These are really great boots. When they first come, they are very tight. I could barely get them off, and the foot felt too snug. Seeing that most other reviews said the fit was perfect, I decided to take a chance and wear them around for a while, hoping they would stretch out. Pretty soon, they fit perfectly. The heel does not slip, foot does not feel too long, shaft is snug but not too tight. I am so glad that I kept them. They can easily be dressed up or down. I want to wear them all the time!

I bought these and wanted to try them out before I wrote review. I loved them when i pulled them out of the box. Only got better when i tried them on. These boots are fantastic. I love the height and the comfort lining (apparently Nike air technology) was outstanding. The boots hit 1" below by knees and I am 5'3" tall. But the best part is that they make my legs look long and lean. Got the black suede and looks awesome with tights and just above the knee skirts. Not too much gap at the calf for me. I haven't tried yet, but suede probably too dressy for tight jeans. The panels makes it easy to slide your foot in. Taking off the boot, especially for the first time took a good deal of pulling. I have worn now at least a handful of times and taking boots off gets easier. Not to mention classic style and will last for a long time. Love these boots! Got tons of compliments.

I tend to wear a higher heel, as they feel sleeker and they're more flattering, but this boot manages to slim and flatter any leg (my friends have tried them on). They're hugely comfortable and sleek without any of the bulk that some lower heeled boots can tend to have. I wear these constantly and am thrilled with them!

I bought these in black suede, size 10 and loved them so much I ordered a second pair in the oxblood color. Very comfortable to wear all day out of the box. I have a wide foot and wide-ish calf, and they fit me perfectly, so perhaps would be too wide on someone with a narrower foot or calf. The oxblood color is a dark/dull red, kind of brick red. I was pleased as the didn't scream "red" but a more neutral. Very well made.

I love the look of these boots but they were unfortunately too tall for me and a bit too narrow. I'm 5'2" and 140 pounds with about 15 inch calves. The boot shaft fits just fine around my legs, and I love that these don't have a zipper. Sadly, they cut into the back of my knees when I sit. My feet may be a bit wide, so your experience may differ.

I have been searching for just these boots for the past two seasons! The elastic panels on the side hug my calves. These boots are classically simple. They can be worn to work and then out to dinner. They are my go to boot!

I love these boots. I have very narrow feet and have tried others that say they are narrow but end up being too loose. I ordered the boots in narrow width and these boots fit like a glove and are super comfortable!

Excellent boot! So comfy with the Nike air technology yet the black is dressy enough to wear to work. A+!

Great boot and comfortable right away. It hugs your legs all the way down so the ankles don't look as bunched as some others. It has a nice clean look to it. I'm usually between a 7.5 and an 8 and I got the 7.5. They fit, but rub a little in the toe. I don't think I'd want an 8, though.

Finally! A simple, elegant, unadorned boot that fits perfectly. Minimal calf gap for a streamlined look. One of the few styles out there that comes in a wide width too. Goes well with leggings as well as skirts/dresses.

Love these boots! They slipped on just like Cinderella's glass slipper! Butter soft and beautiful. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect. I had originally ordered an Ariat boot, but it was way too big and bulky for me. Of course with Zappos awesome service, I had these the next day!

The sole is a little stiff and it doesn't have as much cushioning/support as I'd like, But that being said, these boots look amazing. I mean, the way they hug my ankles and calves is amazing. It's snug and perfect! If you're one of those people who've been disappointed with those awkward flimsy boots that scrunch up at the ankles or those that are way too loose at the calves, these boots are for you! They make my legs look super long and super slim and they're just sexy. I love the simplicity of these boots but the stretch fabric on the sides add to the design and gives it an elegant look. Ahhh, I just love these so much! I'm almost considering getting the other two colors!

Beautiful and comfortable boots, but you almost need another person to remove them. The length of the spandex along the side makes them difficult to remove.

These look great, the quality is very good, and they did fit my wide calves, but I am returning them. These are pull-on boots (no zipper), and pulling them on and off is an ordeal. I would not recommend them unless you have skinny calves or do not mind taking an extra minute or two to leave your house.

Nice boots for wear with jeans or leggings. A good fit for my narrow feet! Comfortable to walk in, except... I am about 5'3" and they are almost too tall for me. They reach my knees, which is a nice look, but not so comfortable behind the knees when I move around.

Beautiful boots! super styling and leather. The Nike Air is a must. However, the right boot is so tight that I can barely get it on and off. Even though I'm usually a N or 2A, I got the M width and they are very narrow and tight. Sorry I have to return them as I really love them, but the right one would hurt all the time and who needs pain!>

Love these! They are cute and comfortable. I have a narrow foot and these fit wonderfully. The only downside is that they are hard to get on and off. That is a pretty minor problem.

I think these are really cool looking boots, but if you have longer legs, they really aren't that tall. With the stretch suede, they fit my larger calves, but they were a good 2 inches below my knee, which isn't a good look for me. I have to return them.

These boots are beautiful! Sadly, they are a bit small for me and have to go back, but they would be great dressed up or down. Very classic and versatile. they are difficult to get on and off if you have a high arch.

Generally comfy shoe. But after wearing it around all day at work and around NYC. My feet were feeling a bit pinched by the toes. Seems a bit narrow up there. Maybe a little stretch out and feel better once I break them in. They are a bit tough to get off. But they definitely make my legs look slim.

Gorgeous boots! So comfortable and look great. However, after wearing them for about a week I noticed a slight squeak in the left boot when I walked. Unfortunately it has gotten a lot worse, to the point that people comment on it, so they're going back. Hopefully they will give me a better pair!

These boots are beautiful and comfortable. They look great with skirts and dresses - they really elongate the leg. However, they are very narrow in the calf so they might not work with people who have larger calves. It also makes them difficult to wear with jeans unless they are ultra skinny skinny jeans.

I am so glad to find a riding boot that fits my big calves and they are stylish. I wear with thin socks but can wear with my jeans tucked in. Thanks Cole Haan!

These boots fit great, are super comfy and a lovely color, but a couple complaints - 1) the rubber sole started peeling off of both boots within a week of purchase (and I didn't get them wet); 2) the stretchy sides snag fairly easily.
