This is the first time I've had a Josef Seibel shoe and I really like the level of comfort I'm finding in this shoe. I mostly bought it to wear at work in a "casual professional" attire that is mostly dress pants. What I love most is the large and roomy toe box, followed by the arch support and the option of using my own insole inserts. The high quality of the leather gives me hope that these shoes will last more than one season. I'm not as thrilled with the big buckle, but it's growing on me.

This was a little too masculine for what I'm looking for, but would be cute with the right outfit. Very comfortable, nice leather lining.

Love Josef Seibel shoes. Great quality. Still wearing my 15 yr old shoes (similar to Theresa style). Finally felt it's time for a new pair, & these ones fit the bill very well. I hate shoe shopping, as everything hurts my feet - except JS.

I really like this shoe. It is very comfortable and has plenty of toe room for my big 10.5 to 11 size feet. I love that I can open the buckle area quickly thanks to the Velcro and get my feet in easier. The best thing about this shoe is how it looks with jeans, almost looks like I'm wearing a nice boot. In my opinion it is a great fall and winter dressier shoe when you don't want to wear heels with your pants or jeans.

Gorgeous style, elegant, well made. Slightly square toe with plenty of room in toe box. Supportive, wide Velcro strap closure so it's adjustable over the instep. Great arch support and insole is removable if you prefer your own. Returning these because they were "almost but not quite" wide enough for my feet. I wish they came in a wide width. Outsole is rugged and supportive, just great for walking or standing all day at work.

shoes are very good. But they are huge! Two sizes bigger! The size chat is not correct.

Josef Seibel shoes are the best. After 7 foot surgeries for many issues, they are the only dressier type shoe I can wear all day. They are so comfortable and accomodate orthotics(removable insole). Although they only come in average width, they fit my wide feet well. This is my 3rd pair and will continue to wear them, for I tried so many other brands and always end up returning them. They also are pretty cute, and don't look like old lady orthopedic shoes. I love my Josef Seibels !!!

I have these in brown and I liked them so well that I just bought a black pair. They are comfortable and work well with my orthodics. I can be on my feet all day in these shoes. They are versatile enough to wear with jeans or dress pants.

size seems to run very large

Great shoe. I'm buying this style for the second time. I wore the first pair I had all over Europe, and they still looked good enough for me to wear to work for a couple of years.

I wear a 7 in dress shoes and an 8 in tennis shoes. My feet swam in these shoes. They felt like comfortable shoes. I wish they would have fit. The toe box was really roomy.

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. I'm a size 10 US in most brands, and 10.5 in some (Merrel and Munro). I was concerned that these would be too small. They are not. They are almost perfect for me as far as width/length.

I have other Joseph Seibel shoes that I love for the support, comfort and style. I was disappointed that this was a bit large. I wish they came in my true size, which is a 1/2 size. Sorry to have to return these.

Wow what a shoe! So comfy, sturdy and easy to get in and out of! Stylish also! My feet are large (size 10-11), wide with a high arch and bunions! I have looked forever for soft ankle-high shoe. No real break-in time necessary the leather is soft and pliable. Love the easy velcro buckle! I am going to buy another pair!

Comfortable shoe from day one! I wear a 7 so I got a Euro size 38 (US 7 to 7 1/2). It was a little large but I thought the smaller size would be too small so I kept them. Wore them on a trip to Chicago and did a lot of walking. Other than my feet sliding a little because the shoes were too big, they were super comfortable.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. I had to send them back for a smaller size -- but now they are perfect and are my daily first choice shoe.

The Theresa model of Josef Seibel shoes gave me the perfect fit for my aching feet. The toe box of the shoes allows for the feet to spread out and that has alleviated all formerly experienced foot pain. The Josef Seibel model Theresa has become a godsend to me. I like to underscore the exceptional customer service of Zappos.

I love these shoes. I normally wear a 7-7 1/2 medium width and that's the size I ordered ("38"). They fit perfectly, as if they were made for me. The buckle is cute and can be slightly adjusted (velcro) for a looser or snugger fit. The square toe means your toes aren't squished. The color "moro" is very dark, nearly black. I had hoped it'd be more chestnut or brown in color, but it is close to black as depicted in its picture. I have been wearing these shoes in the icy/snowy conditions in Minnesota and find the shoes don't leave me slipping or sliding. The traction is excellent. Overall highly recommend.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. The foot bed has support (I put in my own orthotics, but most people probably won't need to), and the leather is very soft. I have many foot issues (plantar fasciitis, Morton's Neuroma, high arches) and am always on the look-out for comfortable shoes that have some sense of fashion. (Why can't anyone make cool, funky shoes that are also good for your feet?) I put these on and wore them all day. I'm a teacher and spend most of the day on my feet, so I need well-made shoes that are kind to my high arches. They look great with casual pants and jeans; not so sure about pairing them with skirts. My foot tends to the wide side, and these fit well. Don't know how a narrow foot would fare.

Thanks to Zappos shipping, I was able to find the perfect fit in this shoe. Having owned the Pamela, also from Josef Seibel, for years, I was glad to find this shoe. The little metal accent makes an otherwise functional look a little prettier. The toe box is roomy, no blisters. There is some limited arch support and the insole comes off and can be replaced with custom insoles. I've had this shoe a few months now and couldn't be happier.

These have to be the most comfortable shoes ever! These days I can't wear my high wedges much because of the constant pounding when I'm running around all day. My poor tootsies can't take it anymore! So I decided to go a little lower and give my feet a treat. They are even better than sneakers worn all day long and into the night. I am so happy I tried these. They have a very nice well made look and are soft and beautiful. Outstanding!

These have the softest leather, they are beautiful. They fit perfect and are so comfortable. They are not too narrow or wide but they give your foot space to be comfortable. The square toe is so stylish with jeans or slacks and the rubber sole very comfortable.

This shoe is great! Really cute, light to wear and very comfy. First time I've tried the Josef Seibel's, won't be the last.

These shoes are fantastic and uber comfortable! I have wide feet and usually find shoes to be snug-fitting. These shoes are perfect for my commute to and from work. This is my first pair of Josef Seibel shoes; but I don't think it will be my last. Get them one size down because they seem to run large. I am a size 6, but I ordered the size 36 in these and they are perfect.
