I got my first High Sierra Backpack as a prize from work. I was surprised by its great quality. This was very inexpensive for the quality and I love it.

Purchased for my daughter, she likes the design. The only thing she stated was that it fits her shoulders odd.

I bought 40 of these packs to help people who need a good backpack to carry their things. Everyone I have handed these to are appreciative of the quality and room for the stuff the need to carry.

I use backpack for work. The multiple large departments are great. The pruce was great! I carry heavy books for work so the bags durability is still ib question.

Great Backpack for Middle school. Lots of pockets and very durable. The only issue are the two straps on side limit how open you can make the largest pocket.

great size back pack. part of the backpack was not stitched correctly. I do not have time to send it back so that my child can have a backpack for school.

Good bag but the dimensions are not correct as the bag is very tapered at the top. A dimension of 14.5 by 12 would be more accurate as that's the the size of an item you could store'

I had this backpack for 20 years, took it every hike and air travel trip I went on. It was finally time to get a new one. The model though is made of a different material that is thinner and nylon-y; the zippers are cheaper quality (plastic) and the cool pocket that used to be at the top of the backpack to store valuables is now gone. I'll be returning this item and looking for a more sturdy option.

Quality is ok. Size is good. Needs an improvement in the overall material quality.

The new version seems to be made with thinner material and the zippers look to be of cheaper quality. Time will tell. My last day pack from High Sierra lasted 17 years.

This is an average book bag/backpack. It has lighter-duty coil zippers rather the beefier tooth zippers of the older High Sierra backpacks; coil zippers are always the first failure point, so I know this will not last so well. The zipper pulls are looped in rather than permanently attached, so they will gradually get lost. And its sleeve is tablet-sized rather than laptop-sized. On the up-side, it is well designed with 4 zipper pockets (2 large, 2 smaller) and constructed. You get what you pay for.

Good quality, light weight but zippers are not easy for a 10 year old and more importantly the zippers are not opening to standard, opens less than other backpacks. My 10 year old has a hardest time to put her 2" binder in main area. She has to take everything out, take out her bottle from side pocket then she can hardly put the binder in.

This would be a good book bag for a student that needs organization and room to carry several books. There is a small tablet sleeve that we did not use.
Unfortunately there is not room to carry a large 3 ring binder and that is required at our school.

I wanted a bag without all the straps and inner pockets primarily for toting my groceries or when on the train and I don't want my "huge" High Sierra bag with all the straps. Unfortunately, it isn't comfortable regardless of how much or little I have in it. I can feel everything in my back. The zippers aren't as high quality or as easy to access as my other High Sierrra. The material also feels much cheaper and it doesn't seem very large capacity to me. This would be okay for someone just transporting things by car, but for someone who walks, I don't recommend it.

I was extremely disappointed. This book bag seems like it is a great quality. However it came with a Prop 65 warning on the backpack. But it's not listed anywhere that I can find on the product description.

The bottom of the bag pack is very thin. Looks like it can damage very fast.
