Really comfortable. Love the profile and shape. My calves are chunky and I feel like these are slimming. A bit snug to put on, but not tight. They are little stiff, probably because of the elastic inserts (which don't look cheap) but I don't mind that.

Like the looks of these boots, but they were a little narrow for me. Also, difficult to get on and off, since there are no zippers or pulls. My calves measure 14 inches, and this boot fits my calves, but I don't think I could wear them over pants.

I don't consider myself to have wide feet as I've always purchased regular sized shoes, but these boots were so very narrow that they hurt two seconds after putting them on, and feet still throbbing after taking them off! Sadly, I have to return them. They look great, but if you have anything wider than a very narrow foot I would pass on these.

Beautiful boots. Just a note if you are a shorter woman...the boot shaft was too tall for me. I am regretfully returning them.

These are great boots, but the stretch part seemed to already have snags in it! I recommend not to pull up on the elastic!

Very cute. Unfortunately, I have a high arch and couldn't get my foot in to the shoe part of the boot. Sad to return.

I wanted these to fit so badly because the style is great but the ankles were too slouchy so they're headed back to Zappos. If you have smaller calves but regular to wide feet, I bet these would work okay. They were quite snug on my smaller calves.

I was really excited to receive my these boots from Zappos! As a VIP member, I got them the next day - which is awesome! When I received them, they were boxed and wrapped very well. Disappointed the boots did not work out. I'm 5'3 and the 17" shaft was a tad too high for me. While in the standing pose, it looked ok, but when I started to walk, the top of the boot hit was hit the back of my thigh making it uncomfortable. I like the elastic stretch in theory, but it didn't flatter the shape of my leg. The heel height was good. Flat enough to be stable/sturdy for long walks and just high enough to still make it look feminine. Sad I have to send these back... the boot hunt will continue.

These boots were very comfortable but I am 5'3" and they hit me in the back of the knee. I also had a hard time getting them off. They are beautiful and comfortable but I will be returning them.

You know how you're out and hear loud shoes coming down the way? That's these. These boots felt okay, but ot as comfy as La Canadienne or Paul Green boots, and at about the same price. I see these are on sale now, so that makes it better. I put Paul Green on one foot and the Cole Haan Jodhpur on the other and walked down the hall. The Paul Green was much more comfortable and much quieter.

Super cute style, but just a tad too tight in the calves (couldn't pull over jeans, just tights), and I'm an 8.5 and it felt a little too tight. Overall-great quality/style, I'm just picky.

Great arch support, but a little drab. Plus, my calves are normal size, but I could barely get them on and off. There's no way I could have worn even skinny jeans tucked in with these.

Nice looking boot but a bit boring. The main issue is that there's no zipper so it was hard to get on and off. Getting it off was especially difficult. The boots were comfortable but a bit stiff. They would probably loosen up after wearing them a bit, but I returned them mainly because of the lack of zipper.

This is a very nice, very comfortable, classic boot that works best with tights and and not over jeans or other thicker pants. Probably best for medium to narrow feet. This was my first try with the Nike air technology and it does make a huge difference over my other boots without the extra padding. Unfortunately, after I'd worn them about five times, I detected an annoying squeak in the left boot. It kept getting worse and was inside the boot - something I could fix on the sole. Luckily, Zappos exchanged them - although, first, for an uncomfortable, stretched out pair, and second, for ones with a better fit, but which have a strangely sticky leather panel on the back of one of the boots! I guess I should be seriously questioning Cole Haan's quality at this point, which is unfortunate, because my feet really like the cushioning. Overall, somewhat disappointed, but suppose I should keep the third pair. Who knows what I'll get next.

I didn't even try this on, I was so disappointed in the color (so you can ignore the comfort rating - it might be like walking on a cloud). I ordered the oxblood, which looked like a beautiful red on my screen. When it arrived, it was sort of a pale, dusty purplish color. More like dried oxblood, perhaps. I'm sure it will be someone's heart's desire, but it was not mine, so back it will go. The cut was also not particularly special.

I ordered this boot...looking at the reviews, I was really hoping this would be the beautiful, classy, streamlined style I have been looking for months. Zappos service as usual, impeccable. The boot...ho hum. For the price? No one may agree with me, but it's a...boring boot. Quite a large part of it is the elastic goring...so it doesn't really help just the fit, but is very prominent. For a boot priced originally so high, especially the brand...it gaps at the ankle, is loose, and is just vanilla. I would pay this price willingly, and more...but also the foot shape...blah. Disappointed. Just my view, going back.

So bummed! I saw this boot at bloomies in brown suede and they sold out in my size. I was thrilled when I found them at Zappos but unfortunately, not in brown suede. Given the comfort and the fact they just went on sale, I decided to buy in black leather. The leather is very disappointing. it has almost a gritty plastic texture. These do not look like Cole Haan.

I have calves that are a little smaller than average (13.5"), so I was excited to try this boot with elastic bands that I was hoping would have a better fit. The fit around my calves was great--snug enough for a slim fit when wearing leggings or slim pants. The leather looks very nice, and it is very stiff as well to give it a structured look without feeling uncomfortable. However, the shaft height was too long for me, such that when I bent my leg, I could feet the top of the boot digging into the inside of my knee. I'm 5'1" and my legs are not particularly short or long. I would highly recommend this boot for taller gals though!

The leather appeared to be poor quality and it was too tall for someone who is 5'2. Not up to snuff for the Cole Haan brand.

This boot was not typical Cole Haan quality. It didn't even look like leather. Without a zipper or pull tabs, the books are very hard to get on over skinny jeans. Disappointed.

I am a confessed Bootaholic. Like the look of these boots and that's about all. I am an equestrian and know Jodhpur type boots. No pair that I have are this ungiving or tight. The leather is lesser quality and not at all flexible making it hard to slide your foot into without any give. Super skinny opening for even a normal width foot and calf. Pass on these!

Unfortunately, the boots are too tall for my legs, cutting into the back of my knees. They are also really hard to take off.

I was disappointed, these do not look as nice in person. Online they looked richer and more lush, in reality they looked like inexpensive boots, and they are not. The calf was too big, as well. Still love Zappos, but I'm shipping these back.

I'm between an 11 and 12, so I got these boots in size 12 so that I can wear them with socks. Unfortunately, the 12 was like an 11 (or smaller) and I could hardly get my foot in, even with no socks! The style is fine, very simple. The pebbled leather makes them look a little cheaper than they actually are, but they are probably easier to care for than a richer looking leather.

Finding a proper fitting boot proves difficult every season and unfortunately these did not make the cut. The shaft is quite narrow and not at all stretchy despite a generous amount of elastic built in. I was unable to even get my foot all the way in due to limited stretch so I honesty can not speak as to the comfort of the foot bed. More disappointing though was the quality of the leather for the price point and brand. Stiff and pebbled, looked and felt rather "cheap." Not at all plush leather one may hope for in this price range.
