These are shorts I will probably wear often because they are comfortable and lightweight. The style is rather boring, but oftentimes comfort wins over style. I have slim hips and usually wear a size 8. I bought a size Medium, and they fit perfectly.

It's my second pair! Love them for everyday wearing. Hope there'll be longer versions like 8'' or 10'' inseam. 6'' is great for outdoors, but a bit shorter for office.

Shorts fit well. The elastic in the waist is nice. I got the fossil color which is a tan but wish they came in the pretty hot pink that I was replacing. The length of the shorts is good with no ride up when sitting. Good mesh pockets.

Everything is as expected....good quality, good fit. I just wish they offered these in a little longer length.

Nice shorts, good color, they run a bit small if you like your shorts to be loosely-fitting. They are great for a hot, humid climate all year around.

I would recommend these shorts they are made for comfort and easy to care for.

This are very lightweight shorts. The 6 inch leg makes them slightly shorter than most shorts but they seem to work just fine. I like the material and weight. Will take them traveling. I recommend.

This is my first pair of your cargo shorts and I love them just as much as the other Sandy River shorts, of which I have many pairs.

These are good all-round shorts for the summer. But I wish the length were longer-- 2 inches or so. The pockets are too small to be useful. But the comfort and quick-drying fabric makes up for the shortcomings.

I have mostly Columbia shorts. I like these for really hot days, lots of circulation. I like having pockets. What I would really like is about an 8 or 9 inch inseam. I have to take the hem out of these to get another half an inch, or give us a two-inch hem and I'll make them longer myself.

Material is slightly thinner than I expected, but they will certainly dry quickly. Comfortable!

Nicely made, and love the quick dry material for floating and hiking. These were a little smaller and shorter than I expected, but if i would finally lose the weight I need to lose, they would be perfect! :)

These shorts are very comfortable and easy to move in. Although they are well made, the pockets need to be deeper or zippered. My stuff constantly falls out and the smaller zippered pocket on the side is too small for anything other than a pocket knife. Deeper main pockets would make these the perfect hiking shorts.

I like these shorts although order them a size smaller than you think. They run a little big. If you have a larger leg be aware the short length is a little short so you may have issues with them riding up.

I bought these shorts hoping to add to my collection of Columbia shorts that I found at a second-hand store in the women's section. LOVE those shorts. Thought these were the same, but after they arrived sadly they are not. The pockets are too shallow to be useful or to access quickly. BIGGER POCKETS would be great! After much research I found the shorts I was looking for - they are MENS! Still, love the light fabric and roominess of these shorts.

I bough tree shorts; Every thing perfet but not some colors

I love these shorts so much, I got them in multiple colors. I wear them for walking as they have great pockets to hold what I need (phone, keys, watch) so I don't need a butt pack. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they don't stretch, so I change to others that do for weight training.

This is a comfortable short, and holds up well in salt water conditions. Fit is true to size. The only thing I don't like is that the belt is not sewn in, so it falls out of the loops easily. Not a big deal, but different than past models I've owned. The Miami color is really fun.

I find the inseam in these shorts to be a bit short for me. I would prefer the shorts to be a couple inches longer as well. However, they are well made and I do have an older pair.

these are a great pair of shorts, but the pockets are too small to be of much use for other than car keys. A back zippered pocket would be a great enhancement.

I am a curvy 6 and ordered mediums (6-8). I love the shorts (thin material, quick dry, belt), but will have to return them. Mediums in this style fit more like an 8-small 10. :(

Whether it is day-to-day or out hiking, walking, etc. I always reach for these shorts. I have several colors, they dry quickly and hold up very nicely. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the pockets are a bit shallow, as phones are getting bigger I guess it is a problem if you want to be hands free. The zip pocket is good for carrying cash but wallet does not fit into it. This aside, I think they are well worth the price!

Very comfortable. A little bit shorter than I thought they would be, but overall, I am very happy with these shorts. Just wanted something I could chill out in, and these will be great for doing that.
