Very comfortable shoe once you break them in a bit. They rubbed a bit on the top of my foot in the beginning but that was quickly resolved and they are now one of my favorite flats. I have them in several colors and each has exceeded my expectations in style and comfort.

I really wanted to like these. I've been searching for a comfortable ballet-type shoe. Unfortunately, the material along the side of my foot just wasn't comfortable. The insole is very comfortable, though.

These are so pretty in person; I bought the gold ones, and they go with everything. They do hurt though. There's a little tab in the back that digs into the back of your foot when you walk, and while the leather itself is soft, the edging around the opening is less so and chafes after a while. I'm hoping these are just breaking-in issues that will go away with time and callouses. If so, I'll be buying more.

I can wear this shoe for about four or five hours and then my heel starts to hurt. I wish it had more cushy....

I purchased these shoes in panna cotta. The gold is very pretty but it scratches easily. I returned the first pair because I thought it was a defect in the leather, but after wearing the shoes a few times, I think the gold just wears quickly. I was surprised by this because I have another pair of gold born flats and they have held up for years without looking worn. The shoes are very comfortable. My only complaint with the style is that they can look like slippers. I know, it is a ballet flat ... but I would like to see a decorative element on the top of the shoe to dress it up a bit more.

Good shoe, relatively good arch support compared to many others. They do make a noise when I walk.

Super cute flats, I ordered a black pair after buying and loving a brown pair. Sadly the black ones feel smaller than the brown ones. The black flats are definitely narrower and the left heel dug in a little bit, irritating my foot (with Peds). I'm hoping a couple more wears stretch them out a bit more or soften the heels because if they could feel like my other pair I'd wear the heck out of them!

Ordinarily, Born is a comfortable fit for me, if a little wide, but this style was tight through the toe box. A larger size would have been too long and too wide. I needed them for an upcoming trip, so I stuffed the front of the shoe with socks and left them for about three days. That stretched the leather enough to make them comfortable.

The Born Julianne is a good quality, basic flat that's well priced, but just not the perfect shoe for me. I want to like it, but the leather's more rigid than I'm used to, the contrasting stitching bugs me, and an upward tilt of the toe makes me feel like an elf. Honestly, it's more about me than the shoe! The shoe is fine. :-)

Cute. Very stiff leather in the toe box. Leather on heel a little rough. Expect them to break in though, after wearing for an hour or so at work. I have a very, very narrow foot, and these fit, so I expect people with normal to wide feet will not like.

First shoe of this style I've tried that has a slightly narrow heel--great! However, one shoe in the first pair I ordered had a mis-cut heel lining that created a sharp, cutting edge. I re-ordered, and the second pair fits fine--in fact, both shoes feel better. Apparently sometimes shoes can be lemons too!

These are very comfortable. However, I returned as I have long toes and my "toe Cleavage" showed with one of the shoes. the leather covering the top of my feet was differing sizes between the left and right. The color was also more saddle brown than pink.

Took a little time for the elastic to break in but overall great. The small arch support makes the extra price worth it.

Great little flat. Paid twice as much for tan Frye flats, which had NO support and the stiff soles were scratch paper thin after only a few wears. These are beautiful tan leather, comfortable out of the box with a bit more support than most ballet slippers. Good price and well made. Highly recommend.

I typically wear a Size 8, 8.5 or 9. I got these in a size 8.5, which fit mostly fine but crowds my toes a little, so a Size 9 probably would've been the way to go. I have planter fasciitis and am generally scared of flats. These have decent arch support and are comfortable for most of the day, but the sole is very thin, and my feet would appreciate some more padding on the heels. Still, they are very cute and go with almost everything, so it's manageable!

I ordered these shoes after reading a favorable review from someone with narrow heels and toes that tended to stick up, both of which I have. The heel of the shoe tends to hug the back of the heel, which makes the shoe actually stay on my foot as opposed to flip-flopping which usually occurs when I wear shoes that don't have straps or laces. The cushion is much more padded than other flats I've owned, which is a nice bonus. The room for the top of your big toe isn't all that tall, so at the end of the day my big toes tended to be a little sore from being pushed down on, but such is life with curled up toes. I've worn these to work twice and my feet felt decent at the end of the day. My job involves a lot of sitting though and not a ton of walking, so I haven't tested the long-term walkability of these, but I have my fingers crossed they will work well.

I love everything about this ballet flat except that it does not come in a 10.5. I own the gold in a 10 and I've finally stretched it to a comfortable place. I teach and I love this shoe for work so I decided to buy more colors. I ordered the grey in both a 10 and an 11 to compare. The 11 is just too big and the 10, while tight on the big toe is worth keeping and breaking in over time (or taking to get stretched, I guess). Not sure why Born stops making 1/2 sizes in this shoe at 10- hope that will change. As for color, I love the gold shoe- it goes with everything. I don't think it looks cheap and the leather is fine quality. I think this shoe is a good value for the price. It is a good looking, well constructed flat with enough structure to make my flat feet feel supported. The fabric on the insole is a fun touch and not at all cheap or weird. I'll be buying more colors this fall.

These were purchased with the expectation that they would be comfortable. However after an hour of errands it was clear they were not. They felt tight around the top of my feet and tight in General and not much support for the sole. Plus the little liner socks kept slipping off the heels making them annoying as well as uncomfortable. however this marks the second pair of flats that did not work for me so the problem is partially with me I might be able to wear them for work since I don't walk much

I was *thiiiiiis* close to keeping them, but I didn't. They're cute and comfy, but they have a high back. It has a suede lining but I had premonitions of my heels been scraped down to the bone. I couldn't do it. I was afeared and returned them,

Comfortable to stand in but the back rubs against my heel in an uncomfortable way. Just bought padding for the heel hoping this helps, because the shoes are super cute and comfy overall!

This is my favorite flat! Even though I try to wear shoes with better support, I can't go without a good classic flat in my wardrobe. These have a classic profile and more cushion/a better sole than many flats out there. I've been buying them at least every fall for a few years now. They usually break in without any problems, though this year I did get a blister on my heel from one shoe. I'm not too worried about it since I know the leather will relax, but it's something to be aware of.

These fit very comfortably -- I generally wear a 7.5 and that's what I ordered. There's a nicely padded footbed and a little bit of arch support. The color was pretty, too, more caramel than mango. However, due to the finishing process, there was an unsightly spot on the toe of one shoe, so back they go!

Basic ballet flat but with comfort and support. Did start to rub at heal after several hours of wearing.

These are classic and sophisticated ballet flats-definitely worth the purchase. My only complaint is that they are a smidge too long. I ordered the exact same shoe in noche (tan), and those fit perfectly. This is probably a QC issue, but not enough of an issue to return them. I am a true 6.5 and ordered accordingly.
