Great shoe. They could try to make it a little not so geriatric looking. Only thing missing is the Velcro straps.

Pretty pleased with the Shadow. I bought these as casual/athletic shoes. I don't plan to use for running. They're very sturdy, for lack of a better word. I would compare the feel to some of the classic high-end New Balance models. They feel like they provide a lot of ankle support, and solid arch support. The bottom sole appears to be about 1 inch thick under the heel, so it feels like you are wearing a very solid shoe. Very much a throwback compared to the typical modern athletic shoes, which have a much lower profile and lighter weight. I've owned a pair of Saucony Jazz before, and they felt like a cheaply made shoe. Fine for a "knockaround" shoe, but not made for heavy wear. The Shadow feels much more substantial.

The fit of these shoes is spot on for me, and is what I expect from Saucony. If you've ever worn their other Originals, you should do well with the Shadow.

Perfect-classic style with modern colors

I have a wide foot and these fit very comfortably. Lots of cushioning. But not clunky at all. Great all-around shoe.

This my third pair of the Saucony Shadow. Love how comfortable they are. Bought these because they are the Las Vegas Golden Knights colors. If you have never worn Saucony before you are missing out.

Comfy and fit as expected. Photo was a little misleading. The lighter areas are a shiny grey. Not what I was expecting.

The Shadows are very comfortable and can be worn with various styles. I usually wear mine with khakis, blue jeans, or black jeans. They also fit true to size (for me). The Shadows really are a less expensive version of the New Balance 574s, and that's a good thing, in my opinion. Saucony may not have the range of color ways or the foothold on the market for this style NB does, but I always get complimented when I wear them--which is a nice bonus.

This is my go-to shoe and 13th pair. I love the color combinations and they are comfortable to wear right out of the box.

Great cushioning, but firm enough for long wear during the day. Weird triangle-shaped treads, sort of felt like suction cups walking on hardwood floor. Good look--but I will point out that the red or rust accents (in the photos) toward the back are actually BRIGHT orange, and that's why I'm returning.

I normally wear a 9 or a 9.5 mens, I bought a 9.5 and it fits snug.

Third pair, first disappointment. Purchased in January. They fell apart by September. Casual wear, everyday kicking around, walking the dog, but sole has come unglued in two places plus a separation at the seems.
