doesn't do that. I'd definitely recommend for others with the same issue. I wear custom orthotics, so it's difficult for me to comment on the amount of arch support. But they work great with my orthotics.

These shoes are very comfortable and light weight. I am active and usually wear Asics, yet I was not happy with the last few pairs of Asics I purchased because they felt cheap and heavy. I am happier with these New Balance shoes and recommend them for walking.

I am very particular about how my shoes fit. I am on my feet all day and need comfort and support. I have 3 pairs of expensive athletic shoes sitting in my closet because after two hours on my feet, they are hurting. Finally, the NB ww1765 are wonderful! I am ordering another pair. The fit is great (size 12), they're light, and they look great!

Yeah! A shoe that fits a really narrow foot! I have a very narrow heal and walking shoes (even narrows) are usually too wide so I have to wear a running shoe (also hard to find a good fit). This fits well all around. Enough room in the toe but not too tight. I usually wear a 9.5 in a running shoe and ordered the same, so I would say true to size for an athletic shoe, but a I ordered a larger size than I would a dress shoe.

I ordered these New Balance mainly for the color. VERY comfortable. I have 2 other New Balance pairs but these are the best for walking. I do wear orthodics, however, the arch support in the shoe is good.

If you're looking for a comfortable, wide shoe with decent arch support in a contemporary design, this is it. Since my feet require a lot of arch support, I simply purchased inexpensive, sticky-backed, gel arch supports and placed one in each shoe under the insole that came in shoe. This has worked perfectly! I've had these for about two months or so, and will order another pair when these give out.

These shoes are fantastic! I broke my foot two years ago and after a long recovery period, running shoes were no longer comfortable. In these shoes I am able to walk three miles without foot pain. I use my own custom orthotics, so I can't really comment on the arch support. I bought a wide because they seemed to run narrow and my feet are happy!

I liked the look of the shoe, but it was huge. Ordered in my normal size and it seems to run at least a half size large. Will have to return.

As usual for New Balance, a very well-fitting, comfortable shoe. I have narrow feet and NB is one of few narrow lasts available (AA). One thing, it is not purple but more pink/purple. The dark gray fabric is porous which makes the shoe light but still sturdy.

I love these shoes as they are light and supportive. They also are attractive and can be worn with most things I wear. I had a knee replacement and needed an appropriate shoe and I found this pair to be the one!

Like the color, Very comfortable. Wear my orthotics with them instead of liner. Material provides lighter feel instead of heavy bulky feeling. Would recommend!

I ordered the New Balance WW1765 for my wife, who uses them as a walking shoe. She is very pleased with the arch support and overall comfort of the shoe. She intends to purchase the same shoe when she is ready for a new pair.

As a daily walker, I was experiencing foot pain so I needed to upgrade my shoe quality. I have never spent this much money on an athletic shoe before, so I researched this product and others very well before buying. I have to say I am really pleased with my purchase. It is the best athletic shoe I have ever bought! It is so comfortable, breathable, and the quality of materials is superior. I liked it so much that I bought another pair in the blue and white color for summer while it was on sale! Also a bonus; my foot pain is gradually disappearing!

Very helpful for my foot plagued with plantar fasciitis. I marked true to size as I always wear a 9 in a sneaker, 8.5 in regular shoe. Feels like good support. I am 66, former runner, only walking now due to worn out knees, but at least 15 miles a week.

These are sleek, supportive & lightweight. I walk about 30 minutes daily & needed something to take the pounding & protect my lower back. I find these to be the perfect walking shoe, good shock absorption, no discomfort or cramped toes. I always order an 8 1/2 in athletic shoes (normally an 8 in regular shoes & boots) & these are the perfect fit. I need to order another pair to have ready when these need replacement. The first pair was on sale & now they're back up to full price, but I will still order them again.

These shoes fit great right out of the box. I have not worn them outside yet due to our snowy weather, however they have had several hour walks on the treadmill and so far no complaints. Love them and the color.

I love these shoes. I have wide feet and New Balance is one of my go-to brands. These shoes don't disappoint. I tend to vary between an 8 and an 8.5. In this shoe, the 8.5 was too big. I reordered the 8 and they fit perfectly! Only thing on my wish list for these shoes would be grey laces instead of neon pink. But that's a style thing and the pink is growing on me.

Best walking shoe I have owned. High comfort and style. Ordering another pair before they go away. Worth the price, and I don't usually pay this much for a pair of shoes.
