Nice, lightweight shoe with good arch support. Unfortunately, there was not enough toe room for my wide, flat feet despite ordering a wide width.

These seem like a great running shoe. I have not yet been able to run in them, since I've now had to size up twice. I typically order Asics running shoes a full size larger than my dress shoe size, but those were way too short in this model. I then went up another half size - still too short! I just ordered them two full sizes up from my regular shoe size, so hopefully that will work. Thankfully, they come in large sizes. But if you haven't bought an Asics shoe very recently, just know that these run significantly shorter than older models. I like that the fit is narrower. I would have kept the 1 1/2 size up shoes if I was planning to just walk in them rather than run.

I always wear a size 8 Asics, this one was just too big! I am ordering the 1/2 size down, hoping it fits. I have to wear 80% white shoes at my club, and they are very hard to find. I love the colors out now, just can't partake.

These felt a little narrow but on the top of the foot but the toe box is fine and I have a fairly narrow foot. The laces are barely long enough but that seems to be an Asics thing.

I wear a larger size, but very narrow women's shoe, so finding running/athletic shoes that are narrow enough is a challenge. I called Asics and discovered that their GT-2000 and Gel Cumulus shoes run more narrow than their other styles, so I ordered the 2000s. They feel more snug on my feet, especially in the toe box, and are better than other styles I've tried in the past. I'm a happy gal.

Beautiful shoe with good support, but runs a little tight in the toes. Wish I had paid more attention to the reviews.

I do not like these as much as the GT 2170s, which they replaced. Compared to the 2170s, these make my feet look a little longer. Also, the mesh is different and somehow looks overly like fancy fishnet or something like that. They are comfortable, though. They fit like most Asics.

Overall this is a great shoe. Feels a little narrow especially in the toes but other than that a great fit. The slight narrow fits works for me since I a slightly narrow foot but usually a narrow is too narrow for using custom orthotic inserts. Love the colors and look of the shoe!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and supportive without being too heavy. I had to adjust the laces a few times to get the perfect fit.

I love the Asics 2170. I guess they no longer make them and this has replaced them. I found that they were much looser in the heel than the GT 2170. I am disappointed they changed so much. I purchased some of the remaining 2170s from Zappos.

Cute, but not as comfy as more expensive ones. Also, the size was WAY off. I wear a 6.5 in Asics, I had to go up to a 7.5. Weird.

I've been buying ASICS for the past 4 - 5 years. They stopped selling the ones I normally bought so I had to try a new style. I did my research and opted for this style despite some reviews about a "narrow fit". Personally, I end up agreeing with the reviews about the narrowness. I did end up just lacing a little looser throughout the shoe but then found the laces to be too short. I could barely double knot. I bought new laces (45s) but those are still too short. I also feel the fabric is too thin and doesn't keep the foot dry whatsoever. I never had an issue with this in the past. I live in the northern US so it can get cold in the winter. I haven't worn these in warm weather yet so I don't know if my feet will stay cool or get too warm. The fabric also gets dirty so easily that I'm going to have to constantly clean them. Bottom Line: I wish I could return these. I'm not pleased with them at all. But oh well. If it helps, I'm 32, 150lbs, I run 3x/week, pilates, spinning, cycling, cardio and aerobic classes, some crossfit. I'm pretty active and use them a lot. On a side note, since buying these I have developed some sort of foot issue. I'm not sure if it's the sneaker or the orthotic I put in it (I've always worn Superfeet with no issue). But I believe I have tarsal tunnel now and can't really work out until it gets resolved. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem or other foot issues as a result, but just an FYI. It may not even be a result of the shoe but I feel it's worth mentioning. I think this may be my last past of ASICS as I will likely go to Brooks next time.

These shoes look nice, but run narrow. Even in the 8.5 2E the shoes were a bit difficult to get on. I am going to return them.

I really wanted to like these, because the colors are nice, unlike most other EE shoes. I have wide feet, previously had neuroma surgery and would like to avoid having another such surgery. These are not wide. Maybe they're like a D in other shoes. The end of the toe box seemed roomy enough, but the part under the bulk of the laces was snug, in spite of being loosened (and the laces aren't long enough to handle much loosening!). Not advised if you have thick, wide feet. (Note: I do have custom orthotics, which are always thicker than what shoes come with.)

As a long time runner in the 2170 model I was a bit confused at the change this year to the 2000 and 3000 series. I went with the lower shoe as I do not require a lot of stability. Overall the shoe is okay. I like the colors and look but the feel is not so great. It feels like a serious downgrade with a lot less forefoot cushion and the shoe overall feels a bit too roomy in comparison to years past. In short I can't seriously run in these and will just use them for slopping around. I guess I'm in search of a new run model. Bummer.

Love the colors but found the shoe ran smaller than marked and narrow. I wear a 9 1/2 but always size up to a 10. My toe was hitting the front and there was not a lot of room in the toe box. Guessing Asics is not the brand for me.

Loved the cushioning but... the shoe was way to narrow and I ordered a wide. The toebox also was to narrow. If they changed these few things it would be a great shoe.

This shoe is definitely narrower in the toe area than all the previous Asics shoes from this range. I have been wearing Asics for many years, and am quite disappointed in the fit of this shoe

After reading many reviews, bought this shoe to do high impact aerobics. I wore them for the first time the other night for a workout, and I was a little disappointed, to be honest. They were just "eh" in terms of cushioning and shock absorption. I bought a pair of Ryka's at the same time and have worn those for the same workout and they seem to have much better cushioning, I hate to say. I want to love this shoe, but I can't say that I do.

This is a good shoe. There's some support for those who need a stability shoe but needs to be more. I should have gotten a smaller size because my foot moves a little and this may be the reason why it's not as supportive. I like its predecessor better.

I'm very disappointed in the changes made to the new Asics. The biggest problem I have with this updated version of the GT2170 is it lacks in support. It is not the quality shoe we've been accustomed to from Asics.

I had the Asics 2170 and loved them. These fall a little flat. The arch support is not nice. And the comfort after a long run is not anywhere near my old shoes (I've gone back to them at this point). Maybe they'll make good gardening shoes?

I loved the design and typically adore Asics brand for cross country running. I had ordered a wide shoe and it still fit like a very narrow medium.

Too narrow, almost like they used the same bottom of the shoe as the medium width and just made the fabric part bigger. Size 10 EE.

Really cute shoes, just did not feel the stability I was looking for. Love that they come in 12-1/2! I will definitely look at this brand for future workout shoes, just not for running.
