Really nice boots, but a little on the wide side for my narrow feet. Heavy socks and spenco insoles! I bought these to replace my Justin Lacers, which have a much narrower fit, but not as cute or as comfy. Otherwise totally pleased. Zappos rocks!

I'm very impressed with these boots. They're cute as buttons, but more importantly, they fit well and are very well made, with excellent arch and ankle support. I can't think of an improvement I'd make.

I've been an equestrian for 15 years now and these are the best paddock boots I have ever owned! Super comfortable from the start, and wear very well! I had a pair of Dublins once that only lasted a year. I have had my current pair of Ariat Heritage IIIs for four years now and the soles are just starting to look worn. Will definitely purchase these boots again!

I love! I live in the north east and came onto Zappos with the intent of buying a new 'cowboy boot' for recreational purposes and decided I loved the look of these. I have worn them almost every day since the came in! They look great with everything, I work in an office situation and can go right out and stack wood in them when I get home. They are versatile, they are comfy, look great and I anticipate I will also be wearing them with skirts and shorts. They are my new go to shoe.

These are the best shoes I ever own! I have worn these all around the world in all terrains - be it ice, sand, grass, desert and rocky path and city pavement. They're still holding up after 4 years. The insole is worn now so I'll be replacing them with the exact same model. I can't say enough good thing about these boots.

Great looking boot! I've worn this boot to work in snow and ice and get many compliments. Looks like a dress riding boot with great traction and stability in winter weather. Lace up design adds to great fit. I wear a 9.5 but ordered one full size down as it runs large. Highly recommend this boot.

I love these boots! They are quality boots made of genuine leather that shine when taken care of. I have sensitive feet and was able to wear these all day on my black Friday adventures. They look great with any type of pant and have been complemented every time I wear them! And as an added bonus, they can actually handle my wide foot with absolutely no discomfort.

I love these boots. I bought my first pair about 10 years ago and only needed to replace them because of a small chip in the edge of the sole. They are unstoppable! I love Ariat products for their comfort and these Paddock Boots are so versatile. I have worn them in barns, on hikes and to work. I am loving my new pair and am looking forward to another great decade of adventures together.

These are good looking boots under pants. They are very comfortable, with minimal break-in time. They look nice with casual work clothing and jeans. I wear my regular size while wearing socks.

This boot-shoe is astonishing. It's sturdy beyond belief, stylish and easy to wear. I wear them to work with tights and dresses in the colder months, or skinny jeans any time. If I was still riding, I'd get two pairs: one for the paddock and one for the style. I expect the pair I have to last for years. Four stars because they are so durable and need serious breaking in.

I love these boots. I wanted a tie up bootie to keep my ankles secure while walking. These boots provide good, strong ankle support with a stable heel. They are very comfortable, the quality is excellent and the leather is beautiful. I have bunions and the leather was soft enough to stretch so that they fit both my feet very comfortably. I added an insole for additional arch support. The boots have a professional look and look great with suits. I wear them while walking to and from the office.

Great boots right out of the box. I wore them to the stables for three hours the first day, and my feet (including one foot with four stress fractures) felt great. They are good looking shoes, too, and when my uber-hip daughter saw them, she ordered a pair. I highly recommend these boots for both function and appearance.

After borrowing a friend's pair to ride in, I knew I HAD to get these! So when I needed a summer weight boot with no slip soles that could transition from my volunteer work to my paid job, these were it. Very solid arch area, easy to pull lacings, and comfortable out of the box. I did notice a little chafing where the tongue attaches to the instep on the first wearing, but I think part of that was I pulled the laces pretty tight. The only problem I have now is that I don't want to wear them to the animal shelter for fear I'll scuff them on the cement floor.

I love these boots. Took a couple of days to break them in--well worth the wait. Now they are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever had! They don't make any noise so you can sneak up on your friends;) I love these boots.

These are awesome boots. I am wearing them right now! I am on my feet all day at work and these are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them!

I am loving these boots. I had tried the Ariat Heritage II in 9 (my normal size) and it was both much too long in the toe and much too narrow across the ball of my foot. I was afraid I would need a wide size, which Zappos doesn't carry, but tried these in 8.5 anyway. They fit perfectly, and they're breaking in so quickly. I can't wait to wear them for riding, but I like them for a sturdy everyday boot as well.

These are super comfortable straight out of the box. I have ridden in them twice so far and I did not need any time to break them in.

Looks nice enough to wear to the office, and yet fashionable enough to wear out. Leather is quite stiff so it took some time to break in, not as long as Doc Martens though. They aren't the most comfortable shoe, but I liked them enough to keep them and not return.

I got these boots to wear for work. They were broken in after I wore them 3 times. Surprisingly comfortable with good support.

I wear these for riding and they are my "go-to" paddocks for schooling. They are very comfortable for walking as well as riding but I'm a little disappointed because I've had them for a year and the stitching on the outer aspect of the toe is coming undone. I don't think this would happen if you are using this for a casual walking shoe but Ariat used to be the brand that was INDESTRUCTIBLE in the barn. The quality isn't quite what it used to be for stable wear. That said, I will be purchasing another pair as I appreciate the comfort. True to size and width, moderate arch support.

Ariat boots are fabulous and almost always fit perfect right out of the box. Unfortunately these boots, where they fit great, have a synthetic liner that doesn't breathe well and my feet sweat.

I have used this brand of riding boot for many years. They are well made and hold up to many hours of horseback-riding. I just wish Ariat would make them in wide width. I always have to order up a full size to get them wide enough for my feet. They would be so much more comfortable for riding if they were the right width. Really, Ariat. Why can't you put more thought into your product?

Tons of arch support. So if you're into that, great. If not, then don't go for these. So far I'm finding them fairly comfortable, although the more I walk in them the more I find that the leather across the instep is a snugger than I'd like. And I'm not sure the cushioning stacks up either. It's hard to tell, since the arch support is so great. But I think if the cushioning were a step thicker they would be the most perfect hipster boots. But the jury is still out on that... Hopefully as they break in, all will be well. Oh, but the laces suck and don't stay tied unless you triple knot them!

I recently purchased my third or fourth pair of Ariat Paddock Lace boots. While I would still recommend them, this most recent pair was not nearly as comfortable as the ones that I have had in the past, and seemed to have less arch support. The other pairs were among the most comfortable shoes/boots that I have ever owned. I particularly liked them for travel. This latest pair seems stiffer than the others. The tongue seems to be made of a synthetic material, and it bunches uncomfortably rather than conforming to my foot. The toe cap is very stiff, and, at times, can be quite uncomfortable. My previous pairs were extremely comfortable right out of the box and did not need any breaking in. Something has changed - and the changes are not improvements. I am hoping that wearing them with heavier socks and taking the time to break them in will help.
