I couldn’t get these to fit. I would probably like them if they did as I do like the style. I’m an 11-11.5 in US athletic and I found the 11 to be the right length and width. I found them to be too loose in the ankle and when sizing down they were too tight and short in the forefoot.

Beautiful boots, though not as comfortable as I had hoped - pretty stiff, and rub on my pinky toe. I'm hoping they'll loosen up as I wear them in a bit.

I ordered these in my usual size, but they were pretty snug, so I exchanged them for a half size up so I could wear them with thicker socks. The next half size up was also too snug, but in addition, the back of the heel was very stiff and dug into my foot. As other reviewers stated, both pair were pretty hard to get on and off. Maybe the elastic band was not wide or deep enough. I owned a pair of Blundstones several years ago that were much more comfy, and much easier to get on and off. I think I need to go back to the original 500s. The color was great, but that was about it.

Not enough arch support for me- returning. Gorgeous leather which will only improve with time.

I wear a size 12 dress shoe and size 13 running shoe. Size 12 US (11 AU) was a good fit for me...plenty of length. Although this isn’t a wide boot, the leather over the top of the foot is tall, so my foot does slip. Hasn’t been a problem when walking though. I really like the style of these boots, have wanted a pair for a long time and am glad to have them. I wish they were more sturdy with a more rigid sole and upper. I’ll just have to see how they work over time. I took a 3-mile walk in them this morning and they held up just fine.

The 550 series is warmer than the classic 500's and a little more stout in the sole. These don't have great arch support, but you can always add an insole. I am usually a women's 8.5 and I ended up ordering the women's 9.

These are super roomy! I usually wear an 8, but I got an 8.5 based on recommendations, and they feel a tad big, but I think the 8 would be a tad too small. I have wide feet and high arches and have trouble with shoes. These feel really comfy. If you have narrow feet, I think they'll be too floppy on you. I am curious to see how they are on snow/ice. Doc Martens are terrible on ice, but I did a quick test and I think these will have good grip.

The sizing is confusing. I tried womens 8 and 9 on in the store and the 8 was too small and 9 too big. Therefore I got online and ordered these US W 8.5 however they were clearly an 8. Weird sizing. I know they are great shoes just tough to find correct size.

I have to wear insoles so I bought a size 8. I am normally a 7.5, shoes are still roomie. Overall it's a great pair of shoes. I have super thin ankles so the shoe moves around a bit, but otherwise I love them!

These look great, get wonderful reviews and lots of people wear them, but for me after trying different sizes, I just can't find a good fit. The back heel is stiff so there's no give there. The design with the 2 tabs for getting these on a and off are genius.

I had a pair of Blundstones for about 14 years and they finally died. I just got my new pair and the new ones feel like there is more arch support, which makes me very happy. These have been my go to shoes for 14 years!!!! I was heart broken knowing I could not wear them anymore. As the new pair "breaks in", I am sure I would upgrade all of my stars from 4 to 5. I am so happy to have a fresh pair.

I discovered these boots while traveling abroad in Israel. It seemed as though everyone had them so I figured there must be something special about them. I am very satisfied with their weather resistant properties, and it is evident the the quality and construction are superb. For those of you with narrower feet (myself included), the manufacturer includes free inserts with every pair. These took out much of the play that was in their fit. As far as sizing is concerned, make sure to get a half-size (US equivalent) smaller than your normal size. The folks at Zappos recommended I do that which removed any need for me to send these back! My only concern about these boots is that the backs are causing blisters on my calves. Perhaps my legs just are not used to wearing this style. I have not heard of anyone experiencing this problem, so I am going to assume it is me and that my legs will get used to it.

These are excellent boots for outdoor work and the most comfortable that you will find. They are very roomy and built like a tank - they will take any abuse and weather conditions. My first pair lasted five years.

I have been wearing Blunnies for about 10 years. They are my "go to" footwear for most everything 8 months out of the year. Unfortunately, the quality has really taken a nose dive. They are no longer made in Australia. The leather now has an almost cheap feel to it, rather than the luxurious feel of old. They do seem to fil pretty much the same. I have a wide foot and enjoy the roominess of the toe bed. They do not require a break-in period like some other boots. I will keep them, with some reservations, while longing for the Blunnies of years past.

If I was only reviewing on quality, I would rate these a five. I followed LLB's sizing recommendations and ended up with comically large boots. Enormous clown shoes, albeit well-made.

I don’t get the hype. While these boots seem to be well made and I think they look good (just my opinion of course) these are definitely not worth $200+. The footbed is very flat and quite hard with no arch support at all. While the sole does absorb some of the shock of walking, there’s nothing else to soften the blow. I have a high arch which makes the upper very tight. As stated by the company, the upper does stretch a little, but not much. I am able to get them on and off but it’s a struggle. There is no way I could fit a more supportive insole in there. (I did originally order a half size larger for this very reason but they were WAY too big.) Once on there is a lot of room for my toes to wiggle around though. Expect a fair amount of time to break these in. I wore them around the house for a full week and treated them with a leather conditioner before taking them outside and they still were not softened up. After another week wearing them around they are still not really softened. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it usually means you’re dealing with high quality leather, but be aware. In the end, I am still wearing these but mostly because I want to justify the expanse even though I really don’t like them. If these boots retailed for around $100 they would be totally worth it. At $200 they are not.

I'm still deciding if I like these. They've required some breaking in, which makes sense. I normally like to wear orthotics for my high arches, but even with going a half size up (I'm normally a US women's 8 but got a US women's 8.5) I had pain in the top of my arch when I wore orthotics. I also got some pretty uncomfortable blisters on my heels. So the jury is still out, but I love the look and hope they end up working for me.

Tried the size 8 but they were way too big. Then I tried a 7.5 but too small. Better luck next time.

I have found these boots to be very difficult to put on. For that reason, I rarely wear them. They are very comfortable once on, but it takes a lot of huffing, and puffing, bending, and kneeling to get them on. I hope they loosen up on break in, but I wear them so rarely, they probably never will. If there is a trick to getting them on, please inform me.

These were a long-desired gift for my daughter. Her regular size,38, felt small and her toes hit when she walked. She exchanged for next size up and had the same problem. She said they fit her foot but weren’t comfortable walking. Now looking at a different boot, these just didn’t work for her.

I too wanted to love these boots. I usually wear an 8.5 in boots. But when I ordered the 8.5 it rubbed my toes. I looked at the size chart and the measurement for 8 and 8.5 is the same. So, I returned the 8.5 boots and ordered the 9's. I am torn because they are a bit too long and wider than I'd like. I don't always want to wear them with a thick socks to make them work. Please make sure to listen to the reviews and measure your foot first. What you're used to wearing doesn't necessarily apply to these boots. The lenth of the half sizes are NOT longer, only wider. Those of us who need that extra length lose out. I am still debating whether or not I'll keep them, but for $235, I want them to be just right and I know that they aren't. Most likey I will return. (sigh)

These were ill fitting on me. I am usually size 8 in flats but occasionally 8.5 in boots or sneakers. I tried on the size 8.5 and my big toe hit the top of the shoe but the rest of the shoe seemed too wide. The length of the 8.5 felt like a 7.5 shoe. I’m confused how some people say they went down a size. Perhaps their feet and toes are a different shape/width. I may try on the 9 but I’m afraid it’ll be too wide and big in certain places and too short still.

This boot keeps my feet dry. They are not unattractive and I like that they have no shoelaces. I guess I'm just not a fan of any boot that is stiff. They are very clunky and I strongly recommend tall thick socks with them b/c the top of the boot is quite stiff and rubs on your calves which is quite painful without the right sock. But definitely better than wearing my sneakers or hiking shoes in the snow which is what I've done for the past 30 years or more.

I have 4 other pairs of Blundstones (all 500s) in size 5 1/2 (they are all I wear!). I ordered the same size in these and they were a full size too short. I think the size guide for this style is off. If you're an 8.5 US, I would suggest at least a 6 for this style in particular.
