It was described as a soft footbed but it was too hard and ridged for me.

This was the second time I ordered the same pair same size. Zappos shipped out the second hand shoes as the brand new shoes for those two orders I placed. Very disappointed..... RETURN.....

Straps were on the last notch and seemed too long

The suede version of these Birkenstocks were too wide even though I ordered narrow. And while normally a 39 or an 8 1/2 I needed a 40.

Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandal (not for extensive walking) and yet the sizing is off. The 35 is actually an American size 6. They no longer make a true size 5, or 34 European. What a shame for those of us with small feet.

I love the soft footbed and was excited for this color because I love the look with my clogs, however, these are going straight back. This is my first suede pair & the suede is 100% floppy. The straps do not stay upright like in the photo. I don’t want to have to do a dance with my toes every time I want to put these on. I’ll stick with the regular leather. If you don’t mind the strap issue then these are as comfortable as all other birks.

Straps are too wide. Have them in the smallest hole and they are still too big on me. Not tight enough on my feet. Need a narrow.

This style was too big. I have another pair of Birkenstocks that were the same size and they fit perfectly. I ended up returning these and I purchased the narrow fit (I don’t have a narrow foot) and they fit much better. The suede is very soft and fits differently than the leather.

Ordered hubby a 41, too small. He wanted a 43, too big. So finally found the right size w/ a 42. His normal shoe size is 10-10&1/2. Arthritis in ball joint make finding comfy sandals a challenge. The suede on these straps is soft. He nailed another hole to make the straps fit better. Finally- all good! As always, Zappos ROCKS!

Disappointed.....the shoe in the box was not a size narrow. The labeling on the box was correct, but the actual shoe was incorrect as far as width. Rather than hassling with a return and exchange, I kept the sandal & added a hole into the strap to improve the fit.

These were billed as a 9-9.5. Since I usually wear a 9, this was as close as I could come to my size. They are too big, but they are also comfortable, so I decided to keep them. I'm just disappointed that a shoe this expensive does not come to size. Most likely will never buy again.

I tried a size larger and a size smaller and those were considerably poorer fits. These feel a half size off, for my feet anyway. And I know Birkenstocks take a while to break in, but after a whole spring and summer of wearing them I felt like I still had another 15-30% of break-in left to go.

The straps of these sandals are nice and soft but collapse making it a pain to just slip on. The straps are also wide and being suede they will stretch further. Probably a good fit for someone with very wide feet.

True to size, but disappointed in the so-called “soft footbed.” I was hoping it would feel much softer than it does. I have a traditional pair and it feels almost the same. After wearing it for awhile, it does feel slightly softer, but not by much. Love the gray. Not sure if I’m going to keep them.

Good shoes. About same as my last pair of Birks. The 42s are probably the best fit, but are very slightly long.

I've had many Birenstock's but the bed felt narrower to me. I can feel the rims on the side. I normally wear this but maybe the unisex is more narrow then the women's??

I ordered "normal" width and they were unusually wide - I have wide feet and these were overly wide.

The only issue I had with this sandal is that the color is off. I was looking for a brown suede color as it looks on the digital image. The actual sandal was closer to a dark khaki or olive green. So I returned the item due to the color being way off.

A little wide, I may need to punch additional holes so my feet don’t slip. I have worn Birkenstocks for years and have many different styles. I went up one size as I want to wear heavy socks with these in the winter, the length is good, but the width is a bit loose.

Love the soft footbed Arizona sandal! I didn’t notice these were the unisex size which seem a bit wider than the women’s. The color is an exceptionally soft taupe and so flattering. I wanted to keep them but knew after wearing them they would be too loose.

These shoes are perfect. The narrow with is just right because the suede it more stretchy than the leather burks. I like the color too because it is a neutral and goes with everything. I highly recommend these shes. Just know there is a break in period before they are perfect, they need to mold to your foot. After that it's all good.

Liked color and fit

For years I have been wearing Birkenstocks. What changed is the choice of colors for the "wider" width. The great disappontment is the material of the buckles that changed from metal to plastic. Wonder how these buckles will uphold, The color of the buckles does not quite match the color of the straps.

Needed to get a half size bigger, then the fit was great
