I have short, wide feet and rarely can find shoes that fit in a retail store and often the ones online don't work well either. But these fit perfectly.. I love the way they are snug around my heel and spread out nice and wide to fit the wide part of my feet. I put them on and took a walk right away... these are just great, probably the best walking shoe I've ever had. Nice looking , also, and in black I can get away wearing them in the office once in a while. These replaced the New Balance that I had to return because they weren't wide enough.

My third re-order of this shoe. They are great for about 500 miles of fast walking. I recommend them and will continue to use them until Asics replaces the model. The 2E width is perfect for my wide foot.

I bought this sneaker mostly for the color, and I was not disappointed. How could you go wrong with Electric Apple? But it is not just about looks. This shoe is lightweight and very comfortable.

I was looking for a really comfortable shoe with good heel support for the gym and just hanging out. These are great! The gel cushion in the heel is so comfortable. Right out of the box you will love them. I have also gotten a lot of compliments from everyone who sees them.

Extremely comfortable, light weight, and provide good support. Lots of room in the toe box. I wear a size 15 and they fit great. Would definately purchase again.

My husband's shoes...likes the way they feel on his feet, true to size, and great arch support. Would purchase again!

Took a couple of days to really get comfortable but after that remarkable. The gel is great! Not too soft, it hurts my back if shoes are too soft. Good for walking around or at the gym on elliptical trainers.

Good shoes, I can only find a handful of shoes that are big and wide enough. I am on my feet all day and and these shoes are up to par on comfort and breath-ability.

Great shoe, I just started running and seen these and picked them up just because the price was good. So far so good, I really like them, They are breaking in well. They are not hot and look good. Buy them you will love them!

Great lightweight shoe. I'm on my feet at work for 8-9 hours, and shoes hold up quite well. Love the color and would definitely buy some more.

I ordered these just yesterday and received them today. I could not believe that kind of service, and I did not pay extra for shipping. I wore them tonight and they are everything they should be. Excellent customer service Zappos. You will keep me as a loyal customer!

The shoes fit very nicely. Have great support and are great for pivoting. Had the shoes in the past and bought them again because I like them so much.

I run 30 miles a week on asphalt and have flat wide feet. I love Asics and these are a great value. This is my fourth pair and they have all been durable and comfortable.

Great shoe, felt good right out of the box. Plenty of room in the toebox. Plan to get another pair just in case I can't find them later on.

I bought these for work because I am required to wear solid black. I always have worn Asics, and I'm glad that they had several solid black options for me to choose from. The GT-1000s are supportive and very comfortable, but I would not use them for running or any other athletic/fitness activity. They're great for walking though, and if you're on your feet a lot. The only complaint I have is that I got a nasty case of lace bite when I was first breaking them in, but that has subsided. Good functional shoe.

Zappos excellent service as always. These shoes do not fit my foot as well as the last 4 pair of Asics Gel 5s. I find the toe box adequate but the heel is loose on both shoes. My last shoes were worn out and these only have about 30 miles on them...maybe with a few more miles they will break in? I hope my favorite is back in stock in my size.

These shoes are very well made in terms of quality. I didn't feel that they were a good fit for my feet, but that may have more to do with my feet than with the shoes. As far as performance goes, I don't feel that they wrap around and protect my feet well enough to play sports in these shoes, but for walking or jogging, they will do quite nicely. I also felt that the way that they laced up seemed to put uneven pressure on the top of my foot. Again, the style of laces and eyelets may not suit me, but they are certainly well made and durable. I can't say that I love this shoe, but I will wear it happily to walk, bike ride, etc.

Tried these shoes because I've gotten tired of quality problems with New Balance. They are very comfortable and are well made. I'd say there's a little less arch support than I'd like, but it's not too bad.

Pretty good - I have Brooks Beasts as well and I think I like those better, but these are not a bad alternate.

Decent shoe for the money BUT like all Chinese made shoes these days, the US sizing has been modified for Asian feet. I needed to order a 1/2 size larger shoe and the "wide" is narrower than the traditional wide size.

This is a nice shoe. Price point was good and the styling seemed good. They fit well and are comfortable. Only problem: The design paint was very haphazardly applied. Bits of silver paint spattered about on the inside of the sole on both shoes. Just looks like a poor spray job! Not terrible, but if they had cost much more, I would definitely had returned them. But I decided to keep them as it was pretty easy to use a black magic marker to "dot" away the spatter. I did call Zappos, just to tell them that there was a QC control. I said it was okay and I did not want to return them. The rep was concerned and offered me a partial credit for my trouble. Nice move. I already like this company and I am very likely to buy again.

I bought wide size and shoes were very roomy in the forefoot. I will run approximately 15 miles a week with them. Great value for premium product.

Decent shoes. Good price. I think I have a wide forefoot - not wide enough to bump up to a wide size, but wide nonetheless - and the GT-1000 has a roomy toebox. So what does that mean? If you're wondering how these fit? Wide. Otherwise, good support. Good shoe for the price. I'll buy another pair.
