Shoe looks very stylish and I'm never finding shoes that look old school yet cool. However the shoe insert/insole is paper thin and so uncomfortable. I had to buy inserts online to replace them.

I have a few pairs of Sauconys Which are great but they seemed to have changed the tongue on the shadows which seemed to be a lot shorter and without as much padding as before. I think this looks a little strange when wearing tongue over pants. To be honest this was very disappointing especially looking forward to getting these burgundy pair for awhile now.

So my main problem is, after walking around my house in these for a bit, my right ankle began to collapse with each step. I believe the outrageously elevated heel is the cause of this and ergo I had to return them. I have a pair of Jazz Low Pro that I have worn for the past year and they have been good sneakers but with no support for my overpronation so I hoped that these would do better in handling that issue. Alas, the ankle issue has dashed those dreams. I have wide, flat(almost nonexistent arches) feet and these weren't that accomodating to them. My feet fit but these were even more snug than the Jazz Low Pro, in this case being a problem since I have a tendency to sweat profusely through my feet. Perhaps the other reviewers who mentioned a good fit for wide feet don't have the compounded issue of width and lack of arches. Aesthetically they are just too bulky for me. I thought they'd look better in person but no. For style and overall fit, I guess the Jazz Low Pro are the best choice while compromising support.

Nice shoes (this would have been my second pair). However, I returned them because the color displayed in the picture is a lot brighter and popping than in actuality. I whish you could find all the color options that can be found in Europe.
On a side note, the quality is not great. The old pair lasted less than a year as the fabric behind the Achilles started to deteriorate only after a few months and it is all ripped now.

Lacking any kind of arch support, but that's somewhat expected. I put in my favorite insoles and they were comfortable... wore them for about two weeks and the toe boxes already have holes in them. There's just a thin layer of foam behind the mesh over the toe box, and it will quickly break down and create holes in your new shoes. Two weeks and these are nearly unwearable already. Waste of money.

I'll start with shipping, which was very disappointing. It took about a week and a half to get to my house which is way too long compared to other shoe companies, where you would receive your shoes less than a week. When I received the shoe there were plastic wrapping that were still on the shoe, maybe manufacturing plastic wraps? I'm not entirely sure. The shoe seems a little bit deformed with the stitching and cuts. The tongue was indeed longer than most of the saucony that I have owned I'm not sure if mine was a defected pair or not but its way too long. I also noticed a few glue stains on the shoe. Overall it's very comfortable and I can't argue with comfort ability did 50,000 steps in them and no foot fatigue. Really impressed with the comfort.

The shoes are very nice, but I can't wear them because they do not fit true to size. I ordered a size 11, MY ACTUAL SHOE SIZE. But they fit like a size 10 or 10 1/2. And there are no retail stores that sale them. So I can't exchange them. I want my money back!

I haven't bought shadows in years, I was an avid fan of the Jazz. But since the "81" redesign of the shoe, and utilizing unisex sizing, I've moved on to other brands. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the shadows hoping the engineers didn't ruin these as well. Wrong. The toe box is now tight and uncomfortable same as the 81 unisex redesign. What was once the most comfortable retro shoe, is now just another fashion statement. Similar to onitsuka tigers. These absolutely suck and hurt my feet. I wish Saucony would listen to their customers and go back to making these shoes with the original design. Which was flawless.

Although I ordered the Original Shadow (for men), the shoe I received was nothing like the Original Shadow. (Among other things, it is much, much narrower.) The shoe received might be great for some people. It is well constructed. However, if you want the Original Shadow for men, do not order this shoe.

I've always purchased size 12 in saucony shadow original and never complained about the fitting. This time around the sizing was awful. The tongue on the shoes says size 12, but the bottom of the sole says 11.5. I've never seen this type of discrepancy before especially from this brand. I requested a return in exchange for a size 13 because size 12 I initially ordered was too tight by 1/2 a size but when the size 13 arrived, I noticed that the tongue of the shoes says size 13 but the soles says 12.5. I can't even comfortably wear the shoes I've always loved because it's too loose. I'm going to refrain from purchasing shoes from the brand from now on until they fix this issue. Horrible recent production.

The warehouse decided to ship me an entire different shoe, so I never received my correct order. I was so annoyed that I just sent back the shoes , having to print the return label and get a packaging slip to send the shoes back , and didn't even ask for them TK send again because I was afraid they will send the wrong one in error again.

All my Sauconys are 8.5, this 8.5 shoe is too small. Very disappointed
