Very comfortable shoe. Roomy box toe to accommodate a hammertoe and bunions. Will barely accommodate a dress orthotic with a thin sock which is a disappointment. The silver buckle is actually plastic. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love these shoes! I have narrow heel with a high arch and long toes. It is so hard to find comfortable shoes that my feet do not slide forward in. These fit true to size. I listened to other reviews that said they ran large and sized down. Those were too short in the toes. I re-ordered in my normal size and they fit perfect.

Overall I like the shoe. I received my purchase and immediately wore them. The one thing I did not care for, is that the buckle was not very shiny. Instead the buckle appeared to have a shadow appearance and was not shiny at all. I know it's being picky, but for the price of the shoe...I think I deserve to be picky. Kept the shoe, just because the buckle issue didn't seem worth the returning.

I'm willing to pay $150 for shoes that are comfortable, well constructed, and that will last a long time. These shoes appear cheaply constructed. If I had seen them on a shelf in a store next to the price tag, I would likely have never tried them on. The rubber soles seem flimsy and is full of air chambers that you can actually see when you remove the foam insole inserts. There is no solid floor in the interior of the shoe. Those holes in the shoes interior can serve as a sort of "reservoir" for dirt and microbes to build up in if they get inside the shoe - no thank you. The leather upper seems a bit thin, particularly given the high price tag. It does not appear to be well adhered to the sole of the shoe. The sizing proportions of the shoes were strange. The shoes were very long for a size 8.5. I even tried them with padded socks. Still too long. It had nothing to do with the large toe box. I like a roomy toe box. Oddly, the shoe was painfully narrow just forward of the ankle. It did no good to loosen the buckle. For Josef Seibels, these shoes are very disappointing.

Am a long time buyer of Josef Seibel shoes and this shoe, the Theresa, is a good looking, stylish, well made shoe. Because of a metatarsal problem, I wear mostly Seibels and this one is excellent for my foot issues. However, it runs big, I usually wear a 40, and would have re-ordered a 39, but they're already out of this shoe in that size, in both colors. Hope they get more of them in. Due to my size not being available, Zappos wanted to provide another online store's info so that I could purchase these shoes elsewhere. However, I declined, and will wait for Zappos to get them in. The customer service at Zappos is excellent and they have, long ago, earned my trust.

Really liking these shoes. I seem to have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes on my size 11 feet, I also happen to have the challenge of having one foot that is larger than the other by 1/2 size! I'm a caterer and on my feet for hours at a time. These shoes are attractive & comfy. With the Velcro closure they fit both my feet equally as good with no problem. Thanks to Zappos for all the back and forth shipping until I found the perfect pair of perfect fitting shoes.

I love these shoes....finding ones that fit my wide'ish foot, and feel great is often quite a chore. HOWEVER...I was really disappointed to find they gape out right at the closing. I've only worn the around the house for an hour or so since unboxing them but the gap on the right foot is ugly. I tried to maneuver the closing but that made it worse. To keep them or not...quite a decision for me. When you pay $150 for a pair of shoes you don't want them to look like a dying fish around your ankle. I've decided to keep them but really should send them back and begin the search for school shoes all over again.

Love the style and they fit well but the squeaking - you can hear them from far, far away; feels like there is air trapped in the middle of the sole.

Leather is very soft. Almost feels like wearing slippers, comfortable right out of the box.

I have owned this shoe in the black for several years and I have been very pleased with the fit, the comfort, the durability, etc. I assume the brown will perform equally well. I am hard to fit in shoes as I need a wide toe box and a normal to narrow heel and this shoe fits the bill. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of fit. I have not had the brown shoes long enough to really judge but I must say that the black shoe in this model is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had on my feet.

I tried them on and they fit, I was surprised because my foot is hard to fit. I have been walking in them daily to get them ready to hike around Vienna and Croatia. They did not smell like leather but the text said they were, so I will see how they hold up. My last pair of Josef Seibel lasted 22 years.

I wear a 9.5 and a 39 in this shoe, great fit. I wear orthodics and they work in this shoe perfectly because of the velcro. I bought 2 pairs this time and I have gone through, probably 5 of the same ones over the years. Its an awesome shoe. I wish Josef Seibel would make a show like this (removable insole and velcro top) with a little more Style.

I have been wearing Josef Seibel shoes for many years. This must be my 12 pair and I am thrilled with them!

Beautiful fit, as I suspected they would be based on a similar pair of booties and some of the other reviewers’ reviews here. I hesitated buying because of the price, hoping I could find a less expensive option. I finally gave in because my long size 11 feet are so hard to fit and with winter on the way, I needed a pair of loafer-type shoes I could wear with socks. The price is worth - they fit perfectly and are really cute.

Bought these for my mom and she loves them.

Very confortable fit. It is sad that people who wear size 5 have to buy a half size larger to get the shoes one loves.

My Favorite Shoe. EVER! I've been wearing these shoes for over 10 years and love them. I wear them to work every day. Very comfortable. The simple style can be dressed up or worn with Jeans.

I've been wearing these for 17 years. The style has gotten a bit more masculine, which I'm not thrilled by, as my work attire already borders on butch (especially when traveling) but I've tried every other 'comfort' brand and these are the only pair I can rely on for pain-free feet at the end of any amount of schlepping for any amount of time on any terrain.

I find that with my shallow foot, these work for me because of the velcro closing. They run a good whole size larger than stated. Order accordingly. They have changed design of this show over the years. The last one had a slightly pointier toe that I liked better than this more rounded. Nothing fancy, but they feel good on my feed and look decent. I will continue to buy Josef Seibels because of their comfort.

I’m guessing this shoe would be as comfortable and durable as my old pair of Josef Seibel’s (which has been my go-to shoe for years for travel to New York, DC or cities where I want to look non-touristy yet walk miles in comfort). I just could not get past this shoe’s style, which looked too masculine—and not in a cute way—for my taste.

Ran very large on me. Cute shoe, may try a full size smaller.
