MY MOTHER GAVE THE BACKPACK TO MY DAUGHTER FOR A BACK TO SCHOOL GIFT. MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT SHE LOVES THE PREETY DISIGN AND COLORS. SHE DIDN'T GET TO USE IT YET, BUT WE TESTED OUT WITH HER BINDERS AND TEXTS BOOKS. EVERYTHING FITS WISH MEANS IT HAS LOTS OF SPACE .A PLUS FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO HAS LOTS OF BOOKS TO CARRY. THE PADDING IT ALSO A PLUS FOR HER SHOULDERS, VERY ORGANIZED FOR HER PENS AND PENCILS. THIS BACKPACK LOOKS LIKE IT WILL LAST THE WHOLE YEARS ANOTHER PLUS FOR ME SOME BAGS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST. AND YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE FOR THE REALLY GREAT BACKPACK.

A little heavier than the Curve backpack, but also a little heavier-duty. The airflow shoulder straps are more comfortable for longer hikes, but there aren't outside mesh pockets for water bottles. The compression straps are good for when I'm not carrying a lot. No laptop/tablet section, so I use a different pack when I need to carry those, but the savings in space and weight, particularly if those have their own protective cases, is worth the tradeoff. The separate full-length compartment is good for separating and protecting papers, maps and brochures. I use mine for general shopping. If I had a student in middle school or above, I'd choose the Fatboy, and the Curve for younger students.

I love High Sierra backpacks! They are such good quality and the comfort is amazing. I bought 4 of these bags for kids ranging from K to 6th grade and they love them. The designs are super cute as well. Definitely recommend!

I'm the mother... so after buying one, I've now bought a total of three fat boys for my kids.

The bag is very well made. Worth the money. I bought this for the new school year (2017) for my son who is going into first grade. I know this will last him for a few years. Price is excellent other places charge double for this same bag.

Perfect for everyday use to work or also on weekend trips. Can easily fit clothes, tablet or books and other accessories plus a water bottle (thanks to the mesh). Comfy straps Love the color :)

I was very pleased with this product, and I knew I would be. I had ordered for High Sierra before, for my freshman year in high school, and I was surprised by the quality of the bag. Not only was it sturdy, but it was also comfortable. Now with me being in college, I knew I had to get a bag from here. There is heavier things I have to carry, and I have to walk across campus, with ten minutes in between classes. It's easy to slip my material into, my laptop, my tablet, and then I can quickly slip it into my back. It makes my walk a breeze, since the weight of my books don't kill me. I highly recommend this product, especially for students!!!

I bought this for my kindergartner. It is huge on her. But after buying a character backpack that did not make it one semester, I wanted something better made. There is tons of cubbies for cell phone, keys, etc. I am anticipating that this will last her years.

Very happy with the quality, size, design and price I paid for the bag. I bought it for my daughter who started Kindergarten. Although it is slightly bigger than what she needs currently, it allows me the option of reusing this bag for a couple of years. My 5 year old is very petite but the bag does not seem too clumsy. Straps seem very comfortable. Main compartment easily fits a 1 inch ring binder, a sweater and a large lunch box.

A fantastic bag. Comes with me whenever I leave town. Be sure to leave the zippers closed at one end of the line or the other -- if you close it at the top as pictured, it will gradually reopen on you. Super reliable and tough while lightweight, highly recommend.

Great bag for my 9 year old. Gets thrown around...left in the rain...usual kid stuff. Very durable and looks good. Highly recommend!

I love Zappos. They are the fastest company and most consistent when comes to ordering from that I've ever dealt with. And I deal with a lot. Highly recommended for sure.

My fourth grade boy loves the color orange and this backpack is big and roomy like he wants it. We dealt with the offending straps mentioned by another reviewer by just cutting them off. No problem anymore.

We love the look of the backpack. Hopefully it will hold up well for a 2nd grade boy. Our kids use Chromebooks for school and have to bring them home daily. I misunderstood the the "tablet sleeve" and thought the Chromebook would fit but I don't know if our iPad would even fit.

Quality not as expected for the brand. I don't think it is as durable as the past.

My 9 year old loves his new backpack. I wish the bottom was a thicker material. It's a thinner nylon material rather than the one I got for my daughter in Amazin which seems to have nice sturdy bottom and more formed. This one is thinner and less of a form so I suppose it would work better for shoving balls and different shaped things inside as it's intended for but hopefully it will last a while. Also, it's a large capacity backpack. Definitely a size that could be used through high school.

It looks good. I am still using my old one. The lunch box was a bit small. I like your products. Did you sell out to Samsonite?

Well made, large capacity. There is only one outside pocket for a water bottle.

This backpack holds a good amount. Opening is a bit tight but with good packing skills fits all.
