Either it's me or there is something wrong with these earrings! I've lost two pairs! They fall out of your ears. Don't get me wrong, I have worn them a few times without losing them, but the last time I wore them I came home with one in my ear, one lost! How does that happen? And the one in my ear was just the earring (backing missing)! How can such a heavy earring just fall out? Poor quality, bad earring, even more disappointing wasting money twice on this product. How does the saying go?... "Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!" I will not buy another pair.

I was gifted with a pair of the tortoise stud earrings for Christmas. They arrived with a loose stone. They were replaced with no problem, only to have the second pair arrive defective....with a loose stone. Kate Spade would not honor the second exchange with a refund or replacement.

I am a frequent Kate Spade shopper. I love the brand and the quality of the product. However, these earrings came to me damaged and not wearable. When I took them out of the poor packaging the entire tortoise piece fell out. You could tell just by touching the earring how poor the material was. They are a cheaper Kate Spade earring but I was expecting so much more. Follow what all the other reviews say and don't purchase! I did return them!

I too wish I had read these reviews before asking for these as a gift. I triple checked all of the packaging of my "light pink" earrings as I thought there was an error. Nope! My light pink earrings are an off-white color which only look pink if held against pink fabric. I can only assume Kate Spade did quite the color enhancement when they took these advertisement photos - especially when you can see the true white color on the websites of department stores. What a big disappointment.

I wish I would have read the reviews on these before buying. I have about 7 pairs of these stud earrings in different colors and was so excited for the light pink. When I opened the box I thought I had been sent the wrong pair. They have no pink color at all! More like a cloudy white-ish color to them that isn't appealing. Recently I have been so disappointment with Kate Spade. I hope they get things back up to par because for the price, this is unacceptable.

In the past I have been very pleased with all online purchases; however my most recent purchase of the light pink stud was beyond disappointing. Does not look light the picture, dull off white rather than any shade of pink. Qualify of products are certainly going down as another pair of earrings made was similarly cheap and plastic. Will 100% rethink all future purchases if quality does not improve.

I ordered these earrings and the light pink color shown online looks nothing like light pink when I received them. The size of the earring stud in my opinion was too big when I tried it on. Not what I was hoping for.

These earrings were the first purchase I have ever had from Kate Spade, and my first return. I had high expectations since the brand is so well known and respected. Upon receiving the earrings in the mail, one of the stones had fallen out of one of the earrings. I was shocked that the 'stones' in these earrings were a plastic.. a very lightweight, cheap plastic. And for paying $40 for a pair of studs I could probably buy at Claires, I want quality. They really didn't live up to the high quality reputation this brand has. I am VERY skeptical to buy anything from Kate Spade again.. because who knows what quality I will get.
