Just got these pants and have a couple of observations. First, I think they run a bit small. I generally run between a size 6 and 8, and found even the 8 a tiny bit tiny. Other reviewers say they stretch a bit, so maybe not a huge issue. Second, while these are super lightweight and would probably be great for hiking, they didn't meet my need for pants to walk around Europe in. The knees are darted so you can bend easily, but the result is that -- at least to me -- they look a bit baggy when you are just standing or walking. I ended up sending these back and ordered a pair from Kuhl that work better for me.

Very comfortable and fits nicely. Wish they were a bit longer but works with flat shoes. Pricey but it is hard to find casual pants that fit nicely and can wear to work to feel comfortable but look nice.

The fabric is very nice: soft and supple, but it is not waterproof. Once something rubs up against it, eg, a jacket, the water comes through and runs down your leg. Also, the rise is too low in back for it to be a really comfortable hiking pant.

Overall I really like this pant. Comfortable & flattering. The 32" runs short - I measured the inseam, and stretched it reached 32", but otherwise it was closer to 31". I'm 5'8" & I had to exchange for the 36" & hem them.

I wanted some pants for travel, but didn't need anything for hiking, camping, etc. When I got these, I almost didn't try them on. The material feels stiff and more suited for a tent than an airplane. But they actually fit really well. There drawstring inside the waist is a winner (why don't all pants have that?). I normally have a gap in back and this solves that. The pants actually fit me quite well and have a nice stretch to them. They will be my go-to airplane pants for sure!

These are much more flattering than your average hiking pants. I wanted a pair that I could wear travelling and on the trail, and these fit the bill. They do not keep me very cool in the summer (to be expected), but they will be great in the fall and early winter. For curvy gals, I found that I had to get the larger size to fit my hips and thighs, but the waist ends up pretty big. The internal drawstring is ok but I might end up getting them altered. They are worth it for versatile, good looking adventure pants!

I don't care for the fabric to use for everyday use. I really like the Bedford Canyon pants. Great fit, super soft & a bit of stretch! Going to order another pair.

Love them! I am a short plump person and the modern waist is not overall flattering for my body type but, I expect most people will love the modern waist. However, I am keeping them as the fabric is really stretchy and comfortable and the year round athletic usefulness is worth it. I really like the color too.

I usually never write these and then I realized that I base my purchases solely off of these...so here ya go. Love the look of the pants in pictures but not flattering on me. I'm going to Italy for two weeks and need nicer pants with a quick dry material. Had to return them. Thanks Zappos!

The pants are awesome! I ordered the size 2 based on reviews and Prana size chart and it fit me perfectly! The pants look exactly how they are pictured.

These pants have a great fit. I ordered tall and they were longer than I expected, but that's always better than too short. They have a terrific fit, pleasant neutral color, allow comfortable movement, and feel nice. I bought them to keep me dry while messing with shrimp nets, and they didn't do that. So if you want a nice pair of outdoor pants, I recommend them. But if you expect them to keep you dry: no. They washed nicely.

Very happy with Prana and great service from Zappos. However, received these pants and they were full of small white hair. Like they had been sitting in a corner somewhere with a cat napping on them...yuck! So, I'm knocking a star simply because I don't like lint and hair magnet pants. ;) With that said, I'm still keeping them, hoping they wash up nice, because I LOVE the way they fit! I'm 5'5", 128 lbs and ordered a size 4 in the black. Been looking for a convertible capris casual pant, just with they didn't come with all the extra hair and lint!

I loved these pants immediately - very comfortable and also flattering. They are water resistant but look nice enough to wear out on the town. I couldn't give the pants a 5 because the button fell off almost immediately. It's lost so I can't sew it back on. For the price, the buttons should not fall off so easily.

These have become my go-to fall pants. I wear them for work and play, day to day. What I love: the Scotchgard to protect against stains and spills; the thick stretchy fabric that supports and keeps its shape; the string tie addition to the fly front closure that allows a slight cinch in for my little waist. Wish list: just one inch longer for my own freakish (33") inseam! I am a size 16 hourglass figure and these fit so nicely. Color and cut are superb. Love them!

I ordered this item and it was a very nice fitting, stylish pant. However, I was looking for a summer hiking pant (that was cute for traveling) that was thinner than this turned out to be. The material is nice and stretchy but pretty heavy for hiking in the summer (I am an avid hiker year around). These would be great for cooler weather hiking! Ultimately, I returned them. Zappos is amazing, as always!

Fit was too tight and the rise was too low for me.

The rise is very short on these pants. The waist level pockets are useless. After all of the wonderful things I have read about Halle pants for travelling, I am totally disappointed! The fabric was nice.

I should have listened to other reviewers - front tiny pockets are silly, and regular length is way too long (I'm 5'6). I returned for Short length which was better, but the color was wrong so I returned those too.

The main problem with these pants is that the pocket that is designed for a mobile phone does not fit my iphone pro max. Otherwise, these are really practical, well fitting pants that are great for trips (except for the phone problem). I don't understand why Prana doesn't update them with a larger pocket. Even with a smaller phone, the pocket is too tight.

I am of average height, 5 foot 7, 180 pounds and I ordered a size 12 regular inseam. I like the pants a lot, they are very comfortable and the waist fits perfectly. However, they are 4 inches too long. I double checked to make sure they didn’t send me the “tall” inseam because they were so ridiculously long but they did not, they are clearly labeled regular. Beware if you are of average height, you may need to order the short inseam. I am returning these and exchanging them for the short inseam. Fingers crossed the length is better because I really like these pants.

I ordered these and another color in size 4 These here came and we’re smaller then the other color and package completely different from the other two I had previously bought. Sent back Did not fit right.

I liked the fabric and the sizing was accurate, but the low rise and insultingly shallow pockets made them feel like fast-fashion junior pants, not functional clothing for an adult woman. I'm returning them.

The bad - Front pockets holds 1 set of car keys and nothing else. Back pockets are too small for phone. Leg pocket barely holds phone. Can’t even fit a pack of gum in pocket. Where does one store stuff while hiking? Odd flare in legs. The good - they are really a 36” inseam. Material is comfortable and stretches. Sadly returning due to unusable pockets.

The pants are wonderful! I usually wear a size 16 in pants but based on others reviews decided to go with the 18. They hug my figure without being too tight! I wish I could have ordered a shorter size but I can hem these up so can still make them work. I live in a tropical climate and the material is perfect for our hot weather. Very light weight - easy to move in with no restrictions! Extremely comfortable! My only disappointment was in the delivery. Items usually take 2 weeks to arrive here from the states via USPS, and I’ve heard many from here say they have had no problems. However, this took 3 months. Very disappointed and am not in a hurry to order again from Zappos. Sorry. It seems my experience is not normal, but that’s what happened for me.
